regarding knockback, Leap/Climb versus Plasticity, and what Defense Superpowers will work towards Masterminded damage.

first, knockback:

|xxx
|Bxx
|xNx
|xxC

|=wall, B=Blue Beetle, N=Nightwing, C=Catwoman. I am Catwoman and I whipped Nightwing with doubles for 2 damage, which would have knocked him into the wall on a diagonal knockback, BUT Blue Beetle is standing right there. My question, does Nightwing still get +1 damage as if he crashed into the wall?

second, L/C versus Plasticity:

does Plasticity cancel out Leap/Climb or does Leap/Climb characters still wiggle out of Plasticity's hold and get free breakaways?

third, Mastermind and Defense Superpowers:

only Toughness and Invulnerability would absorb Masterminded damage, and Impervious and Supersenses cannot roll against Masterminded damage. Correct?

thanks!

1. When Nightwing would have to pass through Blue Beetle, his knockback stops and neither figure takes damage and additional damage.

2. Leap/Climb lets a figure ignore the effects of other figures on movement---Leap/Climb figures never have to breakaway, even from figures with Plasticity.

3. Correct. Masterminded damage is now damage from a superpower, which Toughness and Invulnerability can reduce due to a clause at the end of their PAC descriptions. Impervious and Super Senses only work against attacks, and so are helpless.

Hmm, correct me if I am wrong...so Nightwing will have only two clicks of Damage coming from Catwoman, even though it was either a successful attack or a knockback? For instance, see below:

Before attack:

|xxx
|Bxx
|xNx
|xxC

|=wall, B=Blue Beetle, N=Nightwing, C=Catwoman, x=map

Successful attack (knockback) would culminate in the same place? like this:

|xxx
|Bxx
|xNx
|xxC

Nightwing will suffer two damages and moves nothing at all (?), Blue Beetle NO damage and moves nowhere, thus giving smiling Catwoman another opportunity to damage Nightwing at next turn...right?

PS please forgive my ignorance since I would like to remind you that English do occasionally can be confusing since it is my second language. I would appreciate that if someone says "yes" or "no" then it would be sufficient. Thanks.

That's about the short and long of it.

Yes.When a figure is knocked back, it stops before it enters any square that has a wall or figure in it. If it stops before entering a square with a wall, it takes 1 click of damage. If it stops before entering a square with another figure, nothing happens. It does not, however, stop from entering hindering terrain.
