Ran the following 400 point X-Force team at my venue for our tournament(the first at that venue) for my first win in a long time:
Elixir
X-23(WoS)
Wolfsbane(WoS)
Domino(GSX)
Warpath(WoS)
Psylocke(GSX, Uncommon)
First match, played a Summer movie squad(Thor, Smokey Feet Cap, and Green Lantern with Leech as support). Warpath was beaten down by Thor, as Leech made it so I could do very little. X-23's Trigger Scent was on Cap, leading to him being brutally killed by her. Wolfsbane and Psylocke took Lantern out, which was followed by Wolfsbane chowing down on Leech. Finally, for the coup de' gras, Domino consistently pelted Thor, whittling him down and eventually killing the Thunder God.
Second match, played the following: Dawnstar, Young Superman, Ms Marvel, Psylocke(LE). X-23 never had the chance to go after Ms Marvel, who was the target of the Trigger Scent, leading to her being quickly killed by Young Superman and Ms Marvel. Psylocke(mine, to clarify) and Warpath went after the other Psylocke, Dawnstar, and Young Superman, with Wolfsbane joining in soon enough. Meanwhile, Ms Marvel made attempts continuously thwarted(by Domino) attempts on Elixir, while Domino whittled her down the same way she whittled down Thor. However, once Young Supes, Dawnstar, and Psylocke(LE) were down, Warpath joined in on the beatdown, with the final hit going to Elixir.
I have to say, I wasn't entirely sure how well X-Force would play, but now? I'm loving that team!
