Hey guys whats up.
I recently spoke to one of the guys at my comic shop, and he was kind enough to give me the list of cosmic justice, the DC expansion, which will be out sometime in june. Well we know this is wrong becuase there will be no GL sentinal in an expansion.

and a 95. Mailbox Plastic Man what the????

I would like most of this but if they did this. THere's really no one else left to have for another DC expansion.

Im sure he meant Sinstro where it says sentinal. This looks just like the list I saw here a couple weeks ago.... Mailbox is Plasticman taking the shape of a mailbox... go figure.

Oh and Im pretty sure the GL isnt going to be Hal... he is probably gonna be John Stewart like the mailaway... since they would have to do a new sculpt for a Hal figure ....

you got hosed my friend. Comic justice features a GL Jon Stewart as confirmed by comic shop news. This list has popped up several times and been debunked. The fact that the list is still floating around the these threads without being pulled is evident enough that it is false. Go shake your fist menacingly at the guy at your comic shop for getting your hopes up!

Some people on this board know me and trust me, so I'll abuse that recognition for a moment and let you know this list is junk. Its been debunked over in the DC area (where its been posted a dozen times).
I can't really accuse spitfire06 of anything other than gullibility for posting something that he got from his comic store, but if he bothered to check the DC FORUM first he would have seen that this is simply untrue.

Thanks.

Actually, Sentinal is the name now used by the Golden Age Green Lantern. So it would be more of a "Green Lantern: Alan Scott" than a "Green Lantern: Mutant Hunting Robot." So it's not a 'never' situation.

That said, to repeat what others have reported - this particular list has been de-bunked several times already.

Green Arrow, Martian Manhunter, Red Tornado, Metamorpho, Shazam and a Green Lantern or two!
A guy can dream can't he?

Is there any proof available to damage the integrity of this list? If there is, I want to see it.

It seem quite legit to me. Don't forget that DC would want to make a couple more expansions to fit in all their characters.

I can't completely confirm the list above, but I have seen an ad for the new expansion featuring five of the above mention figures...bizarro, penguin, wonder woman, green lantern (john stewart) and batgirl.

It makes me sad. A while ago I believe a member (phicks I think?) was posting what he thought would be a good second expansion for DC would be and asked if it looked good.

Now it pops up about once a week and everyone gets all excited. Trust me its fake. If it wasn't it would have removed like the list (pineapple for those in the know) that came out a while ago for Xplosion that turned out to be accurate.

So it comes down to who you want to believe. I'm not knocking anyone, and I won't post to this thread again cuz I just don't care if you want to keep arguing, but this ain't the real deal.
Live with it.

Weezer, here's some proof - Batgirl is a Unique, while the list has her as REV.

I got suckered by the list too, at first. It looks really really good, but then I saw the original post it came from. Look around at some of the other threads in the DC rumor mill, you'll find the "proof".

Wow not bad for a DC set, it'd make me consider buying it.

To my knowledge there is no known Delta Force in the DC Universe. Also Navy Seal? I think that may be copyrighted material. If there were to be a Navy Seal-like team there is a team called the Sea Devils that would work better. And in place of Delta Force there could be the Blackhawks.

Not that it really matters because the list is fake.

Ghost_Rider

Nice list. Only problem is, it is completely wrong. ;)

eshuroger
03/19/2003, 14:34
It has no medics, which by itself should tell anyone it's fake.

DC also has no need to resort to generics like "Navy Seals" and "Delta Force". It's more likely to have "Cadmus Scientist", "DEO Agent", "Kobra Soldier" and the like.

I think that a Captain Marvel Heroclix will probably NOT be called "Shazam". The licensing restrictions which disallow DC to use his name on the cover of a comic hasn't extended to his use as an action figure, after all.

freakazoid_x
03/19/2003, 14:38
I can provide about 85% proof positive this list is junk. Look at the 5 new DC figures posted today.

Focus on the Batgirl

Focus on her ring.

It's Silver.

There is no mention of a Unique Batgirl on this list.

Therefore with 85% certainty I can say this list is a fake.

Also I can't imagine Bizarro being anything but U. The current version hasn't been around in the new continuity long enough to warrent REV status.

03/19/2003, 14:42
Personally, I'm glad the list is fake since there are no members of the Legion of Super-Heroes included! I can't believe that Wiz Kids would tease us by introducing the LSH team ability in the first set and then not letting us see any Legionnaires until the third set. I'm anxious to see Cosmic Boy, Saturn Girl, Live Wire and the rest as soon as possible! Here's hoping they are included in the next set!

Ghost_Rider
03/19/2003, 14:54
Well, I'm 100% that this list is fake. Besides, I know most of these characters. In Hypertime, there were many I never heard of and its going to be the same thing in Cosmic Justice.

