First off, I would like to thank thugit for putting out the challenge to start a KO thread like the legendary one of Bane. And then giving me the blessing to make one of my own. If I can be be half as creative as he has been, then I will be happy. If you haven't checked out his thread, you are missing some great stuff. Also, I hope you all enjoy this and I can get you interested in it.

Now the hard part. Which figure should I choose? I wanted someone that was fun, interesting, diversely keyworded, and actually capable of KOing opposing figures.

Domino? Like her powers, good keywords, but not entertaining. Noh Varr? Love his Running Shot and Range, but no, he is Mr. Cranberry's signature figure and I loathe him because of it. Deadshot? Good damage and entertaining. But really only close by name.

So I decided to combine them and what I got was a 158pt package named Deadpool!!

For God's sake, you store me in the same box as all of those lame, ring totin', every color costume of the rainbow lanterns. Most of them are alien, and I hate aliens thanks to Secret Invasion. Them with their buggy eyes and starry smell.

For crying out loud Wade, you were the one that got all jealous because they had their own case. And you insisted you belonged there because your Corp were better than any of theirs.

All right here we go. Tomorrow night at Heroes and Games, Deadpool will make his appearance. Rules are, build a 400pt Golden Age team. Then buy a single pack of figures to increase the build to 600. Boosters known available are GSX, Web of Spider-Man, and Brave and the Bold.

I'm aware, but he also specifically said he doesn't want to use feats. The idea, while helpful, wasn't within the boundaries set by CP.

Great idea with the ata. That is always a nice deal for the points.

As for the feats, like masterprotoss23 says, I am trying to do it without feats. Make it a bit more interesting, and challenging. There was a time when I would use them as my crutch....just check out mys screen name..., so I am trying to shy away from it as much as possible.

Will have a write up of my Origin experience tonight, as soon as I get a chance.

Origin was an absolute great time. Got there early and ended up playing in 4 battle royals, winning 3 of them. Also ended up pulling SR Phoenix in GSX and SR Ares in DC75.

However, neither Mr. Cranberry(who scored a date) nor I was able to make it to Heroes and Games. I ended up having to leave because of an emergency.

Emergency? Your wife called and said she was going to break your figures if you didn't come home pronto. Don't try to sugar coat the fact that you are whooped.

What would you have had me do Wade? I didn't want to see any of my figures broken. How would I have played then?

I was in your bag at Origin. Could give a care less what happened to the less fortunate. If you get my drift. As long as old Wade was safe....

Whatever. But this week I have been able to score two games against a good friend of mine. The first game was 400pts. So I used my X-Force team of Wade, Domino, Cable, and Pete Wisdom.

His team was Cyclops, Nightcrawler, Emma Frost, and Professor X. Now I was really nervous about Nightcrawler and a kill box scenario. So...

Man, you suck at telling stories. Look guys, here is how it went down. CP decided that he was going to count like he was in 1st grade and put me right where that stupid blue elf could reach me. So what had happened was Elfie hits me and I roll a 5 only taking 1 damage. Yet he whisks me away to the wrong side of the freaking map!! Weeeeeeee!

Luckily Cyclops missed twice including a theme prob. So my friend uses NC to take a shot with Professor X. Lands the blow, but my good buddy Wade here rolls a 6 for his Regen!! Back to full health.

So there I was. All alone in the midst of Armageddon! No one there to save me but myself. So I Perplexed up my damage and smacked that stupid grinning elf out of his hindering for 4 and back toward my boy Cable. Good night Charlotte. Tell Momma Mystique we are so sorry for sending her baby back as a pile of goo.

So the rest of my team started making it across the field and tied people up so I could go after ol' Special X. Outwit doesn't do too much against a 12 attack. Eat that first KO on my list!

Game was pretty much over after that. Pool ended up KOing both Professor X and Emma Frost. Cable got Nightcrawler, while Domino took out Cyke. Lost no one from X-Force.

That's right fools! Don't mess with the Shiz......nit.

Second game was set at 600. My friend went with Green Lantern Corp. Refused to use Hal, because he didn't want to be the first to be added to the list.

His team ended up being Kyle Rayner(75), John Stewart(75), Guy Gardner(75), Boodikka(GLGF), R'Amey Holl(GLGF), Tomar Re(GLGF), and Salaak(GLGF).

