"Last stop. Everybody out." declared the ghostly form of Mysterio. His long tattered cloak billowed wide and from its depths came the remaining members of the Sinister Six, past and future. Four of their number had already been lost; Kraven and both Vultures taken captive, and the robotic Hobgoblin detonated in a scorched earth failsafe as they fled their former base. And now they were about to lose one more.
"I can take you no further. Mephisto's wards bar my presence here." explained the Mysterio of this grim future, his body already appearing insubstantial as he faded back to whatever hellish Limbo he now resided in. He had played his part though, providing a quick escape from their near capture and depositing the entire group on the rooftop of a high-rise just across the street from the Baxter Building. "Perhaps it's for the best though. I don't like leaving my throne unattended for too long. It breeds troublesome ambition in my subjects."
"Subjects..." breathed the younger, still living Beck.
"Get going then!" the Lady Octopus snapped, waving a tentacle through the fading image of Mysterio. "We mortals have serious work to do."
"Any thoughts on where the time platform would be located?" Electro asked, his attention focused on their target, and the diminishing time they had to plan before their presence was discovered by a patrol. His SHIELD training was kicking in, dividing his goals into mission objectives; breach the Spider's web, secure the time platform, rescue the hostages from the past, send them home. The Six had never attempted a frontal assault on Spider-Man's stronghold like this before, knowing they would easily be outmatched. But today was different; this mission was all or nothing. If the time-lost supervillains succeeded in returning to the past, they might be able to prevent any of this from happening in the first place. If they failed, it could cause a paradox that wiped them all out anyway. Either way, what happened to Electro didn't much matter.
But he could at least get his satisfaction from that bastard Parker.
"Assuming he hasn't totally rearranged the building's layout, the time platform would be in the lab section, in the uppermost three floors. And I would need time to hack past its codes, and however long it takes to boot up..." Carolyn shook her head, mentally calculating their odds of success. "There's no way. The team is at half strength, and thanks to the Vultures getting captured he probably knows we're coming. Even if we have Rhino act as a distraction to draw the bulk of the security, we'd STILL be swarmed by clones and robots in less time than it took to even get the time machine running."
"Don't worry, if Spider-man tries to stop us, I'll just squash 'im!" Rhino laughed and stomped a foot enthusiastically.
"I know buddy, I know." sighed Electro. "Well we can't just stand around up here. There's got to be SOME avenue of attack that gives us at least a shot."
No sooner had Electro completed his thought than the entire south side of the Baxter building shuddered and a great gout of flame erupted out from the ground up to the sixth floor, ejecting fire, broken glass and black flaming metal onto the city streets below. Everyone watching gasped in shock, having no clue what had caused this fortuitous disruption in Spider-mans defenses. No one was about to argue with their sudden good luck, but that didn't mean they didn't wonder where it had come from.
Peering down over the ledge at the dying red flames that licked at the bottom of a growing plume of oily smoke creeping up the side of the building, the next surprise came when a screaming spider-clone went sailing out over the flames and plummeted to the pavement below. After him came more screams, but this time from a struggling figure held in the grip of some hideous monster that came crawling out of the wreckage. Paying little attention to the clone's futile struggles, the great slinking Scorpion-Thing climbed steadily up several floors clinging to the building's exterior, leaving rended out handholds where it passed. Reaching some unguessable destination it beat the clone against the wall until the reinforced, bulletproof glass eventually succumbed under the onslaught. The beast crept inside, still dragging the bloody clone in one claw, to continue it's massacre.
"What did I tell you guys? We've got fate on our side." Electro joked, his defense against one more atrocity he had just witnessed. "Let's make the most of it."

"It bypassed the ambush!" Peter wailed in frustration. Opening a comm link to his clones, he rattled off new orders to try to adapt to his unpredictable enemy. "Clones #33, #80, #104, reposition to the east side of the 10th floor and await orders. Clones # 40, #42, #61..."

