Let's get back to basics, people!

Whether you are a newb or a veteran mafia game player, your objective for this game will be to have fun!! (Fellowship Prizes will be awarded and mailed out to the winners!! Stay tuned for more on that note!!!)

I will put it to a vote to the whole group as to which new player deserves to be awarded Fellowship based on his/her contribution to the game and how much fun we all had by his/her participation.

I will also award a MVP prize to two players (Veteran and Rookie) for excellence in gameplay.

The prizes will consist of CUR Heroclix from WoS, DC75, or GSX that may still be missing from your collections, or a similar token of appreciation. These will be provided and mailed out by yours truly. So not only is there enjoyment to be had, but also swag! A win-win combination!)

Think of it as Monty Python meets The Godfather!!! Think of it as the bout of the century - Weird Al Yankovic facing off against Tony Soprano!!!

There will be no alternates - everyone will be included in the game. I will not start writing roles until we have a full complement - whatever that may be. :laugh:

That's the most foul, cruel, and bad-tempered specimen of ichthyology you ever set eyes on!

A note about Neutrals: roles in this game who are neither Fish nor Donuts will be Neutral.

Example - "Mojo the Helper Monkey" would definitely be a Neutral, with a win condition that may align with either Town or Mafia win conditions - or with neither of them at all. :cool:

Well, we have enough players with 16 sign-ups. All the same, I'll give it until tomorrow to give folks the chance to join in before I start writing up the roles. Even to latecomers, though - whoever wants to play will be able to join the game, so come on down!

2) I disagree about the number of vets. The game is being designed to promote vet-newb collaboration. Vets don't have the edge in this game, but are able to lend experience to newcomers.

3) Basic game, yes, but without vanilla. To be more specific: No Snoopies, no Dolphins, no Cult Recruitment, no Ghost Writers, no Janitoring, No Second Mafia, and Game Balance based on the more "traditional" mafia roles.

4) As a vet, you are welcome to join the game, but if you opt out then no worries on that note.

Fair enough. Just didn't want anyone to feel like it was the same old. The vet players here should know to take it easy. That said, I'm inviting a friend of mine to play under the name of Zombie Stomper. He's super nervous about it so he may decline the ofer, but I said I'd be his coach if he'd prefer so I'm not signing up.

No worries. I really want to play, but in the best interests of sportsmanship I don't think it is fair of me to join a game that I most likely won't be able to be active in.

We all know that now that I am not taking part the kid will be 1-2 weeks late...
