Custom Avatar issues?

I am encountering problems trying to upload a custom avatar. I made the donation. I shrunk the image to under the specs. And still it fails. Is this a known or ongoing issue, or am I doing something wrong?

I believe there is a problem uploading any kind of pics right now. It should be fixed soon.

Yeah there's a few people with this issue. It's been brought to typhon's attention so hopefully it'll be fixed soon.

Hey, it worked! Thanks, folks, and apparently I am also getting email notifications again, yay! Some double notifications, but that (plus my avatar) is better than nothing!
