Multiple Attacks and Powers?

I had been under the impression that when you used a characters abilty to attack multiple targets in ranged combat (With multiple arrows), that you couldn't use a charcters powers in conjunction with this.

However, a friend was arguing that he was told by a Heroclix Judge (Knowing the Judge, I queston any call he might make) that he could use Energy Explosion with it, allowing him to overlap the damage in a group.

That also potentially opens things up to a lot of other abuse (Sure, you only do one click of damage base, but add in RCE?).

Is there an official ruling on this anywhere? I didn't see it in the FAQ anywhere...

You can't use RCE with multiple targets because it explicitly doesn't work with other powers or multi-target shots. (Read the PAC).

Regarding multi-target power combos:
Multi-Target EE overlap is quite popular. Even better if you boost the damage since the boost affects both targets.
Multi-Target Mind Control is only on one figure so far, and No Mind Control/Pulse Wave either.
Multi-Target Incapacitate is not a bad combination.

I think that's about it for powers that work at range.

Boost? Like, with Perplex? Or can you use something like the SHIELD power with it?

ANd Multiple Attack/Incapacitate could be a lot of fun.

Perplex will not work but SHIELD and Enhancement will.

It is Multi TARGET NOT Muti ATTACK. There is a difference. But you can Incapacitate as many figs as Lightning bolts that you have.

incapacitate....love that power, even better when I field multiple figs who can do it. nightwing and spidey are pretty deadly when on a roof top.

not to many figs have multiple attacks with big time powers but it definately does change the threat level of those figs. ;)

You Can Use Any Of Your Normal Ranged Abilities (Exept RCE) Such As Running Shot, Energy Exp., Incap., Mind Control. But You Have To Use The Ability On Both Targets And Have To Have LofS. So You Couldnt Use Pulse Wave Since It Does Not Use LofS To Two Specific Characters.
