Would it be possible for someone to iron out an issue, preferably in the next FAQ update, for me.

Feat and Special Powers: If a character has a Special Power the specifially mentions a standard power, by name, can a feat that has a prerequsite of the same standard power, be assigned to a character.

For Example, every White Lantern has a SP call LIVE!. The Description of LIVE! specifially states this charachter can use "Regeneration". Can this character assigned the feat Auto-Regeneration? Also, if the character has a trait that also specifically names a standard power, like Caliban from GSX and Charge, can a feat be assigned to that character? In the case of Caliban, could he be assigned Movethrough?

If the character can be assigned the feat, please point out the exact place in the FAQ, for Golden Age, or Rule Book where is says you can do this. Additionally, would it be possible for someone in charge to somehow word in the next update this issue more specifically and clearly? This is a major point of contention I am having with a judge.

If you cannot assign the feat, then this is not an issue.

Thanks Realms!

Page 19 of the rulebook:

In order to be assigned a feat, the character must be able to use the prequisite power or ability. If the character uses the prerequisite power through a power or ability that is not a standard or named power, the prerequisite power must be named by the game effect specifically. A special power that allows a character to use “any standard power” does not satistfy the prerequisites for a feat. The character does not need to possess the prerequisites on the first click of its dial to be assigned the feat, only to use it (see below).

So, yes, a special power or ability (and traits are abilities) can be used as a prerequiste as long as the special power or ability specifically names the prereq. Like LIVE!, in your example, Regeneration is specifically named, so it can be used as a prerequiste for Automatic Regeneration.
