Side choosing strategy?

How many of you start adjacent to, not across from, your opponent when you are Player 1? Also, on a scale of 1 to 10 how important is winning the roll to be player 1?

I actually prefer to go second, so I would give going first is about a 3 or 4.

i usually start on the side facing the opponent rather than next to him, i also don't care who goes first really, usually my teams are made so they work evenly well so i give it a 5 out of 10 because i just don't mind one way or another.