I decided to have fun and practice a team I am going to play against Cranberry. Deadpool and the Spidey Enemies. Deadpool, Venom(WoS), Doctor Octopus(SI), Green Goblin(WoS), Mysterio(WoS), Vet Shocker, and Exp. Hydra Technician(Sinister and Bob proxy).

I don't want to talk about it. I'm done with this one.

Match wasn't a total loss. Guy Gardner didn't make it across the board unscathed, so Deadpool was able to take him out. He also managed to take Tomar Re out thanks to some unsuspecting damage from Mysterio. My whole team fell. Deadpool was taken out by R'Amey Holl.

Embarrassing. Still not listening. Forget it, never happened. I didn't get beat by a girl, let alone a butterfly chick. Going to bed....

Don't forget that Bane travels with his regular crew of lackeys.

Ok, now that CP is in bed, I can run down a tourney for ya. Well CP and his buddy have decided to put theme names into a hat and draw them out. His buddy can build an entire team around that theme, while I get stuck on some theme from random world....

We are going to call it DEADPOOL TEAM UPs.

Anyhoo, last night his buddy pulls JLA and builds 500pts. Picks DC75th Barry Allen....lame. HSS and he isn't the red headed one. That guy makes me chuckle. Next he grabs DC75 Wonder Woman and Aquaman. A chick with bracelets and a guy that tries to mate with Shamu. Then he grabs the uber cheater piece, OoTS Batman. For those of you that don't know. Bruce Wayne is a chump. Always sneak attacking people from a tree or inside a gumball machine. Finally he grabs some magic dame named Zatanna.

So CP draws and pulls.....GREAT FREAKING 10! Really? Was Female Furies unavailable? And that Chang Tzu thing really creeps me out. What is he? An Ostrich Egg? A giant boil? It's like playing with a Pokemon on your side. Go Executor!!

Then I find it hard to mac on Ghost Fox Killer. She won't talk to me. Just gives me an icy stare....burrr.... And Accomplished Perfect Physician and August General in Iron have the lamest names ever. So for the rest of this story, to fit in, I am going to be called Bright Ignition Totally Environmentally Master Ego. B.I.T.E.M.E. for short.

The fight all starts and I notice I need to stick near that Egg dude. His double Perplex added to my own made me untouchable. Batman even tried outwitting mine, to no avail. Plus when I needed it, the perplexes gave me just enough move on my Running Shot to tag that stupid red blur.

So my team starts falling like everyone on here knew they were. I took out the two ladies, first the magician then the princess. And it came down to Fast Eddie and Trust Fund Tommy against me and the creepy egg. That double perplex came in handy again and I was able to finish off Barry. Then I plugged my iPod into him and started downloading some apps. That sucker has some stored up energy. Let me tell ya.

Finally Batsy Crit missed on an Out of the Shadow attack on Roboegg. That ugly little sucker took out the Bat. Shows how lame Arkham really is.

Off to my next match. Hope I get another great pull. Serpent Society here I come.....Snakes in a Pool......jerks.

Ok, here goes. So I ended up going with the second team, as I left my extra Domino sitting in a box at home.

Charles always builds these fun teams to go against. Though my team didn't think it was very fun. Lost Wolfsbane and Archangel really early thanks to Nightshade's Smoke Cloud power. Wade fought for his life, but ended up on the wrong end of a Mindless One's range attack. He ended up dropping two of the Nightshades.

Game 1: 2 KOs. Two rolls of 6 on trait.

FINALLY!! Someone brought the chicks to the party! WOO HOO!! Was it my birthday? Bunch of dancers backed up by the Naughty Librarian. I was in heaven.

So starting off, I had Archangel fly to the top of a building so Wade could try for the Gem. And next turn, BOOOM!! Roll a 5.

He won't let me have it back now. I tried getting it back to play in the third game and then again to take home. But he just kept trying to bite me.

Stupid Hobbits's think they can take my precious away from me. No. It is mine...ALL MINE!!!

