Brotherhood vs Xmen

This is the thread for the battle between me and Kaizot. I am using Brotherhood and X Villan figs vs his all Xmen team. The battle will take place in the warehouse.

A cry is heard within the mansion, the school for gifted youngsters. But the audible cry is nothing compared to the scream in all of the X-men's minds, the scream of their mentor, Charles Xavier. Each X-Man drops whatever task they were performing and without hesitation, rushes to their teacher's aid. Nightcrawler, of course, is the first on the scene. He scoops up the limp body of the Professor, removing the helmet of the Cerebro system from his head, just as some of the others enter the great chamber of the mutant finding machine. "Is he alright?" cries Jean Grey, resident medical expert, and one of Charles' first students, but only time and patience can tell for Charles' injury is mental rather than physical.

Later, under the concerned eyes of the team, Charles relates what happened. He had been searching the states for any signs of mutants when he had discovered the signal of something new. There was some form of mutant who's power was off the scale. He probed further to determine the exact location, only to discover that it could sense his presence. He tried communicating mentally with it, but when he touched it's mind, it lashed out. It was only barely that Xavier had raised his defenses in time to block most of the attack. But the element that frightened the Professor the most... he had sensed contact with Magneto within the creature's mind. Obviously Magneto had also learned of this powerful mutant and would attempt to enlist him in his Brotherhood of Evil Mutants.

To weak to go himself, Charles sends forth his X-Men to find the mutant and retrieve him, before the Brotherhood finds him first. Scott Summers, confirming the coordinates of the mutant from Cerebro, gathers the team in the Lockheed jet, but tells Jean to stay with the professor. When they made contact, they would need to Professor's skills to determine what to do with the mutant.

Flying at Mach 6, the team arrives at the coordinates in a little under 15 minutes, only to discover that the destination is a warehouse on the outskirts of Dallas. As they disembark from the plane, the receive a mental communication from the Professor, "I sense the presence of Magneto and others near your location, be careful."

"You heard the man, let's move out, but keep your eyes pealed." commands Cyclops as they approach the warehouse.

Magnito stood quitely in the drizzle looking at the warehouse. Something had called out. Something powerful, powerful enough to call even mon mentants. Magnito could only imagine what it would do to someone such as Charles.

He glanced down at the asembled Mutants.

Sabertooth growled in the back of his throat. "Do you think they'll come?"

"Oh certainly, there is no doubt about that." Magnito replied.

Mystique suddenly shifted into the form of Professor X and in his voice. "I have felt the presance of a mutant, a powerful mutant. We must get to him before Magnito." She then shifted back into her normal form and laughed.

Pyro, looking annoyed at standing out in the drizzle asked, "What are we waiting for?"

"The others." Magnito replied.

"What others Father?" Asked Scarlet Witch.

"Them." Magnito said pointing as Deathbird and Sauron came sweeping down from they sky.

Also appearing was Silver Samurai.

"Kononichi-wa Magnito Sama." Silver Samurai said bowing low.

"Who's he?" Growled Sabertooth.

"Now Victor," admonished Magnito. "He is an enemy of Logan." he replied with a slight smile.

Sabertooth seemed to have a fleeting half smile at the thought of another enemy of Logan. "He's mine."

"We will see Creed san." Silver Samurai replied.

"What are we waiting for?!" Deathbird screams out. "Let us not waste time! To BATTLE!"

"Patience." said Magnito, "All in its own time. Now, Destiny, you are sure they will come here?"

"Yes." Destiny responded simply.

"Good, then let us enter then." Magnito said infusing command into his voice.

"Bout bloody time." Muttered Pyro firing off a quick burst of flame to dry his clothes.

With that the Brotherhood (and its allies) snapped into smooth action which would have done any commander proud.

Magnito levitated himself and Sabertooth (By his Adamantium Skelliton) and flew into the warehouse.

Deathbird grabbed Mystique in her tallons and flew into the warehouse. Setting Mystique by the desk.

Sauron grabbed Pyro and flew behind a crate, lurking, waiting to strike.

Silver Samurai used his Tachyon blade to disrupt the very walls of the warehouse which he quickly stepped through. Additionally he walked through one of the crates searching for the elusive mutant.

The Witch and Destiny move up to support positions ready to alter the laws of fate and probability to help their comrades.

Avalanche mopes forward.

Mystique shape changes into a normal looking secritary and pretends to cower in fear (Stealth)

"Now Xmen, what is your move." Magnito said quietly.

Actions:

Magnito Carries Sabertooth. Magnito lands in K13 setting Sabertooth in L13
Deathbird carrys Mystique. Deathbird lands in J17 setting Mystique at K17 (stealth)
Sauron Carries Pyro. Lands in M11 sets Pyro at M12

I think I have decided that I hate this map! Visions of She-Hulk and Thor decimating my X-Men are dancing in my head. And now I'm looking across the board at a charging mob that wants my head again. This is gonna be ugly!

Ah well, who wants to live forever?

My turn to come...

"Oh, we're coming, Maggie" mutters Wolverine as Storm begins things by picking up Cyclops and flying to P13, dropping the leader at O12, where he climbs onto the forklift.

Cyclops looks around at all the opponents and sighs thinking this may just be too much for the team. "Gotta start somewhere..." he says while firing an optic blast at Pyro. BLAM! (Pyro is hit for 4 clicks)

"*Sniff*Sniff* I smell an old friend of mine up there...Rogue, hows about a lift..." "Surely, Darlin." answers Rogue as she flies to N12, dropping Wolverine at M13.

"I thought I recognized that foul smell. I'm gonna enjoy this!" snarls Wolvie as he lets his claws fly at his arch enemy Sabretooth. But, a little over-eager, Wolverine misses opening himself up to a counter-attack.

Nightcrawler decides that he can be of help, but needs to get into position, so runs/summersaults/cartwheels/bounds over to I5 hiding behind some of the crates.

the x-men's jet is called the blackbird, not the lockheed
sabretooth does not have adamantium skeleton

If I am wrong, someone can surely correct me.

I was hoping to see the brotherhood use a double barrier strategy, but it looks like pyro is done for.

X jet is called the blackbird but it is a lockheed.As for the adamantium skeleton on sabertooth I think you're right.

In the new Ultimate X-Men, Sabertooth does indeed have an Admantium Skeleton. But otherwise, no he doesn't.

Sabretooth now has an adamantium skeleton in the real Marvel Universe, too. He picked it up when Claremont came back to write Wolverine. I think it was around issue #100.
