Hey, I'm pretty new to actually playing heroclix, and I was wondering if you guys could give me some pointers and help me shape my team a little more, thanks.
Okay, here it my 300pt post Xplosion X-men Team:
V Meltdown (Cheap EE, can do damage thanks to enhance)
R Iceman (Taxi with barrier)
V Psylocke (Enhance, BCF, Stealth)
E Colossus (Heavy Hitter)
V Gambit (Main Long Range guy)
U Shadowcat (Taxi with bite)
E Con Artist (Perplex, duh)
V Paramedic (Support, duh again :P)
What do you guys think?

Welcome to Heroclix and the boards. ;)
Regarding Meltdown, I'm not sure you need it. You already have Energy Explosion in Shadowcat and Gambit. I would take it out and upgrade somebody or include somebody else.
You can possibly upgrade Iceman to veteran by taking Meltdown out. This way you would have a much longer range, as your long-range guy Gambit only has a range of 6.
Psylocke is obviously great for many reasons. Keep her with Gambit, or better yet taxi her around with Shadowcat. ;)
Colossus is your main heavy hitter. Keep him in sight of Gambit so you can perplex up his damage or attack. If you have trouble with him, then I would suggest adding in the veteran Roque. Not only does she fly, but she works extremely well with Gambit. He can boost her damage early on, then boost her attack after she has taken some damage. And then her Steal Energy will kick in and keep her alive.
I wouldn't change Gambit. I really like this figure. Not only can he hit for three from his Stealth position, he can also boost his teammates if needed. Not a bad deal for 50 or so points.
I'm not sure if you need the Con Artist and Paramedic. If you could take them out and squeeze in a veteran Jean Grey somehow, that would be extremely useful. You can use her to telekinesis people around, and she can heal.
Otherwise not a bad team. Hope you have fun with it. :)

yeah ghost, good advice!
i almost always read the advice people give to these teams, just to see what people are thinking and to pick up on their basic strats...but most aren't well thought out. that's a really good assessment!
nice job.