"What?! No, it couldn't have... no, this is something different... Aha! The Sinister Six decided to pay us a visit as well!" Peter laughed, slightly relieved. Turning from his bank of computers Peter was carried on his long mechanical arms, up to face his newest captives. Suspended in the metal mesh of the "web" that crisscrossed the upper reaches of the lair were Kraven and both Vultures, arrayed around the withered Otto Octavius. Peter Parker's robotic limbs scaled the web with ease, rattling it's strands and shaking his prisoners awake. "This at least I was prepared for! This I have been waiting for ever since I detected your flight harness, leaking not just anti-gravitons but tachyons as well! The Sinister Six will come here looking for you, and I'll be ready for them!"
"What are you going to do, throw more clones at them?"
"SHUT UP OTTO! NO! NO! I'm not! I've moved Doom's time platform up here, so that they'll have no choice but to face me!" Peter raved, one artificial arm pulling something down from the rafters and handing it to Peter himself. He unfolded the faded cloth, looked at it, then hastily pulled it on over his head. The shirt didn't fit at all anymore. Peter's middle-aged belly protruded from beneath the bottom lip of his old red-and-blue Spiderman top. The stretchy fabric did it's best to accommodate his expanded girth though, in the end resulting in even the spider-symbol on his chest looking saggy and obese. Next Peter pulled on his old mask, becoming Spider-Man once again. "Where's the pants that go with this costume? I've got the boots. But the pants, I thought I put them..."

"Nevermind then!" Peter declared, striking a pose in his ill-fitting costume, pants or no pants. "Come, Sinister Six, and taste justice from the one true Spider-Man!"

"What? Oh, yes of course. Absolutely." Peter said, remembering himself. He laughed a little at how close he had been to letting his nostalgia for his old crime-fighting days cost him a fatal mistake. "Wow, what was I thinking? Without the Mark-6 Slayers I might actually LOSE! Ha! Hahahahaha!"

BC: *PROXIMITY MINES (Collateral Damage #002): At the end of a turn, if any character is in the same square as an uncarried object or in a square adjacent to an uncarried object, roll one six-sided die. On a result of 5 or 6, deal 1 penetrating damage to all characters in the same square as or adjacent to the object, and then remove the object from the game.
Special Rules:
- Parker and his team start in the top starting area, the Sinister Six at the bottom.
-The Tentacles are special 'bystander' tokens that must start adjacent to Spider-man. They cannot move or be moved more than 4 spaces away from him. After Spider-Man takes a move action or is moved by any game effect, he places the Tentacles in any adjacent square.
- At the end of each player's turn, roll 2d6 and add the current Turn number to the result. If the result is 15 or greater, that player must place the Scorpion-Thing in the right hand starting zone. At the start of the Sinister Six's turn, give the Scorpion thing a move action if possible to move directly towards Spider-man in the most efficient way possible (taking into account blocking terrain). If he becomes adjacent to any characters during his movement he stops (despite having Leap/Climb). If he is adjacent to any character he will attack them instead of moving, giving preference to whoever is most directly in between him and Spider-Man. He will use any powers he possibly can on his turn (except Regen). If he KOs Spider-Man he will stop moving (and munch on Parker for the rest of the game).
- The Captured Sinister Six members are stuck in Spidey's web (represented by the Fantasti-car on the map). They cannot move or take actions at the start ofthe game. They can be freed by the Sinister Six if a Sin 6 member takes a free action when adjacent to them. Captured Sinister Six character will then be able to join the fight at -1 health. They cannot be attacked by Parker's team, but they can be attacked by the Scorpion-Thing. The Web (Fantasti-car) is hindering terrian that cannot be ignored for movement.

Question? Do the Legs use Peter's Leap and Climb? Normally the person who deploy's last goes first, correct?
Spiderman saw where the sinister 6 were coming from. "Good" he thought to himself. They are entering right where I placed the proximity mines. Then he said "Slayers Move out!"

No, the tentacles don't have Leap/Climb. You can still give them regular movement actions (but they can't go farther than 4 away from Peter), or when Peter moves the tentacles will be placed adjacent to him when he finishes moving.

Vulture attempted to escape Peter Parker's tentacles, but was still trapped by them. Peter said "It's futile to escape you will be defeated and terminated soon enough. Why don't you start reflecting on your pathetic lives now, that way
when they end, you will at least have some closure!" Just then his Slayers closed in each of them attacking their designated target, but all of them missed. Peter mused "I definately need to work on their attack plan programming"

3) Lady Octopus will leap/climb away from Peter, swinging around the web to W4, where she frees Kraven. This puts my point total up enough to give me 5 actions a turn now.
4) Electro will attempt to break away to running shot. Rolls (5), which is still a success even with the Slayer giving him a -1 to the roll.
"Spider!" Electro calls out. "Today I'm putting an end to your stranglehold on this city! You and me, ###-hole."
Electro flies to P10, and uses pulse wave. Roll is (4, 5) for a 19 total, hitting Spider Man and all of his tentacles. Spider man shudders at the electric surge shakes his spine, and simultaneously each of his deadly tentacles falls the the ground, limp and useless.

