We have the aduckwhat site, it's great! But we need to know how to print the dial after we've made it. We tried using aduckwhat's directions, but it just doesn't work right. Is there an easier way to make and print combat dials for our mods? I hope someone knows. Thanx!

I need to know why! This is not something that only you have had a problem with. But I did walk someone throught it on PM and they got it to work. So I know it is a reproduceable solution. Is the problem in that that:
A. the instructions are too complex
OR
B. is the solution no good because most people don't have a graphics program
OR
C. is it that people don't want to learn stuff. ;)
As to point A, I have been known to speak tech better then normal speech. So I will try to review the solution and come up with a graphic turorial. I gotta tell you, once you get it to work, it takes less then a minute per dial.
As to B, well I do understand that most software is expensive but there are currently 2 options that are less then professional prices with professional results. One is Paint Shop Pro on JASC.com. You can download this fully functional trial and mine still hasn't "expired" after 120 days (although I do actually have a copy I bought at home). The other is the light version of Photoshop called Photoshop Elements, I think this version is just under $100. You DO need a program better then MS Paint, so if you can't use a graphics program right now, then the dial maker won't print what you need. (although it will some day, I just have to work out the scaling problem)
For C, well, what am I gonna do? I will attempt to walk people through the process in a graphic tutorial. I unfortunately have had no luck with the flash printing. So I can't get the dial scale right on a printer. :(

I downloaded the program you suggested, but I'm still having a few problems. Where do I click to find the resolution settings? I can't find it anywhere, and I'm so close to making your work around work for me. Thanx, and I look forward to your reply!

Resolution is found in the Image Size selection in Photoshop. I think it's something similar in PSP, but I can't remember.

Urlmaker, thanx man! Your dial generator is awesome and I've now officially figured out how to print them. My mods are lookin' sweet with their new dials! Looks like I finally "learned":) Thanx again for the walkthru, later.
I have made several dials, I'll post one to show what i've done, but I have made a Flash MX flie that I can just go in and change all of the attack values and superpower colors... it takes about 6 minutes to completely go over the whole dial...

I print them by importing the iname into Word and printing... haven't had any problems fitting them yet..

If we had one of those, we could just create one from the templates (creation matrix has a PSP one)

I usually have my brother-in-law do it for me. What he does is after he gets them made on his cad program he prints them out on cd label paper and we cut them out and then stick over the old stats. It works well and the idea should work with any program.
Help! Everytime I try to view a dial on the aduckwhat site, the same dial comes up: all 12's with a 5 for damage!
What am I doing wrong?
try updating it first than viewing
