Actually looking at the pic, perhaps it is a picture of an actual Squirrel sculpt. That could explain the poor detail on it (since it would be such a tiny sculpt)

It's likely that Monkey Joe can only be played if you use Squirrel Girl. Likely the mechanic is that one shows up every turn (perhaps if SG has no action tokens) and/or she can take an action to call another one, similar to Larfleeze's Orange constructs. Otherwise, you'd see a lot of teams bringing tons of Squirrels without adding to the build cost. :cool:

Last I checked, those bi-beast/skull-brothers were hardly terrible, star. What you may consider terrible may be awesome in other folks eyes... and if you're being sarcastic, I apologize as text fails to translate well.

And considering that she actually is actively part of the avengers (babysitting Luke and Jessica's daughter in a recent issue of Spider-Man), I'd say that's credible reason. but eh. The way the Trait is written, sounds like only 1 Monkey Joe can be on the map at a time. When MJ is KO'ed, however, you should be able to give Squirrel Girl another power action to re-spawn another tree rat.

When SG removes MJ from SG's base, MJ is "placed" on the map. This should allow MJ to immediately take an action.

Monkey Joe Squirrel Girl begins the game with Monkey Joe attached. While Monkey Joe is attached, Squirrel Girl can use Super Senses. When Monkey Joe is KO'ed, reattach him to Squirrel Girl. When Squirel Girl is KO'ed, remove Monkey Joe from the map.

Run, Monkey Joe, Run! Give Squirrel Girl a power action and remove Monkey Joe from Squirrel Girl and place him in an adjacent square. Monkey Joe becomes a bystander token as described on the back of this card.

You're right, he's not a B-list character. More like C-list or D-list, and that's being generous, IMO. But that's OK, cause I happen to like Black Cat, Silver Sable, Paladin, Blink, Tigra, Valkyrie, and Meggan, and on the villians side Hobgoblin, Jack-O'Lantern, Kraven, Shocker, Scorpion, Executioner, Titania, and the Wrecking Crew. Most of those don't qualify as B-listers either. ;)
