Day Zero

A man walks into a dark room. Pulls on a dangling string, a bright light turns on. He lays a large case on the table and bends down to be level with it. He twirls the combination lock on the side. He pops the clips and lifts the lid. Each compartment has a small figure. He smiles as he looks at they’re beauty. He turns to his small desk and boots up his computer. A phone rings and he leaves the room closing the door behind him.

The Little pieces come to life, they play with near by dice, object tokens and counters; all is well… or is it?

Welcome to the Chase Mafia, where the rare and valuable try to coexist.

With 23 players 12 is majority. you can vote no vote. if no vote gets majority the phase will close.

There a ton of possible themes when thinking about 4 mafia members (OR, SV, BB, GSX, Abby), but in a game this size, I would think there would be 5 or 6 mafia, so I don't know.

The theme could be in character choice like zombies or in something clix related like aquatics/expansion (GSX, Origin). Either of those guesses are good places to start. To be honest, I haven't memorized all the chases so the aquatics one might be a bad example, but it gets my point across.

The two friends stopped at an edge. They figured this was a good a place as any to scope out the whole room. A red figure was sneaking behind ready to carry out an assassination. When the target was consumed by a powerful blast. Stunned The assassin hid making sure the assault was over. The shooter was not alone he was in front of a large familiar figure... they left shortly after the attack...but the assassin still had work to do, the remains were dragged into the shadows, "no one will find you here, and you will still serve us well." the assassin went to report back when a sudden strike removed many vital organs...The assassin had been killed. The friends faded away.

"Red Assassin" does sound SK-ish, so hopefully that is done.

And unless the mod is taking some pretty big liberties with the "chase" them, the GSX duos are the only ones I can think of off the top of my head.

First, they are the ones passing the head strong woman (maybe Lois). And then they are scoping the room and see the red assassin.

Second, they take out the target the assassin was also stalking, then leave.

If you've got a different way to read it, tyro, let's hear it. Any and all information is a good thing at this point.

The assassin is pretty clearly getting ready to target whomever was taken out by the powerful blast.

And that powerful blast seems to be coming from the shooter standing with the large familiar figure.



So while I will grant that the duo passing the woman may not be the same as the shooter/large character, it seems pretty clear to me that the assassin was not targeting the duo or the shooter/large guy.

Hmm, awfully ballsy claim here, but very testable. If we lynch Jerry and he comes up scum, we believe Mr. bauers. If we lynch Jerry(and I think we should) and he comes up town, we can lynch bauers tomorrow. Following the cop is good. Do we know for sure where he went? We've got what appears to be midirection in play. We're close enough to a majority that I'm ok voting for Jerry for now to see what Wade and others think. I can easily move it back.

Honestly, it sounds like you're defending Jerry rather than following Wade. If Jerry is our suspect heading into the night and he's mafia, why wouldn't they protect him? I think we should really consider the evidence and make a smart decision on who to lynch rather than push an "if/then" argument.

The only problem with that break down is it seems as if one of the Janitoring killers (the Red Assassin) was then in turn killed and Janitored (and based on the order in the write up, was probably H&C).

So while Jerry may have killed H&C, he doesn't seem like he's responsbile for both kills. So the fact that there are two kills and Jerry was doubling is not nearly as damning as all that.



I still like Jerry based on the copping (and pushing), but I want to hear whether or not there was an actual copping first. Wade might as well come clean, because even if he's wasn't the cop and picked on dbauers for some other reason, I imagine the mafia won't take any chances and try to get him tonight in some way.

With Jerry's name copping confirmed, I'd say that Jerry couldn't have been misdirected by Rokk, nor could he have been tracked targeting myself and veguto by Wade. That's two ways that db's claim is busted. I still don't trust Jerry at all, but his info seems to check out.

Alright I'm in class and posting this quickly so that if you do lynch me, the info is at least out there. I got a results pm that said rokk was Green Arrow. It didn't say your target is GA so I felt it was accurate. Second, I was masoned with Deadshot who was Susan Richards. It's one of the janitors. I'll post more once I get out of class in about an hour.

It would be a HUGE risk to lie about being someone after the first night without a safety net like a janitor killing. And dbauers didn't focus on this claim, either.

Now, something is really odd about the pairing of Jerry's mason group. KC Superman and Susan Richards... why? Perhaps it's because they are alternate versions of the character, not the real character themselves. Could be a good branch for a mafia theme (Which could have KC Superman, Susan Richards, Spider-Woman, and the zombies, for example). This is just a theory and is likely wrong. I just have no idea why those two would be masoned together.

dbauers' story doesn't feel real, either. You would think that he would call more attention to Jerry's mason partner claim.

I think they are both mafia (different mafia teams, though), and dbauers knocked off Susan Richards from Jerry's mafia, and Jerry is trying to use the janitor aspect as a cover-up.

Name-cop is almost always a scum power, but it can be verified. How do we verify dbauers power. His power claim makes him un-coppable. I understand a town cloak, but his power structure makes it impossible for us to gather any sort of info. That does not sit well with me at all.

1) wade came on and said he COPPED me as mafia AND tracked me as targetting two (alive) people

2) i said wrong on all accounts (not mafia, wade didnt target me, and i didnt target 2 people). i went to bed

3) i woke up and saw a giant train on me, so i came forward with my info. i said i hid with jerry, and i voted for him.

4) jerry said that he DID target 2 people, but not the two that were said (because he was misdirected and didnt realize it)

5) jerry said "look i can prove one of the people i targeted was rokk, cause im a name cop" (really whoever is in his mafia and ACTUALLY is a name cop, just supplied him with the info)