Sure thing, Larfleeze....So, not to be one up'd, my opponent rolls a 6 for Phillipus grabbing Mjolnir. Great.... The Amazons start storming over to my side. Once again, Archangel and Wolfsbane are taken out quickly. Leaving Wade and Domino atop a building. The Amazons surround Wade and start swinging. One would hit, I would roll a 5, taking one. Then the next would hit...6. Heal right back up. Rinse and repeat, it seemed. With popshots from Domino, the Amazons started falling.

Man, that sucked. I was all happy being the center of the attention. Then one dumb broad had to tag me with her spear... And BOOM went the dynamite. Blood was everywhere, Alfred Hitchcock be damned.

One after one, they went down. Leaving Pool and Domino to deal with Diana.

She was all, "Please, Wade...you are so masculine. What could I ever do to make you love me? And I'm all, "Babe, I could never love you. Books suck. And down she goes......(that's what she said!!)

Game 2: Deadpool 6 KOs. 4 rolls of six on Regen trait.

Those Easy Company guys are brutal with Sgt Rock and their special power. I tried my best to tie guys up with Archangel and Wolfsbane once again. But badseed was rolling out of his mind. An Easy Company Soldier even Crit Hit Deadpool...

Never happened. Here I was, a few days removed from Independence Day, supporting our troops by saluting them. Then one dill rod decides to take a shot at me. Rat @*#^&*$ nearly knocked me off the building too. Jerk.

After that it was all but over. Deadpool ended up getting two more KOs from Easy Company, but in the end, ended up falling to Cap.

Next time, forget the saluting. I will salute them when they are 6 ft under.

You don't kill people in Heroclix, Wade. You KO them.

Just a quick update on a game my buddy and me played last night. Have to run to work, but wanted to get this up. He has been sore that Wade took out his JLA, so he has been bugging me to have an all out war. He decided the point total would be 1300pts and he would run an Avengers(I let him fudge some figures in because he wanted to use them) type team. Told me to bring the best X-force team I could. Six actions per turn.

Started out by Tking Wade to the Gem and rolled a 5. Then used the Stealthy figures to build a sort of barricade around him.

His first turn, he carries Cap with Thor to the Hammer. Next turn..6. Great, Cap with a Hammer before the new set even releases. A lot of positioning happens as he is trying to find a spot through my Stealth.

Finally I left an opening to Deadpool as I tried to tie up Thor with Caliban. He rolls a break away and targets Wade. Hits for 5 and I roll a 1 on my Regen trait. Super, 6 clicks. Luckily for me, he couldn't get another character in position to take a shot.

Next turn I TK Elixir over. Use Regen, roll a 5. Then heal back up with Elixir, crisis averted. I start taking pop shots and send the lower characters over to tie up the big guns. Pete, Caliban, and Archangel fall quickly.

He pushes Cap to take a shot at Wade, rolls a 3. Next turn, Tabitha shows her worth by placing a bomb under him. I take a quick shot on Beast and tie up Nick Fury to stop his Outwit.

I finally get Thor to his final click. Next turn he tries to punch X23 using Indomitable. Crit Miss and he is off the board. My attention goes straight to Cap. Wolfsbane did her job well at tying him up while I got in position to hammer him. Wade deals the damage and down goes Cap.

He continued to focus on Wade, but thanks to Prob and Elixir, failed in his attempt at taking him down.

After Cap and Thor fell, it was time to take down Tony. He smoked my Warpath and Shatterstar, but ended up falling to X23 and LE Deadpool. Same with his Wolverine.

Every turn, characters starting falling off the board. Wolverine, Psylocke, Black Widow, Bucky Cap...

I end up wiping his team and have only Wade, Domino, and X23 left.

Opponent wins map roll and goes first. He brings his team part way across the field and turn is over. So Doorman phases and carries Hawkeye to right side by airplane. Pool stops to left of plane and Bob runs to block LOF with Special Power. Squirrely goes and hides in hindering. A bit of positioning goes on. Doorman makes a door through a plane for Hawkeye to rush through and shoot. Pool takes a quick shot at Phobos, but misses.

No....Fat Fingers here failed.

Whoever...so Bob runs to block LOF again. Opponent runs in with Phobos with Blades. Hits Wade and rolls a 6, but I luckily roll a 5 for Regen. Follows up with Stonewall on a push, miss.

By this time, Monkey Joe is in the battle and rushes to tie up people and so does Mr. Immortal. Eventually Slingshot takes out Immortal and Quake drops Joe. Next Squirrel comes out. And Immortal starts healing.

