Copied and Pasted from Magnito's All-Star Game.
Things to remember:
1) A full writeup of the rules can be found here: http://www.mafiascum.net/ This game will be more complicated than what's described there, as nearly everyone has some sort of 'special thing' about them. Doesn't mean everyone has a night power, but you never know...
2) When you vote, please do so by saying Vote: [Player] in bold. If you wish to change your vote, please say Change Vote: [Player] instead. Voting for 'Nobody' is a valid vote; if a majority votes for 'nobody' then nobody will be lynched and we'll move on to the Night phase.
3) There is a Town, their goal is to remove all threats from the town.
4) There is a Mafia, their goal is to remove the Town and any other threats that there may be.
5) You may NOT send a PM to anyone about this game unless your role explicitly says you can. This is cheating.
6) Do NOT edit your posts in this thread. This is cheating.
7) Please do not copy-and-paste anything from any PM I send you to the thread. This is also cheating.
8) Please do not post in this thread after you are killed. This, too, is cheating and can ruin the game if done wrong.
9) Cheaters don't get to play in any other Mafia games I run. Period.
10) Remember, it's just a game. You will get paranoid, you will be stabbed in the back by someone, you will see somebody do or say something stupid and want to smack them. Just breathe deep and relax. If things get out of hand, we do have a mod around who will forcibly remind you to chill out if needed. It hasn't happened yet, and I'd like to keep it that way.
11) If you have a power that requires me to pm you, I will inform you if you are roleblocked or not. Otherwise, you will not be notified.
12) All powers that say PM are not optional. If you do not PM me your target it will be "randomized" which will probably be bad for you.

A couple with their share of secrets tried to keep up with a costumed person. Anyone else wouldn’t have had a chance, but these two were special. They didn’t see the tripwire ahead though and they both tumbled to the ground upon hitting the unseen obstacle. The woman was quickly snared in a restricting net while the man fell into a deep pit.
Before the man could leap to freedom, a large weight was dropped on top of him. Even his considerable strength couldn’t support the weight dropping on him in mid-air and he was eventually crushed. The woman would soon free herself from the net, but not before a blade would slice through her neck causing her to bleed out. Her killer smiled and went about his work.
* * * * *
Nearby, a man kept to the shadows, trying to see what his target was doing. If he had been watching closer, he would have noticed a large man with an unfortunate condition behind him. The large man was prepared for the man in shadows and knew he was no match for him in close combat. The large man tore away the shadowy man’s cloak and threw down from the building. Without his special weapon, the shadowy man was defenseless against the large man. After being beat down harshly, the large man pulled a gun and shot twice into the shadowy man’s head, killing him.
* * * * *
A man in a lab was working late. Suddenly, a strange super-hero burst in. The lab worker looked at the strange man and the strange man looked at the lab worker. “Nebermind” said the strange man and he exited the way he came. The lab worker mused at himself and then went back to work on his project.
Grinner is dead, he was Jim and Stephanie Powell from No Ordinary Family, played by Michael Chiklis and Julie Benz. Together they were strength and speed trying to protect the innocent while keeping up with their daily lives. (Town)
H78Er_vpo70
DarqFeonix is dead, he was The Cape from The Cape, played by David Lyons. He was a cop framed for crimes he didn’t commit and equipped with a weapon which normally gave him the upper hand, but not today. (Town)

Summer Glau is in it? Cool. Regular or just a guest star?
Originality is hard to do with superheroes thesedays, so that's forgivable, and poor acting can be dealt with (although it's often somewhat subjective anyway). So why are you legally required to say it's the Greatest Show on Earth?

Should have done it like this:
I am the wild blue yonder. The front line in a never-ending battle between good and not-so-good. Together with my stalwart sidekick, Arthur, and the magnanimous help of some other folks I know, we form the yin to villany's malevolent yang. Destiny has chosen us. Wicked men, you face The Tick.

I didn't ask for a full claim, you were just seen targeting a dead player, and that is very suspicious. If you have info, now would be the time to share.

If that's a fake claim, it is pretty ballsy. Tick is almost a shoe-in to be included.

