Golden age JSA team HELP!

Ok, I've mad mods of the original JSA from their first appearence in all star comics #3 and here's what I got. The problem is, I only want to use DC bases, and don't want dupes on the team. Now i need help matching which figs should go on which bases. I will put pics up some time.

Dr.Fate - Steel (V)

Spectre - Braniac 13 (V) (possesion = mind control)

Golden age Atom - Bane (V) I used the bane fig, so i dont want to change this one, although he shouldent have superstrength, or 5 clix of damage.

Hawkman - Hawkman (V)

Flash (u) - Flash (u)

Green lantern/Sentinal = Superman (R) I know, I know, but what am i supposed to use?

Sandman - Blue Beetle (V)

Johnny thunder and thunderbolt = weather wizard

this comes to an astronomical amount of 689 points.

help me out here, G.L. should not be a superman rookie!

Well, if you wait till the next expansion, word on the vines says GL (sentinal unique), Dr. Fate, and Spectre might make appearances. Spectre I'm not too sure about, but I think Hawkman, Sentinal, Flash, and Dr. Fate would make a solid team, with a few figs to fill in gaps (though kinda weak in the brick dept.)

I'd say Darkseid for Sentinal his array of powers would fit better then rookie superman for sure.

and even though you are saying only dc I would highly recomend V Dr. Strange for Dr. Fate. Or Even Darkseid for Dr. fate

I play a JSA team, but I mix. Quasar is a great Green Lantern and Dr. Strange makes a good Dr. Fate. In fact, since the Defenders & JSA share the same team ability, the exp. Dr Fate works great. I also use Hawk for Hourman.

I don't think there's anyone currently in the DC set who would work well for either Fate or Lantern. There are a limited number of fliers in DC, and most of them do not have the right rainbow span of powers, while those who have the rainbow dont' fly.

Help may come sooner rather than later for Alan Scott. Just make sure to get the Inquest mail-away Green Lantern, and I'm pretty sure that'd make a fine base. BTW, are you planning to put up any pics?

I like your Dr. Fate, which is not to say that I don't like your other mods, I just like that one particularly. Maybe I'll make one to fill out my JSA team (Green Lantern, Flash & Hawkman; I'm currently using Batman, even though he was retconned out...)

Can hardly wait to see the picks. I too like the older JSA. I use both Marvel and DC dials because there's not enough DC yet. Hopefully that will be taken care of soon.
