Rules:
1) Standard rules apply. No quoting your pm, no talking about this game outside the thread unless the rules of your role allow it, etc.
2) I may tell you if your action failed. Or I may not. Depends on your role and it depends on the reason you failed.
3) You may leave your vote with another player. Voting, changing your vote or removing your vote after you have left it with another player will make me assume you are taking your vote back. You may not vote for yourself and voting for a player who has left his vote with you will cause that player's vote will stay where it was previously.
4) The Town win condition is "You win when all threats to the Titans have been eliminated."

Night Zero
Hawk and Dove finished up their patrol. As they came close to their apartment complex, Hawk hesitated.
“Dawn?”
“What is it, Hank?”
“There’s been something I’ve been meaning to talk to you about. When the white light brought us back, the Flash beat the tar out Captain Boomerang and took him to jail. The old Justice League International said one of their villains was brought back and they’ve been chasing him ever since.”
“Well yeah. And why wouldn’t they?”
“No, I get that. It’s just…why didn’t you arrest me too?”
“Hank.” Dawn put her hand on her partner’s shoulder. “You’re a hero.”
“How do you know that?” Hank growled, slapping her hand away. “Because I’m wearing this costume? Because I’m calling myself Hawk instead of Monarch or Extant? Dawn, I…I killed you. There’s no reason for you or anyone else to trust me.”
“That wasn’t you, Hank. I’m still here. You didn’t kill me.”
“I DID! Don’t tell me it didn’t happen, Dawn. I was there. I saw it.”
“Sometimes, bad things happen to good heroes. I don’t blame you. This is your second chance.”
“It isn’t fair.” Hawk’s fists were glowing with green energy, now. “We got a second chance. Superboy, Kid Flash, Donna…even that brat Osiris, they all got their second chance. But what about the other Titans that got screwed over? What about Don?”
“Hank? What are you doing?”
“Just because I lost the name doesn’t mean I lost the power. I’m making things right, Dawn. I’m going to fix everything.”
There was a flash of light and all of you found yourselves here, in Titans Tower.
“What happened?” someone asked.
“I did it” Hawk shouted “I took away all the terrible things that happened to us. I fixed the Titans! Everything is the way it used…” Hank began to glow green again, brighter and brighter until the others could barely even see him behind the bright light. “No! Not like this. NOT LIKE THIS!” And then he was gone.
Jackofhearts2005 is dead. He was Hank Hall, Georgetown hero, multiverse villain. Alignment: Titans
Day One begins. With 22 players remaining, 12 votes is majority.

I probably shouldn't say this but...always happy when Hawk gets killed as 99% of the time, I can't stand the character.

(Actually let me rephrase that - I haven't liked Hawk ever since they started messing with his character in the late 80's/early 90's....the older tales with him are better.)

That's actually pretty much in line with my view of him. I really enjoyed the 1988 Hawk and Dove mini and the series that followed it. Once Arm 2001 hit, it's just been character derailment and plotholes left and right.
Even though he's back as a hero, they haven't explained why, they haven't explained why his powers are different from his Extant powers or the ones he had during his old series either.
Much as I like 80s Hawk (and 80s Captain Boomerang), I don't understand why Geoff Johns went to so much trouble to bring him (them) back if they're going to make him so much different from how he was before with no explanation. Why go to the trouble of bringing a guy back from the dead if you're going to change his personality and powers? Why not just introduce a new hero that has the personality and powers that you want to use?

Keep wondering if it's because no one liked Holly - not that having her sleep with Power Boy really helped her cause - but, well, that's the writers' faults. She had a lot of potential.
I have mixed feelings on Holly.
On one hand she was a walking plot hole. The lords of chaos and order that gave Hawk and Dove their powers killed Don because they said two brothers wouldn't work as Hawk and Dove. Then they died. (Twice, since Willingham didn't realize they were already dead and killed them off again because Willingham loves killing Titans related characters) Then Dawn's sister that wasn't mentioned at all in Hawk and Dove's series shows up and says she's been living with their dad (or maybe mom) the whole time and she's the new Hawk.
So...
1) She never existed and her statements about their parents blatantly contradict the happy couple living together in previous Hawk and Dove comics.
2) Nobody can be the new Hawk because the being that gave Hawk his powers is dead and the other lords don't agree with that one.
3) If the being that gave Hawk his powers wasn't dead, he wouldn't give Hawk powers to Dove's sister.
and then yeah 4) Holly's kinda a ho.
But at the same time, if you ignore all the plot holes, she seems like a fun character who was killed off in a rather rude manner. If they had bothered explaining how Holly got her powers (perhaps Hawk's powers were transfered into Dove at the time of his death or something and she accidentally gives them to Holly), if she was Dawn's cousin and if she hadn't been killed off to make room for Hank, she could have been a worthwhile character.

