View Full Version : Gamestop gives Cosimc Justice Release date

I work at Gamestop, and I've been keeping an eye on our system for a date fo Indy Clix or Cosmic Justice. Finally, a day or two ago, CJ got added. The date we have is June 2nd. Just figured I'd let everyone know.

Sorry, but I wouldnt get too excited yet... I worked for Gamestop (babbeges, software etc) for a while (infact I have a lawsuit pending against them) and I know for sure their dates arent set in stone. They do have a strange tendancy of changing suddenly.

They rely on information that is given to them by there distributers (like most people).... so a gamestop computer is not all that relaible info to me at this date.

I would much more trust this information if it was supported by another distributer... Its not just incase you were wondering.....

My guess is it will be middle to late June for Cosmic Justice and Middle July for Indy.... although I wouldnt be suprised to see an early June for CJ and late July for Indy, but that is unlikely as every other set has been a mid-late month release.

Why do you sue Gamestop? What odd story goes with that bit of info???

Don't these expansions usually get a wednesday release date? June 2 is a Monday.

Our Gamestop doesn't know a thing about video games let alone clix.

they might be realeased on monday but get shipped on wednesday

We should know the release of CJ soon. Previews for June will be out this week and will give a early/mid/late June release at this time (assuming there are no more Dock Strikes like last summer)

While I may be alone, I hope Cosmic Justice doesn't come out until July or even August! I need more time between sets. My wallet can't take two sets coming in only two months apart! It broke me last time, and I don't want that to happen again.

i too work for a Gamestop. In theory babbages/software etc/gamestop has the cheapest prices I'v seen on starters sets at 14.99 while the premiere sets go for $19.99. Heck even the Sentinels were clearanced at $9.99. Sinestro is already delisted in our system. At our store the older boosters of Mechwarrior are delisted as well. I love brigging my doubles to work.................
