My wife needs some helpful advice here. She tossed between 2 teams. So she's asking me to ask online what teams would you take.

Team #1 Nightcrawler burns

(E) Black Cat
(U) Nightcrawler
(R) Hercules
(E) Firelord
(V) Paramedic
(E) Iceman

I think the Strategy is pretty straight forward here.

Team #2 Fire and Ice
(E) Black Cat
(V) Human Torch
(R) Hercules
(E) Firelord
(V) Paramedic
(V) Iceman

Agian pretty straight forward ideas. My wife is a attack first ask questions later.

Well, for nightcrawler, you are getting a better version of Iceman and a vet human torch. Doesn't seem like much.

The theme is better with the second team, but I think that the first team is better.

Nightcrawler can be devistating (or can get killed quickly), but your opponent must deal with him! This might leave your other members alone enought to get into possition to really burn those enemies.

If they go for Firelord instead, then Nightcrawler is free to disrupt the support pieces.

One (even small) attack on Human Torch and he is out of the fight.

I would pick the first team.

I like Nightcrawler better then Torch.

I'm not curtain aboot the Black cat though do you really need to reroll that much ?
you could In my opinion better add another attacker.

Rookie Hercules rules !
10 AV with 3 damage and then 9 AV for a long time make him a very nasty melee unit.
just be sure he has some objects to throw/smash some figs with !

I dont know about Nightcrawler being better then the Torch, but he is defaintly more versitile. I fight between Torch and Nightcrawler is actually in pretty even. Torch gets the first attack but Nightcrawler has a far better defense. So he has a better chance to live through the attack.

I like Fire and Ice though you should add something to back up your Rookie Herc up close or dump him for cheaper minor bruisers (Bullesye, Cheap BCFers) or maybe some Perplexers