Hawkeye falls quickly, so Doorman is the next tie up piece. Wade starts slicing through his opponents with RCE. Slingshot 1 is dropped in a hurry, and Quake soon follows. Stonewall is slowly widdled away by Doorman who hits his Super Senses when needed.

Pool gets his Senses Outwitted by Fury, but the ensuing hit only does one thanks to a roll of 4, putting him back on Running Shot, Super Senses, and Prob.

One bad, fly mama jamma!!

Mr. Wade is unstoppable. Thank heaven we have him on our side...

With Fury out in the open, Wade makes quick work with him. Phobos drops Doorman. Slingshot is back trying to get ahold of Squirrely when Immortal comes back and goes to help. Eventually Wade knocks her off her special power and Immortal goes to work. Stonewall falls to Squirrel Girl as opponent under-rated her. Exploit eats a dials up quickly. Fight comes down to Wade, Bob, Immortal, and Squirrel Girl against an injured Slingshot. Finally after all that, Immortal takes her down!!

Same basic start. This time Hawkeye gets through and tags Red Guardian early. Dynamo quickly puts all effort towards him. First attack nails him, but Bob uses his Prob and Dynamo Crit Misses. I follow up with a Perplex Damage'd Deadpool and tag him for 2 more after Invulnerability. And then run up both Monkey Joe and Doorman to tie him up. Immortal goes and ties up Red Guardian. Ursa takes down Hawkeye....lame.

Get that poor excuse for Oliver Queen off my team!! He sucks worse than Bob while making money for his cable bill.

I'm broke, we talked about this. Gotta do, what a poor deadbeat merc has to do.

So as you can tell, Wade and Squirrel Girl start taking down the hairy beast with Wade KOing him. Dynamo couldn't get a breakaway to save his life and ended up falling to Wade too. Doorman went to work tieing up Darkstar. She took him out but was soon dropped by Wade too.

That left a damaged Red Guardian against most my team. He was damaged again by Squirrel Girl, but when she pushed to finish him...she missed. Leaving Mr. Immortal there to clean up. His second KO of the evening!!

Took my time with the start. Tried staying out of MODOK's range, until I could make first strike. Bob's Special Power was key with this.

So I had so much attention on MODOK, that I forgot Klaw had running shot too. He gets LOF on Wade and takes the shot. Crit Hit. Fortunately my dice were hot and I rolled a 4 again, only taking 1.

He then used Running shot with MODOK to take a shot at Hawkeye. Misses, uses theme team prob from only Adaptoid that can see him, misses. Pushed Adaptoid for another Theme team prob...Crit Miss. Batroc goes across the board after Squirrel Girl. While I send Immortal to help. I push Deadpool to finish off MODOK, and get onto his sweet click.

Batroc cannot stand up to Doorman and Squirrel Girl. They wear him down and once again, Immortal gets a Crit Hit to finish him off!!!

Klaw gets tied up by Monkey Joe. While Wade starts getting hits in. Klaw falls quick leaving the two Adaptoids. Apparently I underestimated them. They teamed up to take down both Doorman and Hawkeye. So I rush in Bob, Immortal, and Squirrel Girl and leave Wade back to use Prob.

Squirrel Girl knocks them past their Toughness. Thank you Exploit!! And after two failed attacks by Monkey Joe(one being a push) both Immortal and Bob finish them off!!

Doorman is a perfect representation for what he does in comics. Hence the name. What DeMarr Davis lacks in power, he makes up in utility.

He has Phasing and the Carry ability throughout his dial. Which makes him the perfect taxi for your team mates. Especially useful with that opening 11 move...9 while carrying.

However, he has a decent starting defense and 5 clicks of Super Senses, followed by regen. Therefore he can also double as a pretty solid tie up piece for only 45pts. His 1 damage isn't going to do much in terms of offense. So tie up is the best option.

His special power is where the money is at. Four clicks of door opening goodness. He can be used perfectly on the new map(only map I have used him so far). Nothing like opening a door through the blocking terrain near the planes, and then having a team mate jump through with a Running Shot or such.

All in all, he isn't going to win you games with his frontal assault. However, the help he gives his team mates can.