Note: That move with Electro was what I was trying to prevent, that's why I based him. Great job with it.
Story:
"No!!!!!!!!", cried Peter as the electricity arched along the ground into his body and legs, causing all of his legs to go numb. "Slayers! you were supposed to stop this from happening. Switch to plan Delta". All of the Slayers Responded "Switching to plan Delta eliminate the biggest threat!"
However, only Slayer #7 was able to get to the target. #6 had to finish off the enemy in front of him before moving, He landed a punch which sent the Vulture back into the spiderweb he had just been released from, unconscious. Number 8 was covered in sand unable to move. Peter saw the smile of electro and focused all of his force into a web bolt, which hit electro and entangled him ,but the electricity surrounding Electro seems to dampend the effect.
Sounds of explosion below them were errupting and getting closer, the Scorpian thing was getting close and everyone sensed it!
Actions:
1) Slayer mark 6 #8 uses indomitable and pushes to close combat attack sandman. Entange Roll: 1
2) Slayer Mark 6 #7 uses Indomitable and pushes to leap climb and moves to P11 basing Electro
3) Slayer Mark 6 #6 uses Indomitable and close combat attacks Vulture. Att 10 vs df12 needs a 6+. Rolls a (3,2)=5. Take 3 clicks and is Ko'ed
4) Spiderman will try to incap Electro. Att 9 vs Df17 needs an 8+. Rolls a (6,6)=12. Electro takes 1 for the Incap and pushed.

When I saw he had pulse wave, I feared that might happen. I based him, but he made the roll and now spidey's legs don't work. It was a great move.
I assume peter cannot move anymore, correct?

I don't see why not. There's nothing in the rules that says he needs them to move. And story wise, he could just disconnect them from his waist and go back to fighting the old fashioned way, even if he is chubbier than then he was younger.

Story:
The Mark 6 slayer released some gas from it's vents causing Electro to gasp for air. While he was weakened the slayer landed a solid hit, but instead of electro being weakened he seemed more determined than ever.
Peter Park saw everyone closing on them, he shot a web into the roof and swung away from the danger. Lastly, Slayer Mark 6 #6 attempted to strike Rhino, he hit, but his razor claws failed to hurt him. While the remaining Slayer was still covered in sand and trying to break free.

Actually Rhino's :d-normal: on click 2 is only 17, so you actually hit him with the Slayer there. You've gotta watch for stuff like that ;)

Thanks for reminding me about Rhino. I didn't even realized he took a click.
Story:
Peter knew the end was near he had way undestimated the 6 and their allies. As his Slayers hit them they each grew stronger, not weaker, Peter knew he had lost. His saw the Scorpian thing coming towards him and shot a web at it, but his out of shape body meant the shot was off target.
He waited for it to pound him.

"hard to believe it came to this," Adrian Toomes said aloud, speaking directly out into the wind rushing past the gaping hole torn in the side of the building. He stood on the ledge, unafraid of the hundred foot fall in front of him, staring down at the deserted city streets and abandoned cars below. "We can't let this happen."
"Well yeah, for sure." Sandman said, several steps further back from Vulture's precarious perch. "Obviously the first thing we gotta do when we get back is make sure Octopus' wedding never, ever happens. That way none of us have to die!"
"We are going to die. Sooner or later." Toomes scoffed, shaking his bald head. "I'm talking about this, this police state, this choking web that has strangled the city with absolute law. This is what happens when costumed 'heroes' are allowed free reign over a place, with no one to knock them off their pedestal. One madman deciding what is right and what is wrong for everyone. I won't stand for it."
"Sure... but what can we do?" Sandman agreed.
"You can change it." answered Electro, stepping past Sandman and approaching his former mentor. "None of this has to happen. This can all just be a dark possibility that you warn me about when you get back, just in case. Here," Electro handed Toomes an envelope, "take this. Read it in private when you get back. Don't share the contents with anyone, especially my younger self. Watch, and when the time is right, act on it."
Toomes took the envelope carefully. Temporal paradoxes were a tricky thing that he did not want to muck about with. But since this was a future they were actively trying to prevent, perhaps it was for the best. Either way, he would hang onto it for now. If he should change his mind, he could always toss the letter in the fire, unopened. For now, Vulture tucked the envelope and its secrets away inside his costume.
"No offense to your crapsack future, but is the time machine ready yet? I wanna get the heck out of here." Sandman complained, shifting about nervously. "Sooner or later that Scorpion-Thing is gonna get hungry again."
"I doubt it likes the taste of sand." Electro said with a dark chuckle, though his eyes also drifted around apprehensively. "Let's go check on their progress anyway."
Deeper into the Spider-Man's former lair and workshop, what was once the laboratory of the legendary scientist Reed Richards, the remaining members of the Sinister Six past and present were scattered about talking or watching the two Doctor Octopuses work. Though weak and swaddled in a filthy blanket Otto's brilliant mind was nevertheless crucial in assisting his young protégé in making her adjustments to the antiquated Doomtech Time Platform.
"Since we know we can't send you back to a point in time where you already exist, we'll have to aim for some time shortly after you left." Carolyn explained, closing a couple open panels on the machine and wiping her dirty hands off on her pants. "Any time in particular that would be good?"
"How about after Ock repairs the sub? I'd prefer to skip the manual labor if it is all the same to the history books." said Mysterio, already standing on the time platform.
The senior Dr. Octopus heaved a labored sigh. "That, is actually correct. I should have known it was your laziness that stuck me with weeks of work." Mysterio smiled to himself and Otto continued, "send them to 25 days, 8 hours and... 32 minutes after their original departure. To 'The Princess' bar in Madripoor."
"Got it. Everyone step aboard who's going aboard!"
The four time travelers climbed onto the repaired time-platform and shrugged an awkward goodbye to the future that they hoped would never exist.