If you didn't ask for a full claim, why after I said I was the Tick, did you ask for my power? He's right, I did target him so he wouldn't be able to kill me.
If I had a kill power, I wouldn't even have the heart to kill him after what happened in the Birthday Mafia.

It does - and also some heroes - but, hero or villain it doesn't really matter if we don't know the theme of the Mafia. So their "Show Alignment" doesn't matter as much to me at this point as just the fact he feels okay coasting by with, "Yeah, that was me working in a lab according to Wiki."

A colorful man walked up to a rather aloof man for a little chit-chat. Suddenly, a strange superhero flew down and attacked the colorful man. The aloof man stood and watched as the strange superhero chided the colorful man. The aloof man thought he heard something about the colorful man parking somewhere he shouldn’t. The colorful man struggled with the strange superhero to no avail. The strange superhero moved the colorful man’s car for him by picking it up and throwing it further down the parking lot.
The aloof man smiled to himself and went on his way. He had had fun matching wits with the colorful man, but there were other things he had to attend to.
* * * * *
A man in a red suit flew over the city looking for his target. After he was satisfied with his observations, he started on his way home. He crash landed on a nearby roof and quickly got up and dusted himself off. A large man stepped out onto the rooftop and grabbed the man in red. The man in red was pretty strong though and knocked the large man back.
The large man persisted in his attack, grabbing the man in red’s cape and pulling him back. The large man found the zipper to the man in red’s suit and pulled it down. The man in red tried valiantly to stop the large man, but soon, the man in red was in his underwear. Now powerless, the large man knocked him down and then shot him twice in the head, killing him instantly. The large man looked at the red suit and decided it was too small for him, so he threw it off the side of the building. No one ever found where it landed.
* * * * *
The trap had been set, and the prey was on its way into the snare. However, a brilliant flash of light caught the intended target’s attention and he was soon away to safety. The same flash attracted the attention of a large man in blue and a smaller man in white. The skylight smashed and a loud call of “SPOON!!!!!!” could be heard as the large blue man fell into the trap.
A net was release, trapping the small man in white. The large blue man went to his sidekick’s aide, only to be stopped by a metal cage. While the large blue man tried fruitlessly to open his cage, the killer stepped out and made his way to the small man in white. His head had a convenient handle for the killer, and soon he drew his blade across the neck of the man in white. Blood spilled into a large pool as the life escaped from the small man in white.
The large man in blue was greatly enraged as his friend died. The metal cage was no match for his newfound strength and soon he was free. The killer taunted the large man in blue, causing him to charge the killer. A cable closed around the large man in blue’s ankle and he was tripped up. The cable hoisted him into the air where more cables waited for the rest of his limbs. The cables only hindered the large blue man for a moment, but that was all the killer needed.
The killer fled through a nearby doorway. The large man in blue snapped the cables binding him and followed the killer. The killer was in his sights when the large blue man lunged forward. The large blue man fell into a hole with smooth sides. Before he could regain his feet, the large man in blue was trusted into the air by a rocket. The rocket sped out of the atmosphere and into space on its way to the moon. The large man in blue wouldn’t be heard from again.
The killer went to work on the small man in white. After all, his kills were works of art and every artist signs his work.

Last Day phase, folks started voting for H&C because he "hadn't been participating". Lo and behold, he suddenly appears...but acts evasive. WakandaMan decides to come to H&C's defense...and then the Day timed out.
Other than that...we know EternalRage was the Tick (and apparently Arthur as well) and that ChiRocker is someone "working in a lab".

I'm just as happy to vote H&C but part of yesterday was to see who would leap to H&C's "defense" and WakandaMan was fairly fast to do that when sensible pressure was being put on H&C.

No, that was not it.
I chose H&C as a low poster first and foremost. goodman pointed out that H&C was probably the man in the lab in the writeup, and H&C verified it. He's locked in now in terms of claims. We don't yet know what the Mafia theme is (at least I don't know), but when we learn more then it would be prudent to go back to look at H&C.
In all reasonability, there shouldn't have been any extra push on H&C after that. WakandaMan's response was reasonable. The ones who kept on voting afterwards (K-ness, ER, normal, ChiRocker, etc.) were less so.
And this post:

That said, I did make a mistake in memory - I thought it was Chi who was the one who admitted working in the lab, not you. Get's post reminded me that part of what you were being evasive on was that you felt "Working in a lab" automatically cleared you.
Remember though - I never voted for you. I wanted to see if folks were going to come to your rescue from the pressure, which is what WakandaMan did.

