View Full Version : Can anyone explain new FAQ Wild Card ruling?

Is there something I'm not getting? The new FAQ, under Wild Card says, " When using another team’s ability, you are only considered part of that team
for team ability purposes; for anything else, you are a member of the team
printed on your base."

This seems like stating the obvious. Is there a current abuse of WC ability--or a potential one because of Xplosion--that I haven't seen in game play?

Since I try to maintain my Marvel/DC PAC document with current FAQ info, I want to make sure I understand this new ruling clearly.

Thanks!

Yeah it sounds like redundant wording to me..... I thought the same thing when I read it about 10 minutes ago.

It's for when you are using the X-men ability, doesn't mean you are AE with Sentenel, ect.

Thanks, Magnito. I guess in an instance like that it's worthwhile to state the obvious, just so a nitpicker doesn't try to pull one over on someone else. Still, the former wording seemed sufficient for me in cases like that.

Oh well, the FAQ is neither art nor science :D