Don't worry VDB/Darq, I'm not well versed in Titans lore either. I know some of the heroclix and that's about it. I think I read the run where Supergirl gets introduced to the team or something. I think Superboy went crazy. You can see how much of a lasting impression it left on me.

He doesn't speak or write Saladorenian because he doesn't know all the words of that language. Man my Spanish is rusty. I got most of ti though. if he starts using non basics words, I'm sunk.

Same boat I'm in. I haven't had a spanish class in, well, since I was in 8th grade. The best spanish lessons I had was working on a fence line, in the orchards and on a maintenance crew at the airport. The only problem, I was able to understand what was being said through had signals. Best times I've had working.

Heh, not sure if there's a "Salvadorian" language per se. I know I had a client from Guatemala once who only spoke a very strange indigenous Mayan dialect because he was from a remote tribe of natives, and it was nothing like Spanish (which I speak fluently). It required a special interpreter.

De acuerdo. No hay "lenguaje" Salvadorenio - pero si existe un dialecto ( = "el hablado Salvadorenio"), asi como hay dialectos Cubanos, Mexicanos, etc., con palabras que se usan en unos y no se usan en otros (o que tienen significado diferente, por ejemplo.)

It's a conjugation of the ver "creer" but I'm not entirely sure what it translates into. I thought it was the less common verb for "to know".

That's what I thought. Many spanish speaking countries still technically speak Spanish while they have their own dialect.

I really like that website. My favorite part is that they have lots of interviews with writers about what they were going to do with characters before another writer took over and took things in a different direction or before editorial took control of certain plotlines.

(And heck, with Mas y Menos - they literally have appeared for only a couple cameo panels outside of the animated series or the Tiny Titans adaptation. I think CharlesX is just have May 5th fun with us. :) )

I commend anyone who would get Mas y Menos with a post restriction of solely Spanish, and then they actually play it out. Given that I can't speak any other language fluently, I would be screwed with that role.

The Titans had intended to find out what happened to Hawk but they found themselves distracted by language barriers. A few fingers were pointed but enough people wandered off into other parts of the tower that the rest decided the time for words was over.
No lynch has occurred. You have 24 hours to send in your night action if you have one. Players that have not posted yet will be informed that the game has begun via pm.

A man in blue and white snuck through the tower. Suddenly, a blast of energy shot out and the man in blue and white did a back flip to dodge the attack. “Careful, friend. I’m one of the good guys. Why don’t we try to talk this out? I’m sure this is just a misunderstanding.” Another beam fired and again, the man in blue and white dodged. “No? Well that’s too bad.” He ran down a hallway and around a corner. By the time his attacker reached the corner, the man in blue and white was gone.
The mute one saw his target. CONTACT!
A pink monster found the one it had been looking for in the gymnasium. It grabbed the muscular man by the arm, expecting it to melt. His would be victim scowled. He could take the heat but he disliked being attacked. He threw a punch at the monster but his fist went right through it. They struggled for awhile but eventually, the two realized they were evenly matched and went their separate ways with neither the clear victor.
The man with the headdress snuck into one of the Titan’s rooms. He took a hair from the pillow and hid in the closet, fastening the hair to a metal doll. The bedroom door opened and the man in the headdress prepared to use his device. Soon, his enemy would be howling with pain. He jumped out of the closet door and tried using the doll…but nothing happened.
“Wait a second. This isn’t your room. Get out!”
“Not until the job is done” the other intruder said, drawing his sword. He stabbed the man in the headdress through his heart before the villain had time to react. “Consider yourself terminated.”
Michiganj24 is dead. He was Houngan, techno voodoo priest. Alignment: Brotherhood of Evil.

CONTACT is what shows up on panel when Jericho takes someone over, kind of like BAMF for Nightcrawler teleporting or SNIKT for Wolverine popping his claws. As far as gameplay goes, I would presume it means Jericho succeeded in his action last night.
Also I'm assuming the kill was made by Deathstroke, which would mean it's most likely the serial killer that landed the hit

Like two people have asked for a claim and you keep saying if people want you to you will...plus if you can't be targeted at night only thing you really need to fear then is being lynched.

I took that as him having another power that he doesn't want to give away, but to me that seems like good enough of a power as is. Not sure why but he's kind of coming off as a possible Don with some sort of protection to me.

Well, Mirage is from the same alternate timeline as my char, so there's that. No, I'm not masoned with Grinner (obviously I wouldn't have voted for him if so), but it seems pretty kosher.

JoH has gone pretty wide ranging with his character choices, which is why I was wondering if Grinner was going Mirage or was going to try and claim something oddball. My bigger issue for the name was that he'd already claimed power so his arguement seemed off. My even bigger problem though was people voting for him based on "jailkeeping and kill stop" theory when there were plenty of kill attempts in the write-up.
Heck, as someone I think who has appeared more in Titans-related materials than actual Titans comics, I have no suspicion of Mirage claims.
I do wonder though if Houngon not being able to find his target was also Grinner-related (or where this originates).