Trait: Dying is what I do best! When Mr. Immortal is KO'ed, instead of being defeated, remove him from the map, place a specail terrain marker in the square he occupied and turn his dial to click #9. Now if you haven't played Mr. Immortal yet, your probably looking at his dial and laughing hysterically. Let's face it, those numbers are quite entertaining to say the least.

He maxes out at a whopping 1 damage.....throughout his dial. His Defense tops out at 16...or a 15 with Combat Reflexes. Scary isn't it?

However, he has his uses. And for 46pts, his uses are quite fun. Mr. Immortal is nothing more than a tie up piece that completely infuriates your opponent. I have seen it personally on numerous occasions. I have had him knocked out 4 times in a single game, only for him to come back when time was called. Opponent knocked him out 4 times and got a whopping 0 pts for it!! Awesome.

The key to his fun though is his late dial(3 clicks worth) of regeneration. Opponent is tied up, knocks you down to regen, doesn't finish you off....and poof, you roll and Regen him back up. Or when you are knocked out, when he heals enough to return...right onto regen that turn and heal back up.

I have found that opponents aren't scared of his dial, so they usually ignore him. Which plays right into the way I want to use him. Go ahead and ignore him, he will just sneak around and tie up your big hitter, causing you to use actions to free him up. Fine by me.

The only wish I had is that he didn't have the second trait where Mastermind cannot be used on him. Then again, it would have probably made him entirely broken.

So, there are quite a few figures better costed at around his points. Pretty much any figure will have better stats. But none are nearly as fun as Mr. Immortal.

When I first saw Squirrel Girl's dial, I had no idea what to expect. The removable Monkey Joe seemed like a good idea, but how would it be in an actual game?

Now that I have played a few games with her, she is an invaluable piece to the GLA...or even just my collection in general. Five clicks of Combat Reflexes helps her defense in a huge way. Especially right off the bat when she starts with Stealth. It causes an opponent to base her and get the best use out of those Combat Reflexes of hers.

After Stealth, she gains Leap Climb, to help her get base to base with opponents. End dial she can surprise you with Blades, Claws, and Fangs. Giving her the potential to do 6 damage. On a 59pt figure, that isn't half bad.

And then there is Monkey Joe. A 0pt tie up piece that has Leap Climb and Super Senses....for 0pts!! Did I mention that he was 0pts? And effectively gives you two tie up pieces for the price of one?

But the big thing that will win you games with her, is her 3 clicks of Exploit Weakness. I cannot express enough how important that power is, especially if you are not packing Outwit. She eats through damage reducers with relative ease.

For the record, she is the best 59pts I have ever spent in Heroclix.

Opponent wins map roll and goes first. He brings his team part way across the field and turn is over. So Doorman phases and carries Hawkeye to right side by airplane. Pool stops to left of plane and Bob runs to block LOF with Special Power. Squirrely goes and hides in hindering. A bit of positioning goes on. Doorman makes a door through a plane for Hawkeye to rush through and shoot. Pool takes a quick shot at Phobos, but misses.

No....Fat Fingers here failed.

Whoever...so Bob runs to block LOF again. Opponent runs in with Phobos with Blades. Hits Wade and rolls a 6, but I luckily roll a 5 for Regen. Follows up with Stonewall on a push, miss.

By this time, Monkey Joe is in the battle and rushes to tie up people and so does Mr. Immortal. Eventually Slingshot takes out Immortal and Quake drops Joe. Next Squirrel comes out. And Immortal starts healing.

Hawkeye falls quickly, so Doorman is the next tie up piece. Wade starts slicing through his opponents with RCE. Slingshot 1 is dropped in a hurry, and Quake soon follows. Stonewall is slowly widdled away by Doorman who hits his Super Senses when needed.

Pool gets his Senses Outwitted by Fury, but the ensuing hit only does one thanks to a roll of 4, putting him back on Running Shot, Super Senses, and Prob.

One bad, fly mama jamma!!

Mr. Wade is unstoppable. Thank heaven we have him on our side...

