I admit I am new to the game, but do any of you feel that using two of the same figure in the same army is cheesy? For that matter, having one character in your army and the person or people you are playing against having the same character in theirs? This seems odd.

Most of the fun in playing this game, for me anyway, is recreating teams from the books. Sticking two versions of Captain America on a team seems to negate the fun of creating an Avengers team.

you know, i agree (i'm using this thread, so i don't have to dg up the other.)

I don't even OWN doubles of anyone, save generics. i have the REV's and that's the extent. i'm one of those guys who can't even put good guys and bad guys on the same team!! well Doombots can be reprogrammed....but other than that! :) I once did a 6 man game, two maps, and we decided no doubles, and no one could match another guy, to get away from that! it was fun, you had to make sacrifices for another guy for a good game. it was a real fun game.
