Too bad they decided to make Wolverine and Hulk instead of the original horsemen, who will now remain unmade (Like the rest of Hulk's Warbound and the other unfinished and now irrelevant teams)...

too bad that there are only 4 horsemen to use with this in modern age and one of them is caliban.

They already merged them in the last player's guide.

This came at a perfect time. I am running a 1000 point horsemen team on saturday. I like hoe it makes archangel and wolverine exactly 100 points with this on them.

I dunno, those new Hellfire Guards essentially amount to an ATA and gives them all they need to win.

they still lack a brawler character. hellfire club has great support and ranged pieces but they still lack close combat punch.

Nifty if you are playing this team. It's not a team I have any interest of ever playing.
I LOVE that Wolverine so I'm bummed there isn't an ATA he can use on my Xmen and Avenger teams. Thank goodness for Loner!

No, you can't use it if one figure is KO'ed. Didn't you read the article on the Wizkids site?

I did, but I wasn't sure if "Sure you may lose it if you do not have the requisite four Horsemen" referred to your force at the beginning of the game (say, you were playing a 300-point game, in which case you can't have 4 horsemen) or during play. Just wanted confirmation...

It seems one of those cases where comics-logic yields to game logic; it is the easiest way to theme Apocalypse with his Horsemen. ;)

Yup. In keywords as with all things, comic accuracy has to take a back seat to game balance. :)

the fact that the black king you both mentioned was so awesome as well as the fact that the hellfire club clearly was a priority in this set just makes it all the more mind boggling that they didn't give us a Sebastian Shaw in GSX.

they could have found room for the real horsemen

Yeah, this seems to be on about the same power level as the other 1 point ATA in the game - Outlaws.
It's overpowered in the hands of a very skilled player who can keep all 4 alive, it's also a great backup if you run 5 horesmen, when one KOs the TA Kicks in. It's going to push people to gun down one of your figs to weaken the team. If you could play with less than 4 I'd say this is severly undercosted but with how it's restricted it seems it may be just a bit undercosted.
hell yes, i am liking this ata. if only M&M ahab and gambit had the keywords as well as deathbird.