Yes, God forbid someone should get sucked into discussing a speedy lynch train as opposed to, y'know, trying to get a better understanding of things.
Especially since batfink was pretty open with his ID on top of things.
And I'm -never- a person who gets messed with...nope, not at all.
That's why get is so awesome at everything he sets out to...nope, sorry, it's not even a funny joke to go in that direction. :devious:
Rokk, I know it's your play style to push people's out of game buttons when you're under fire, but you must know that it does nothing to help you in this case.
You're not going to bait me into making a spur-of-the-moment statement you can take advantage of.

Rokk, I know it's your play style to push people's out of game buttons when you're under fire, but you must know that it does nothing to help you in this case.
I'm far more likely to push people's buttons when I realize they're scum who's tripped their hand. Not necessarily thinking that in your case...in your case, I'm just pointing out that...yeah, you're not as on top of things as you like to think.
I'm sure I could find ways to actually push your buttons if that was the desired effect...but the fact you're even taking time to comment as such says there is some effect or you would have just ignored. So congrats. :)
And I shouldn't even be the one you need to convince, anyway. ;)
Why's that? Are you saying you aren't Town so you're going to push for this lynch to get rid of a Town member? Any Town member should be someone I need to convince.
Or are you really not going to acknowledge that:
1) When I'm Mafia, I protect myself far better than just getting caught right out of the gate.
2) batfink was pretty open with his ID by RP'ing a bit, making him ripe for being screwed with...
3) ...and I'm also a very likely person with whom folks like to mess with as we've seen in -how- many games? Especially since I was being a -vocal- player (unlike most everyone yesterday).
Now, you can either let me prove my power tonite or you can lynch a Town member because of your ego refusing to acknowledge three -very- common situations.

Anyway, I highly doubt that Rokk targetted me last night. I should have known about it if he did. That combined with the fact that he's claiming Joker (really?) and generally seems scummy leads me to:
Vote: Rokk Krinn

Know what I hate? When I go "14 more hours" and somebody hammers in 2.
Totally defeats the purpose of holding off in case somebody else has something to say and when Rokk comes up mafia (cause he's the Joker) I'M the one that looks bad for not voting when it's really Quebbster that's being anti town for hammering a lynch 12 hours before the day ends.

Also, as much as lawyer type powers can be fun, I am frustrated that it has become standard procedure to throw on another 2-4 votes after every lynch in case there's a lawyer or vote stealer in effect.

Or in case he is the don (which I doubt) and the day is still open after the hammer is dropped. I'm sure Logan would have posted a vote total if it wasn't majority if he had seen it, but if he was mafia and somehow unlynched at that point, there is absolutely no harm in throwing down an extra vote or two just to make sure (he was mostly likely dead anyway, and if he was not, he was then most likely scum, so why not).

Oh there's no harm, I'm just saying it annoys me that it's become so common place to see players that are hard to lynch that we feel like we HAVE to throw down votes after majority has been lynched.

The colorful man looked about the faces of the people around him. "No really, I'm on your side," he pleaded, but his words weren't convincing. Seeing his options dwindling, he grabbed the flower on his lapel and sprayed acid towards the crowd. One brightly colored hero stepped into the acid stream, protecting the others. The colorful man started to run, but even that proved futile. Before he knew it, he was under arrest and on his way back behind bars.

A strange superhero spied a truck parked in front of a wheelchair ramp at the local bank. The strange superhero thought this was strange and went to check it out. When he landed, he saw a cylinder of red nearby. He wasn’t able to make out anything beyond the cylinder, but he was sure that somehow, justice was being done.
A large man barreled out of a nearby alleyway and ran straight into the strange superhero. The large man grabbed the strange superhero and squeezed him tightly in a bear hug. The strange superhero was unable to break the hold and was soon suffocated by the large man’s iron grip. The large man then took the nearby truck and fled the scene.

