Defend question

This came up in a tournement this weekend.

Invisible Girl was next to a figure with Energy Barrier. Her defensive value at the time was 17. Does the other figure get to use her defensive value of 17 + the 2 for the energy barrier against a ranged attack for a total of 19 defense, or is the other figures defense only the 17 he gained from Invisible Girl ?

Well.... Energy Barrier??


If you mean Energy Shield/Deflection....


Then, yes... the other figure will get to use Invisible Girl's Defense stat and it's own Energy Shield/Deflection power when they are both adjacent. This will give the ES/D figure a +2 Defense versus Ranged attacks....

Thank you for the quick response. I meant Energy Shield just typed the wrong discriptive word :-P . That is how we played it with the two powers both operating for a defensive total of 19.
