Greetings HeroClix fans!
Today we bring you that most rouguish of mercenaries, the proud son of Marseille, the master of the French-kickboxing martial art known as savate; Batroc!

At a mere 52 points, Batroc makes an excellent addition to your teams as a secondary attacker and “harassment” piece. Batroc’s “Leeping” Kick special power enables him to move with impunity (via Leap/Climb) and make a close combat attack once he’s concluded his “leeping”!

Wow!!!finally, one of Cap's more colorful and fun enemy has finally come to clix life!!! Gotta have this..now i wonder if they'll have Zaran and Machete in this expansion so as to make the Batroc's brigade a reality???

No complaints from me. It's a nice representation at an attractive point cost. I was apprehensive we'd get a joke version designed by someone who came at it with the perspective that he's a perennial B- to C-lister. Instead, we get one I'll not only want to field, but which I'll want to hold onto extras of because I'm sure it'll fit several characters as a dial for mods.
I'm sure I'll find someone to lend him a touch of Perplex for that Damage and/or to Outwit a damage-reducer at the right time. So, as I said, no complaints from me.

Great for the points, but no CCE of any kind or at least a starting click of 3 damage? Again, not complaining, just think one of the two would have sent this piece to planet devastating

I am in nearly the same boat Bossy is in. Red Skull is my main want so far, Baron and MODOK are up there, though. Hell, I even want Squirrel Girl for mastermind fodder to make Strucker even more devastating. Run, Monkey Joe! Run to your death!
If I could, I would mod the Monkey Joe pog so he has a little more green and yellow on him.

As for the SRs, yeah, I'm in the same boat as I know that aside from fantastic luck (which thusfar has eluded me) even the two cases I have coming are likely to leave me shy of a couple SRs I want, very likely with doubles of pieces that will not be 1:1 trades for the ones that are missing. I'm not making fun of KO, it's just that he was the first one to come to mind when the question was posed.

After all the hype for this guy, it's nice to finally see what we've got coming. I think he looks great, and as far as Batroc goes, seems to be pretty fair for the character. Low points, 6 clicks of Ok'ness, not bad. I like the "Leeping Kick" SP. And the fact that he is an uncommon is fantastic. I can't count how many times I've seen a thread where someone says they want this guy. Looks good to me.... :)

Really? You want 3 damage on top of his full 9 move&attack, L/C, 10AV, and 17DV + Cr? All for 52pts?
I know somebody who loves their broken game pieces. :laugh:

Ditto. Batroc's French speaking is usually atrocious, so it's fair (and quite comic-accurate if you ask me).

He's a very nice secondary Close Combat attacker; main problem I see with him is he'll be picked-off easily by any decent ranged combat attackers. Anybody with RCE will make quick work of Batroc if you ask me.

Actually Strucker was on Wednesday. The Friday puppet master is Nick Fury, who was previewed with a Howling Commando.
Like this guy, pretty decent. More excited for Diamondback though.
Very pleased with this. He's been on my want list since the first set. Now if we can only get buzzsaw gauntlet Gladiator.

Yeah, I am only getting a brick to start off with, as that is all I can afford in my current financial situation. Hopefully I will get a better job by the time Superman is released. After that I will probably trade for what I need and go through the secondary market.
Here's hoping I at least get Red Skull, Strucker and Squirrel Girl.

Actually I think he will be ok with the Leaping Kick power -- Hide behind something or somebody leap an entire 9 spaces -- attack!! -- base that RCE and defend with your CCR !
I would give him vault (it's so right for him)... and allows him to reposition after the above described attack for some protection from snipe attacks.
Lunge might be nice as well --wonder if it will work with his leaping kick

It's getting difficult these days for me to name characters that haven't been clixed yet. Batroc is one of the looooooong outstanding minor gaps.