What DC generics would you like to see?

How about a Science Police Officer and Medic (with the Legion team Ability)?

freakazoid_x
03/19/2003, 15:15
Lex Luthor has some generic troops he just keeps around. So we could get a cheap-o trooper and medic out of that. Because Lex doesn't use them for Evil you could give them the Supes Ally ability. Lex is weird too, sometimes he helps big blue and sometimes he doesn't. I say if they make him give the R and E the enemy ability and the V the ally ability.

Ok, first Batgirl is a U...saw the pic. Second, Wonder Woman has a AE. :) Third, I don't think they are going to be giving us a ton of lanterns.

ca551u5
03/27/2003, 21:48
That list strikes this fellow as junk too. Where's the Wonder Woman Arch-Enemy? (Smeg, forgotten the name!) And I don't think there's going ot be that many lanterns. I'm hoping for the REVs to be different sculpts, kind like the CT Invisible Woman.

Oh, and GIVE US NERO! Or better yet, Parallax!

It's also almost a given that the set is going to focus on JLA and Titans figs. I only see 2 Titans on that list? And they'd probably call the character "Kid Flash" instead of Impulse. Although they could just change the name for one of the versions like they did for Boom-Boom and Invisible Girl. Plus it's been mentioned that Brother Blood (Titans villian) is most likely in the set (according to the info in the Previews catalog) and he's not listed on that set either.

Plus there are zero Legion characters and there's no way they're going to have 2 DC sets and STILL no Legion characters to use that team ability. At LEAST the founding 3 will most likely be in the set.

As much as I liked 'ol Guy Gardner, I really don't think that will happen. He's essentially in limbo now, isn't he? No one has used him in a few years. Contemporary relevance to the DC Universe seems to be a prerquisite to becoming a clix.

I'm not sure I'm remembering this right, but awhile back Guy showed up in a Superman comic...sorta.

He wasn't human anymore, and was controlling Kancer, and he and Superman had words, and then Supes flew off and left Guy in his demonic form.

Must read back issues now....

Guy Gardner "warrior" was killed during Our Worlds At War. During the numerous battles a rift was opened up to a version of hell where Guy's spirit took control of, sort of. Superman went to investigate this rift when it appeared in General Zod's country Pokolstan (or something like that) and kancer an offspring of Supes DNA mutated with kryptonite went to check it out as well. After a three way battle between Supes Guy Gardner and Kancer someone had to sacrifice themselves to close the rift. Kancer feeling rejected from supes sacrificed himself and in doing so redeemed Guy, Guy reverted back to his normal self (if you can call him normal) as he was no longer in control of the Rift and Supermen flew off disgusted knowing that he had been used.

04/11/2003, 18:08
Alan Scott may show up as a unique but I wouldn't bet on him showing up in this set. Also in the current storyline in JSA he had the Starheart ripped from him by Mordru. He will probaly live but be seriously depowered or they may let him go into that goodnight. At the end of this story I see Dr. Fate taking a leave of abscence and quite possibly Alan Scott as well. Supposedly he is the most powerful member of the JSA right now but he seems to be the first one to go down every time a big bad villian comes around!!!! As much as I like Alan Scott they may let him go to get another GL in the ranks, maybe his daughter Jade.

GreenLantern73
04/12/2003, 11:33
In the new Green Arrow (part 1 of a crossover with Green Lantern), there is a blurb on the backpage about a NEW Outsiders title with Nightwing, Arsenal, Metamorpho & Jade plus some new characters.

waaagh1, what issue does Guy Gardner die in & what issue is he resurrected in??

One would think tha tthe next set would have at least one Legion of Superhero member.. so I'll wait till a spoiler list comes out which includes one.

If Guy Gardner shows up in DC Heroclix, I'm hoping its as Warrior. I last saw him in GL when Nero first appeared (While Rome Burned: Part 4) alongside the JLA. I don't read much Suipes, so waaagh1's probably right. I just want much GL goodness...

The Guy story in recent Superman comics is in Action 789 & 790. I too would like to see Guy as a Hero clix.

Sculpt as Warrior
R - powers like GL
E - Yellow Ring days
V - is for Vuldarian

If this list were real they would have to rename the set Gotham streets, or Crime Alley, or some such thing. Two GL's and a Martian do not a Cosmic Justice make. :p

Sinestro isn't Qwaardian. He'sfrom the planet Korugar. The Qwaardians made his ring which Guy did use later.

Yeah sorry, you're wrong. Sinestro is a Korugarian.

Sinestro's ring was constructed by the Qwardian Weaponers exploiting the Green Lantern's only weakness, the colour yellow.

Hal Jordan snapped Sinestro's neck in combat in single combat. Guy Gardener took the yellow power ring from Sinestro's corpse while he was part of the JLA.

O.K. O.K.