"Another round for my friend and I!" the man called The Wizard slurred drunkenly. The bartender glared with his one good eye at him and his drinking companion and wordlessly poured them each another shot.
"What were we thinking?" Otto mused, staring into the dark liquor in front of him. "Who did we think we are? Assembling our teams of criminals, robbing banks, picking at the leftovers of a real supervillain's plans. We weren't criminal geniuses. We weren't even regular geniuses. Stranding our followers in who-knows-when. Leaving them marooned in time, to be some dinosaur's snack or trampled by a mammoth."
"We did get away clean from SHIELD. And we got the sub all fixed up. That's pretty good." Wizard offered optimistically.
"Pretty good for mechanics! We were supposed to be scientists! We had everything we needed to rebuild the time machine and even working together we couldn't fix it. We're useless." Otto spat, then grabbed his glass in one metal arm and tossed it down. "That's it. I'm not subjecting any more allies to a fate worse than death. I'm gonna sell the sub, move to New Zealand, and raise sheep."
"Well I'm going to move to Canada and farm maple trees!" Wizard said with a nod, holding up his shot glass as a toast and slinging it back. "And I'm going to stay blissfully drunk, forever. I will invent a new form of perfect alcohol that never leaves your system."
"No more inventions! Inventions are what caused this." Dr. Octopus insisted with an angry shake of his fist. "Hey... you'll come visit me on my sheep farm, won't you?"
"Of course brother, of course." Wizard reassured him. "And we will drink, and remember the good times, and honor the memories of the men we lead to their doom. "
The bartender just rolled his eye at the pathetic display of the two drunks. From the looks of things they would stay there drinking and weeping until dawn. That is until a flash of unnatural white light lit up the dank tavern. Shattering glass sounded as the bartender dropped the liquor bottle in surprise, and both inebriated scientists turned on their stools to see what had caused it.
"Last call, boozy." said Vulture, glancing around the filthy dive bar with distaste. "Time to get you sobered up and back to work."
"Toomes! My men! You've come back!"
"Yeah no thanks to you." griped Mysterio, "Why the hell did you come all the way to Madripoor? I happen to know there are several dozen perfectly serviceable dive bars back in New York."
"I've decided to give up my life of crime. I (hiccup) will live clean, starting tomorrow!" Otto declared, raising his glass high. "Come my friends, join us for a drink!"
"Oh no, you've got work to do." Vulture insisted, grabbing Ock by a tentacle and pulling him off his stool. Ock collapsed onto the ground and stayed there, even as Vulture dragged him across the dirty floor towards the exit. "We're getting you sobered up, then back to New York. It's up to us to keep the criminal fraternity alive!"
"Wait, I don't understand." interrupted the Wizard, "If you four are here, what happened to my Frightful Four? Weren't they with you?"
"They are in a Syrian prison." Kraven mentioned to him as he grabbed a half-empty bottle of vodka off the table of a frightened drunk. "I would expect you should free them before they are extradited to somewhere more secure." With that Kraven and the rest of the Six dragged Octopus out the door and off in the early morning hours to find their docked submarine.
Wizard gaped bleary eyed at the now empty room, at a total loss for what had just happened. "Syria? ...What?!?
