Troll / Antagonize Other Member(s) ?
Where is it that you draw the line? You allow Trolling but you don't?
where is this in the rules?
having read most/ if not all the rules
if you can link me to this info it would be great
because i still am unable to find a section for Trolling
How Does the infraction Point System Work?
is there an area we can go to find this out?
where can you go to find out information on this?
see above 3 questions...
Why was i not issued a warning first?
you would think if you have never received an infraction you would be notified that your in violation before receiving a punishment.
if you troll a troll aren't you still trolling?
that behavior also falls under the category i received an infraction for....
if on this forum you lead by example then the example was set so that this type of behavior is acceptable and tolerated.

why am i the only one who receives an infraction?
to me it seems like this rule was only enforced partially
Are you certain no one else was given an infraction? I'm not sure how to tell if someone received an infraction. I don't see anything on your public profile.

Only moderators can tell.

by my haves/want button area it says infractions 0/1 (4)
Only YOU can see it.
Nobody else can.
You and moderators do.
Creating a novel length complaint thread about your infraction is not the greatest way to go about resolving the issue(s). It would be best to speak with the mod that gave you the points. To quote Bud Palmer:
That's true!

I'm really glad you posted that. I'll admit to being fairly oblivious, but I thought I was losing it when I couldn't see them.

I don't know what example of trolling you're refering to, but I guess it has to do with either the "Be polite", "Rampant negativity" or "I'm a hater !" sections of this thread (http://www.hcrealms.com/forum/showthread.php?t=221927) (see first post).
You should also check the "What kind of thing gets warning points?" section of this thread (http://www.hcrealms.com/forum/showthread.php?t=154483) (first post again).

From one of the threads I linked to above :
What are warnings? How does someone get banned?
Posts that break the forum rules may incur a Warning. Warnings come with warning points (anything from 0 – 25), depending on the severity (and frequency) of the offense.
Sometimes a warning may just be a note that something was inappropriate and won’t have any points. Other times a warning will assign Warning Points.
Most warnings are only 3 – 7 points.
where can you go to find out information on this?
see above 3 questions...
In the two threads I linked two already, which are stickied in this very sub-forum :
- the "READ ME: User FAQ (http://www.hcrealms.com/forum/showthread.php?t=154483)" thread ;
- the "READ ME: Forum Rules (http://www.hcrealms.com/forum/showthread.php?t=221927)" thread.
(I do think these threads should be updated, they're quite old and some things changed)

This is a philosophical debate that goes well upside my head, so I won't say anything.
if on this forum you lead by example then the example was set so that this type of behavior is acceptable and tolerated.
I'm not sure mods are supposed to lead by example here (I guess you're refering to mods here). On a personal note, I won't complain about them, they didn't treat me unfairly (I never had much interaction with them in the first place, to tell the truth).

First way to tell if you're a troll is to see if you live under a bridge. That might make you a troll.
Also check your hair length. Is it really long and does it stick up really high? If so, you might be a troll.
Do you always carry around a wooden club? If so...possible troll.
Do you turn to stone when exposed to sunlight? Troll...maybe vampire.
Did you star in a terrible movie with an even worse sequel? Definitely a troll.

Alternatively, were you a CG effect in a frikkin' awesome movie from Norway?
Definitely a troll.

It would be best to speak with the mod that gave you the points.
That entirely depends on the moderator/administrator in question. One current admin is notorious for issuing additional infractions/warnings/points anytime he's questioned as to why a warning was issued, simply because you dared to question him (no matter how politely the question is asked).
Best to just take the points (if any) and forget about it. The majority of site penalties expire after ninety days anyway.

Usually there someone will come on the thread and issue a blanket warning. Like " Watch the Trolling". That is your warning. After that all it takes is one person to continue the frowned upon action and everyone that was getting out of hand gets an infraction. At least I think that is what happened to me. I tried to PM the mod but they did not answer. I don't know who else got an infraction but I can only hope that it was not just me.

BudPalmer's rule of thumb, when it comes to these sorts of things:
You should think before you post! :devious:
Troll 2? Actually GOBLINS!
