I generally surround everyone but Red Logan next to Invisible Girl, Human Torch is Invisible Girl's personal taxi and defense service. Also Rogue taxi's Jean. Only weakness that I find is outdoor maps with lots of small buildings, but I've usually found ways to outmanuever sniper teams and get close.
Sometimes I charge with Rogue and plop him next to someone, or I'll have them sneak around near Logan. Also Black Cat and Black Panther(clawed) give Cyclops outwit and probability control - I find that it makes him almost unstoppable near Invisible Girl. And Blue Black Cat rocks over e/r Wolfsbane(32/39) as the X-Men's click transfer person.

Another variant:

Blue Juggernaut 125
Blue Cyclops 68
Red Logan 60
Red Jean Grey 50
Yellow Human Torch 40
Yellow Invisible Girl 37
Blue Black Cat 32
Blue Wasp 33
Yellow Black Panther 27
Blue Shield Medic 15
Yellow Shield Medic 12

(Exactly 499)

In this one you really anger your opponent with medics and the Avenger ability (which Black Panther and Black Cat now have too!). Juggernaut and Logan together can really put on the hurt, but they can't be carried. So I like to use them to tie up and whomp some baddies and then move away - then let Cyclops blast the remainders. This team is way more defensive though.

It looks like you play somewhere Rookie Invisible Girl teams haven't gone out of style yet. People around here were playing with teams like this for a while, although the best had White Queen in for MC and leadership. You will have major problems with this team against any Ultron-based teams with high attacks and energy explosion, even if there is no universe-mixing at your tournament venues.

E Ultron 139
E Annihilus 103
E Boomerang 34
E Boomerang 34
R Hawkman 32
V Nightwing 72
R Steel 66
V Shield Medic 16

I took first in a tournament this weekend with this team, which would give yours serious problems. Since your key guys have ES/D, if an energy explosion shot gets through, you are probably SOL.

As far as improving your team, I would get rid of R Thing, he has a pathetic attack value, and his high defense is pointless if he's next to invisible girl. This seems to be a "hero" team, so you could put in E Hercules instead, he does excellent damage with a high attack, and could use some help on his defense values. Besides being vulnerable to energy explosion (like all Invisible Girl teams, for the most part) your team isn't very mobile. Any other advice would depend on the style most people in your area play.

I finally beat our local Invis-Girl snapping turtle player two weeks ago, on my third try, so I know how tough teams like yours are to crack, but once that initial defense is pierced, the team can go down really fast.
