So long as the dials are good, I don't think anyone will care about such a short-term delay. I know I won't.

Can we at least have the dials spoiled since we have to wait longer?

Well if the international players like me still get it at the normal time, the dials will be spoiled. :)
OMG Seriously !!!! This will end Heroclix WTH!!!

Here is something kinda weird - and I kid you not, I've had on my calendar for at least 2 months that the Cap Gravity Feed was going to be released on June 29th.
When was the formerly correct date that is no longer the correct date? How off was I (or should I say how ON was I)?

That would be the unforeseen circumstance mentioned. WizKids has been sending you emails for weeks to get you to fix your calendar, but now the shipment date is stuck where you set it.
But hey, what did you expect when you bought your calendar from the estate of Edgar Cayce? You can make it up to all of us by putting a memo on your calendar - "Booster MSRP $.99".
No sweat on the delay of Gravity Feed figures. I'm excited to get them, but the delay of product that isn't specifically tied to sealed events (or the start of an event cycle) is not Earth-shattering.
The heads-up is appreciated...as is the chance to buy them at local comic shops.

It is, they are refering to the smaller GF, not the July Set.
To the OP, this should not come as a surprise as Comical told us about the JUne 29th date weeks ago.

Of course on my gf's birthday....So now instead of opening boosters, I have to go see a crappy chick flick and have dinner at some nice restaurant.
I was pleased when you move the regular set away from her birthday, but now you do this to me!
I may never buy another heroclix product again especially after getting 4 gf boosters and pulling all dupes when I only own 5 figs of the dang set lol. It wasn't even the good ones!

Hmmm. While I think NECA has been smart to push so much product, it is, more often than not, a few weeks late. I don't have a problem waiting...
But NECA REALLLLY needs to include some rulebooks and PACS in their products more often. Newer players are having a difficult time maneuvering the clix websites for Downloadable stuff.
This is the set with the Gravity Feed and a regular good ol' fashioned case with boosters holding five pre-painted miniatures right? Sooooo....no biggie. Unless THAT gets delayed as well.... DUM DUM DUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUM (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8of00uEVRRA).
Not suprising with any set containing the Red Skull. (http://www.hcrealms.com/forum/picture.php?albumid=1401&pictureid=16546) North America indeed.

My local Target stores and my local TRU stores, which are on the Magic Willy Wonka Wizkids list, still haven't gotten either...
Firstly, the TRU list was supplied by TRU, how is WK responsible for that?
Secondly, seems that once the product is in the hands of Target and/or TRU, that WK's responsibility has been met.
If you have an issue with either of these, I suggest you take it up with TRU and Target, rather than being passive-aggressive on a fansite. :cheeky:

Companies need to be responsible for their actions and not pass the buck onto somebody else... Wizkids/NECA is no exception, and they know that.
If Wizkids/NECA choose to enter into a business relationship with mass retail stores without any control over how things were handled once those stores got the merchandise, then they are responsible for that decision and need to be accountable for it.
No one really cares about the mistakes and the continued delays. We all still love Wizkids/NECA and the products they put out, but your continued excuses and flimsy justifications for every single thing they do wrong is getting pretty old... :tired:
I don't know why, at this stage, you don't just accept that there will be legitimate gripes against Wizkids' poor planning and mistakes, aside from the usual fanboy whining.
Instead you jump down anyone's throat when they present any type of opinion that even smells like a Wizkids complaint.
When you have the nerve to say that the TRU Colossals and Green Lantern Gravity feeds were timely released, and in the next post you try to excuse the fact that they were not timely released by saying it's not Wizkids' fault, it just makes you come off as if you're wearing blinders.
Your insistence of defending every single wizkids' action and your propaganda of belief that they can do no wrong is getting tiresome.
I could be mistaken, but I think I had sent you a PM over a year or two ago about being such a huge and vocal Wizkids apologist and coming off as their #1 lackey, and you haven't changed one bit. Can you please knock off the excuse-machine cranking for Wizkids' blunders and mistakes?
Thanks, it's much appreciated.

How do you propose this be done? Should WK stock the shelves too? :cheeky:

And here's where the issue lies and, IMHO, is not WKs fault.
I've been into my local Target off and on for the past month and have gotten *ZERO* GLGF boosters for my trouble. It's not that they are sold out, it's that they've never been STOCKED (or possibly even ordered).
Considering Target has an outside vendor handling this type of stuff, I'm a bit astounded that people can complain that the delay for this set was on WK's head.
The TRU stuff?? I can be a bit more lenient on the masses on this one. If WK made a deal with TRU and set a release date, they might have wanted to discuss how long it would take the product to get thru TRUs distribution system to make sure it was in stores for the release.
Considering this was the first foray into mass market HC stuff for WK/NECA, I hope they learned a little about making it a less bumpy road should it be done again in the future.

Hey Wizkids.. heres a suggestion. Announce the Superman release date to actually be 1 month later than you expect it to be completed and shipped! That way when it gets delayed like we all know it will be. You'll have a month buffer zone and you can tell everyone its arrived earlier than expected! I don't mind either way. However, I would like to know why every set is always delayed. We're starting to make a pool to see who can guess when the product will be released and as of yet, no one has picked the actual announced released day. haha! So, its obvious the delay isn't because you guys are making more product since every set keeps selling out.

Sorry, I've been out of the loop a bit, but I presume the clix in these GFs will be unique sculpts and dials right? Or will they be a subset of the full Captain America release which hits in July?

Apparently the Australia distributor is staffed by morons. When my venue owner rang them they told him that Neca are full of it because the Captain America set doesn't come out until mid-July. :tired::confused:

If it makes you feel any better Wakandaman, I had a momemt like that yesterday while contacting one of the local stores just to make sure we're not getting the GF today...........
TA: Hi, I have a question about heroclix.
Store: Ok, go ahead.
TA: The Captain Amerrica Gravity feed, the single figure boosters, do you know when you'll be getting it in?
Store: Let me ask.......:talks to someone:.........July 18.
TA:.......are you sure? I'm not asking about the set, I'm asking about the Gravity Feed. It should either be tomorrow or next week.
Store: Oh.............:talks to someone: ..............probably next week then.
TA: .............thanks for your help.
My favorite part was where they couldn't be bothered to actually check............but desided to go with one of the two choices I suggested as possible answers. :tired:
Glad I called. :ermm:

Really?
I've never (well rarely.....maybe 10% of the time, except for the elderly who are generally framiliar with all of the Qs) gotten helpful responses to 'can you describe the pain'...........I ask first anyway but I always have to list the choices.....is it stabing, is it moving(I try to avoid radiating as people seem to key on that word for no reason at all* :p), does if feel like pressure.......ect...........tends to help with the on-scene time.
Now that you mention it though, treating retail folk as patients, I might want to try the 'authority voice' next time I am assaulted with that type of sillyness.
Thanks Munchoboy, I'll give that a try.
* It occured to me to ask once after someone told me they had 9/10 radiating shoulder pain and couldn't breath while lying on their back and talking in full sentences (you can see where this is going already ;)) to ask the patient what they meant by radiating? They had no idea and they seemed to get batter immediatly............funny that. :cheeky:
