I don't often use my DC pieces but was wanting to field a decent team around Darkseid. he just seems to good not to use. any other comments ?

Why are you using IG - R?

Is Wasp a taxi for Darkseid?

... and ignore the non-mixing "purists" :rolleyes: they are a very loud and very small minority. Mostly they fear the bat, and they should. Soon they will learn to fear the Legion.

IG is there to make Darkseid even harder to hit, Wasp and Doombot are their taxis. the medic is there for healing and the team ability. the shields are there for ranged support and the team ability.

Darkseid - 151 pts

Bane (R) - 61 pts GREAT rookie, with loads of clix! Toughness & 2 clix Damage!

Checkmate Medic (V) - 19pts IMO the best Medic there is!

T.O.Morrow (E) - 26 pts Super-Senses, RCE, and Energy Explosion... what more could you want for 26 pts?!

Changeling - 43 pts Starts with Probability Control & not much else! BUT... click #2 gets him going with Toughness, Super-Strength, and retains PC with 2 clix Damage! Eventually gains Leap/Climb, then Force Blast before KO consumes him.

I dunno.. this might s-t-i-n-k compared to your existing squad, but it always depends on how you play them. BTW this team adds up to the full 300pts, so you get all 3 available moves for your team!

I don't know if I like that strategy. IG would be a good support piece to protect the sniper, and you move around Darkseid and the Trooper with Wasp and the Doombot. Or keep the SHIELD's togther with IG and taxi Darkseid with the Doombot using the SHIELD ability to boost his damage.

Dude, no Probability Control in DC... Changeling has Shapechange, like the Skrull ability

You need a taxi. Use E-Hawkman in place of Changeling in the team above. He's a good one.

Another idea is to use R-Booster Gold and get E-Bane in place of R-Bane.

You could also use V-Man-Bat and upgrade to LE T.O.Morrow if you have it.

I was going to team IG up with Darkseid because he WILL be my opponents main target. making my main hitter harder to hit is always good. tho i do see your point.

I think your team sizes up pretty good actually. Darkseid is the man.... I'm waiting for mine to come in the mail.

EE will be your clumpy death. EE and Sheild team ability makes it worse. Ultron will kill you, alas, Ultron and Doombots with sheild friends will kill you faster.

For normal teams though, If they can manuver to outwit IG Defend, you are so messed up.

Darkseid is your only hitter, that happens to be a problem, everyone else is a support peice, in a 300 pointer that's alot of waste. The Doombot is good, as is Wasp, but I would only use one of them.

I've never used Darkseid so I can't help you make the team better but I can tell you it is extremley weak. Drop some support figs and add in another hitter.

I was playing my Team Darkside: forced to work together for a common goal, Darkseid and Batman (E) can make for fearsome duo with a few supporting friends (taxi/medic). I like using Darkseid, but for me he works better in a 400 pt team because he could end up the big target real quick in a 300 point game.

Also, it may seem like blasphemy to some, but I don't care if I force heroes/villians from other worlds to work together. Picturing Darkseid working with Wasp is funny!

Ya might want to watch out on account of only having 1 big guy, there whole army will be going up against Darkseid, but with IG next to him an 18 with impervious is great, but throw in a black cat or scarlet witch, and you got yourself a real hard guy to hit...

The problem I find with Darkseid Teams is that he seems to be the target of almosts all attacks because opponents figure that a Darkseid team will lose without Darkseid. This is why I found that in order to build a team around him I had to make sure that there are other decent attackers on the team. Here is the Darkseid team I've had the most success with:

U Darkseid
E Wasp
E Booster Gold
U Elektra
E Hydra Medic
R Harley Quinn

try using a unique desaad if you have one. i hate suggesting clix that people probably dont have (otherwise you would probably use/mention him) but i think its warranted if you REALLY wanna use darkseid