With Fury out in the open, Wade makes quick work with him. Phobos drops Doorman. Slingshot is back trying to get ahold of Squirrely when Immortal comes back and goes to help. Eventually Wade knocks her off her special power and Immortal goes to work. Stonewall falls to Squirrel Girl as opponent under-rated her. Exploit eats a dials up quickly. Fight comes down to Wade, Bob, Immortal, and Squirrel Girl against an injured Slingshot. Finally after all that, Immortal takes her down!!

It's not going to win, as there are going to be far more powerful or min/max teams. But I figure since it is just for the 3D objects, might as well have some fun with it. And when else am I going to run these figures together?

I agree that Bob is going to be Deadpool's +1 for the next little while.

Not sure if moding or replacement figs are up your ally but some of the ideas include those type of things.

If you like the 040 Cap dial you could always use that as Taskmaster (one of the many versions I will be making of that fig). It fits for him, when he's mostly copying Cap's skill set.


For other team ideas...............

GLA with stands in for Big Bertha and or Flatman (not a big leap from what you have played)

The Super Skrulls...........remember when good ol'Wade infiltrated the Skrull genetics labs during SI. Fun stuff.........I still have to find decent dials for Skrull-Pools.

Agency X..............Taskmaster, Bullseye (could go in there as well), Agent X(XXXXXL version, or just another DP dial)

Team up with Cap and Bucky..............when Bob was introduced as the Hider and Halitosis man. :p The benefit there is that you get to spontaniously say things like 'Hail Hydra!' to counteract the Cap factor for Bob.

Frightful Four............Klaw Taskmaster Sandman ect.....

Doomwar..............teaming up with Panther and friends.

Team up with Rorschach.......actually I might add him into the Agency X team for fun.

Cap does a decent job as a stand in Taskmaster, never really thought of it that way. Might actually get a second dial and custom a Taskmaster on there. Would look pretty sweet.

If you can't tell, we all play together at Ravenstone in Columbus, Ohio. We have a naturally competitive venue, though we all like to have fun. Just a lot of solid players there.

So I figured I would start this thread get them all riled up. Which I think I have done quite nicely....lol.


By the way, will have my tournament report up first thing tomorrow. Trust me, it was fun.

Decided to go with my first team idea and just have fun. So I ran...

Shield Throw Cap 83(Used as a stand in Hawkeye, since he can target two when he has his shield.....plus I really wanted to use him)

First game I go up against Zephyrpower and his Animal theme.

He wins map roll and grabs the Stark Lab. I figure the game is going to be a long one with all the Blades on his team. So it starts off as he moves his team part way into the building. I do the same on my turn.

A little more positioning goes on until I decide to take a chance and Running Shot with Cap. He rolls his Shape Change with Capwolf, but misses his Senses with Sabretooth and takes 3. To stop his charge, I Phase Doorman through and tie up Capwolf.

He bases Cap with Sabretooth and starts wearing out Doorman. Next turn I RS with Deadpool doing another 3 on Creed, and then base him with Immortal.

Doorman falls to Animal Man, but it takes 3 attacks from his team to do it(thank you Super Senses). He rolls 2 with Sabretooth's Regen and clears his team. I push Immortal and finish off Creed!! Mr. Immortal rules..

Then I Charge into battle to pick up my Shield with Cap. He makes Shape Change again with Capwolf and I have to target Rocket Raccoon. Thanks to an early push, only need a 5 which Cap is happy to roll and the coon is down 3 more clicks. I block his LOF of Chimps Outwit with Monkey Joe and move Pool and Bob up.

Another turn of him missing his rolls, and Cap survives. Bob follows up and takes out the Raccoon, while I push Joe and tag the Chimp for one. I then Perplex up my damage with Wade and RS him, taking him out. I then rush Immortal over to help Cap.

Cap falls, but it takes 3 more attacks to do it. Time is called and I win on points.

Lost Cap and Doorman.

So onto the second round. Next I played fox007, from here on the Realms.

Peter Parker(with both Black Suit and Red/Blue at the ready)

We are playing on the Thor mountain map. He moves up slowly, and I do as well carrying Deadpool to Mjolnir with Gravity. Next turn...6!! MjlonirPool is born!!!

Couple turns later, I rush Cap to the right side, climb up and get shots at both Torch and Sue, damaging both. Then I Runniing Shot MjolnirPool to the top of the mountain to smack Thing. He clears and I follow up the next turn by Perplexing up my damage and tagging Thing once again, dealing 6.

