impervious to toughness

being new, I'm not sure if this question has been asked, but if I use Outwit on an opponent, and turn off impervious, and during the turn, I damage him enough and his impervious become toughness, is the toughness outwitted, or being a new power, is it still on?

Toughness is on, because it's a new power. However, if you Outwit Invuln, then the character takes damage to put them on a new click that still has Invuln, it's still turned off. In other words, you are Outwitting the actual power and not just the specific click it exists on.