Seemed too willing to follow Rokk around.
I'm guessing we aren't supposed to know goodman's alignment... though his character suggests Town.
And I think 5 votes on deadshot is a good squeezeplay.

Now, can someone please point out to me how deadshot was so eager to follow Rokk around when he's only posted 3 times, with only one post following blanket logic that many have been accused of?

I'm going out for the evening and likely won't be back on until late tonight. I want to point out that JoH never voted for Rokk despite all of the evidence stacked against Rokk. He came online, said he could vote later, and then only complained about how we hammered a vote.

Because the day was ONLY HALF OVER, which I pointed out and then when Quebbster and Wakanda closed the day, I pointed out how THAT was anti town because it made me look bad for not voting while closing the day for discussion early (except Logan wasn't online at the time so it didn't matter).
Rokk roleclaimed as himself, an obvious mafia member. Rokk was copped mafia. Rokk was going to get lynched. There was no doubt about that.
The only reasons to reach majority early are
a) To close the day and eliminate discussion and
b) So that people will look at the voting record and think you're town because you voted and
c) Because you won't be around later to vote and you're afraid the player won't be lynched without your vote and
d) Because you aren't paying attention.
Two of these things are anti-town. One of these things didn't apply. The last...well, it didn't apply to me (must have applied to Wakanda, might have applied to Quebbster). So logically, there was zero reason for my drunk self to vote during the previous day phase.
So regardless of Batfink's cop results on me (which you can't 100% trust unless we think Rokk was the misdirector or unless we think there's a guide), yesterday's vote shouldn't make you think I'm mafia. It should make you think Quebbster is mafia (which I do but not to the extent that I think Deadshot is mafia).
So to recap, we're only a few votes away from majority with half a day to go and Rokk is obviously going to be lynched no matter what.
Jack's inner monologue : I am town. I want Rokk to be lynched and discussion to happen. My first goal is a given. I will not hammer so as to accomplish my second goal.
Jack: "I'll vote tomorrow."
Wakandaman's inner monologue: I am town. I live in Australia. Time zones are mysterious and maybe I'll be asleep later in the day. Or maybe I'm not paying attention.
Wakandaman: "Vote Rokk Krinn"
Quebbster's inner monologue: I am mafia. I want Rokk to not be lynched and I want there to be little discussion and I want everyone to think I'm town. My first goal is not going to happen. I can close discussion by voting now. More importantly, I can make myself look good and make Jack look bad by voting now and preventing him from voting. Later, when Rokk comes up mafia, everyone will think Jack is mafia even though this is illogical since Rokk is going to be lynched anyhow. Or maybe I'm town and not paying attention.
Quebbster: "Vote Rokk Krinn"
See? See how it would be dumb for a mafia member to try to stall out a sure thing this early in the game? See how a mafia member would instead rush to put his name on the voting record and end the day?

A muscular man in red flew through the air, looking for people to save from disasters and mayhem. His thoughts drifted back to his family for a little bit, but then he saw trouble. A large man was knelt down on top of a roof, apparently planting an explosive device. The man in red landed and tapped the large man on the shoulder. “I was expecting you,” said the large man, as he grabbed the man in red’s throat.
“Your accent sounds familiar,” said the man in red, untroubled by the large man’s grip. “Is that North London?” The large man switched tactics and began striking the man in red’s stomach. This too did nothing to the man in red who was determined to make small talk. The large man retreated back to the explosive device he was using to draw the man in red in.
“CATCH!” shouted the large man as he threw the explosive device at the man in red. The man in red caught it and detonated in his hands with his heat vision. The blast didn’t affect the man in red, but the large man was knocked off the top of the building. The man in red quickly flew to the large man’s aide, but the large man was fell to far to fast and landed on the pavement below in a mess of red and green.

The seasoned man rolled out of his chair to defend himself. All he saw was the knife as it sliced into him again. In a moment of desperation, the season man threw a pellet to the ground creating a cloud of smoke for him to escape. “Another time,” thought the mystery assailant.
