I take it this was recorded before they revealed the three original horsmen?
Made me laugh when you said nobody has to tell you to not use toad because i just ran a 400 point brotherhood team that had the new magneto, and then 7 old brotherhood figures that were all under 45 points. In this game, toad murdered the ion kyle rainer, critically shoved deadpool off of a building, and then as my last character lefts standing on his last click, pushed to get the crit and incapacitate the new cable LE to death. Toad did so much better than anyone else on my team. Not saying hes a good dial, but the effort is so impressive!

Yes this was recorded before their release. Kinda weird how we were like what the heck with that ATA and then it happened. Yeah, sounds like Toad worked out pretty well for you. You should run that team again and see what happens. :)
I had a Gee do sorta the same thing in a tournament once as well. I was getting slammed and in the end Gee just started mopping the floor...I ended up losing though. But it was exciting. In my opinion, those are the best games, when an underdog comes out on top for the most part.
Absorbing Man can make exceptional use of this TA as he has steal energy which makes him act a bit like a duracell bunny if you can get it going.

I know the podcast is very casual and I am fine with that, but when the co-host of the podcast doesn't seem to pay attention why should the listener?
Maybe I got spoiled as I started listening with the Rules Podcast which seemed very focused. This one seemed like you guys through it together just because its been a couple of weeks since the last one.
I am not ripping you guys because I dislike you at all, I think the show has potential, but with a lot of room to improve. I look forward to the next cast. Thanks guys for letting me give constructive criticism.

It is what it. It's not for everyone, most people like the shows and our style of broadcasting. Unfortunately I am very very busy, and planning isn't always worked in. Perhaps I should stop producing them since I am so busy. Perhaps you may like it more if you listen more often. Thanks for giving it a shot though.

Well, I am glad everyone misses us. I personally feel really bad for not getting a cast together sooner. I am pretty much the Clixcast with Gudda being a Co-Host so there is a lot of backend stuff I have to do with each show and we were trying to increase the quality in the last few. That being said, It has been a rough last 2 months, I have had almost zero time for anything extra...hence my general absence on all things "realms" as well. Lots of things going on both good and bad. Clixcast plans to resume after or during Gen-Con. Sorry for the MIA status, but again lots going on. We shall return too. If your going to Gen-Con try and find me. Ill be the geeky nerd guy there.

dont you guys get it? instead of selling to an outer audience so to speak. they sell to the inner circle of fans. which sucks! its just another mini game you play.good luck good night. no mass market appeal. they tried thatand the avdvertisemsntslkthoj;sajtorweji failed. now hero clix is feeding off the same market that has been their for years. comics. although its cool to see the big movies, its still cut from the same cloth, the idiot nerds that will buy it no matter what. i remeber the classic clix, and no new players will come because of the limited audieane and the fact that THEY ARE PLAYING TO THE LIMITED AUDIENCE. jesus. butt. Larry I'm so sorry that you can't play this WONDERFUL game with others that... Well lets just say... You like. My venue has lost people over the years but we also have gained people! To be honest since the reboot we have TRIPPLED in SIZE and we have 3 going on 4 different places to play not 2. Also if you add in online... Yes poorly ran. It give people opportunity to play at all times with anyone in the world! Good luck. I hope you find a game and some FRIENDS that you LIKE. Try poky-mon, I bet you can run the tables on that. If I remember this podcast correctly we talked about the GSX TRU Exclusives (I could be wrong). It was my argument that they created these to open the game up to different avenues, same as with the Target GL gravity feed. It is a market that Wizkids needs to ease itself into. After the "Fall of Wizkids" a few years ago TRU and Target were both left with tons of product they couldn't sell. Trust needs to be built again in my opinion to offer these products again in these types of areas for the stores to order it again.
For now they are concentrating on the areas they know their product will sell in and then work their way into other markets. I think it all makes sense...even though it does upset some players from time to time.
You could also look at it like other properties as well. Think about Twilight Creation's "Zombies" or Warhammer or Most of Privateer Press' stuff. Now that I think about it, besides some Wizards of the Coast stuff, almost all gaming material (Strategy based games for ages 12 and up) can only be found on the internet, comic or game store. Why should Heroclix be any different?
