I was out of town most of the time between Round 2 and 3 and had to do my dials the morning they were due. I have noticed most people thought the dials were boring. I think the thing that made it hard for me was remember I had to use scuplts for the set and find a way to make them better but remembering not to change them too much since Wizkids doesn't. So now that I have had time to look over my comics books and various other media... I have a come up with something I hope is better. I took it as a challenge after seeing the responses in the other thread. Not that this counts for anything but my pride. LOL
My list.
1) LE Bobby Drake - Sculpt - #001 Madrox repainted with sunglasses, a clear blue chest, and maybe clear blue hands encased like left hand of the #024 Gideon sculpt. Inspiration - X-Men Legends 2 alternate outfit showcase when Bobby couldn't fully revert to human form. Why? Cause we need an Iceman who can kick a little butt, and I want him to have a cool sculpt.
2) LE Scott Summers - Sculpt - #057 duo sculpt. Inspiration - SATURDAY MORNING CARTOONS!!!! I spent countless saturdays waiting for X-Men to come on. It was a vital part of my childhood and this sculpt is straight from that. Why? Cause it is the first Cyclops sculpt made in Heroclix that actually show an optic beam. Enough said. :)
3) LE Jean Grey - Same idea as Cyclops
Why? We need a new run of the mill Jean Grey. Not a Phoenix and the AofA Jean from MM is now retired.
4) LE Logan - Sculpt - Head from SR #053 on body of #009 repainted with a wifebeater, dog tags, jeans, and boots. Inspiration - Take your pick of X-Men movies... This is the Hugh Jackman look. OR Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 to quote Spidey.... "That guy scares me!" Why? We have finally gotten some Wolverine love in the last 2 sets, but most people will say they don't quite feel right. I was going to do a Weapon X but we are getting him in Cap. Plus the original Logan is still one of my favorite versions of the character.
5) LE Mr Sinister - Sculpt - This is hard and I think this is the about as far as Wikids would go.... Vulcan from #056 repainted in standard Mr. Sinister fashion. Remove Wall of energy/fire and modify cape. Why? Cause he needs a remake. He has been ignored in 1 fully themed X-Men/Agents of Apocalypse set and on partial mutant set. M&M. Give the guy his due.
Now for dials..... If I had to pick 2 I would go with either the Cyke/Jean cause of how much I love the cartoon. Or Iceman/Logan because I would have liked a chance to get them right. The hard thing is making a cheaper version of Wolverine that does not overshadow the common that was made. See the problem! Mr. Sinister would be left off because I am not super familiar with or fond of the character, but he is in desperate need of a remake. Since this doesn't count for anything... I did both. Dial time. :cool:

Bobby Drake is a dial from another thread of mine after taking in the suggestions. Logan. I wanted to make a Wolverine that would want to pick or take on piece stronger than him... But got some benefit from it. And I had to find a way to not make him stronger than the common Wolverine. So I lost the Exploit Weakness and the greatly overcosted healing factor trait. To balance his defensive special power I made it impossible for a player to use auto regen with him.
SO let me know what you guys think. Hopefully I redeemed some pride. LOL