Two turns later, Fox gets desperate and TKs Torch up to Pulse Wave a ton of folks, koing a damaged Mr. Immortal and Doorman, as well as his own Thing and Invisible Woman.

Cap goes to work on Mr. Fantastic along with Gravity, who finishes him off. While Pool Regens back up to his 3rd click. Takes one for poison and next turn I push him again to finish off Torch. Mr. Immortal comes back and I start chasing down Parker(who turned into Black Suit). Finally Cap gets the shot and takes him out.

He moves everyone up, placing Nightcrawler on the Gem. I in turn carry Pool again to the Hammer. I miscounted the squares between Juggs and Cap and next turn Juggy came in swinging with a heavy. Tags Cap for 7, with my Toughness, Cap is down to final click. Not a good start. I have been trying to get away from Outwitting Defensive powers, but decide that to get rid of his helmet, that it is the only way. Cap outwits Impervious and Pool finds his mark.

Couple turns later, Cap is gone from Juggy, but he in turn falls to Gravity's Charge with an object. Nightcrawler rushes in and attacks Wade. Connects and I roll a 1 for my Regen trait. He carries Wade back to Wolfsbane who destroys Wade and he is gone. Not good.

Since Cypher was on the board, he was copying Defenders, which made it almost impossible to hit anyone that was sharing with NC. So Doorman created a door in the wall between he and Cypher and got a lick in. Few turns later, finished him off. Kitty returned the favor.

Wolfsbane fell to Gravity as well. Who has been amazing tonight. Turning point came when NC came in to grab Bob and rolled a Crit Miss. He ran away, and a couple turns later tried again on Squirrel Girl. Crit Miss again and was stuck next to Immortal, Squirrel Girl, and Monkey Joe.

We traded misses left and right. Squirrel Girl Crit Missed twice in a row to pay him back. But she finally connected and got him to his last click, where Monkey Joe finished him off!!!! Go, Monkey Joe, GO!!!

Kitty came in and was ganged up on. Squirrel Girl finished her off for the win.

Can't wait to play them again. Next week is 600 Floor(Gravity Feed counts too). No idea whom to team up with Deadpool for that one.

Bob has to be my favorite LE in quite some time. Sure I liked Cable and Archangel for their X-Force goodness, but Bob is just......different.

His special power "I'm Really Good at Hiding Behind Others" teamed with his starting Willpower, makes him play like moving blocking terrain. Which of course works well on maps that have a lot of blocking terrain too. I have found it really useful on the Crash Site Map, to help get Deadpool into place.

While his Probability Control is limited, it works great. If by chance an opponent finds away to get a shot past him, a la on elevated, as long as you are 4 or more away, they have to take it again. Works for me.

My favorite part is his TA and Energy Explosion. I have been having a lot of fun using Hydra for a Deadpool shot, knocking someone off their damage reducers, then copying it and having Bob Energy Explode them. Causing Splash damage to anything adjacent.

A whole lot of fun for 33pts. Plus to make him better, just get lucky and pick up the Crimson Gem with him.

Scorpio is the cheapest outwit in Cap at 78. Maybe you should go with F4, that way you get Invisible Woman (Extra Prob, but also the TK helps, and you turns into a decent attacker) and Black Panther (also good attack, and Unoutwittable outwit.) Then you could fill in elsewhere with other stuff in Cap, like Bob and maybe Squirrel Girl. Or Avengers with the same crew, but you could take Luke Cage with that as well, and possibly Bucky Cap for the plex.

Too bad you can't run a decent X-Force team...

Ravenstone Games 7-28-2011- 600pt Floor

So I was going to either run Fantastic Four/Avengers or Winter Guard with Wade. Then I was bored the other night and decided to do a couple customs. Turned an extra Blob into Big Bertha and a Mr. Fantastic from FF set into Flatman..then put him on a Batroc Dial. For Batroc's special, I was using it like a big gust of wind would come up and Flatman would fly across the field...lol.

First game was against fellow Thugit Inc. Member asgardianwarrior. His team...

Knew that I was in horrible trouble here. Most damage I am dealing is 3, unless Bertha can smack with a heavy. Plus the amount of HSS would almost be too hard to catch without Outwit. Top that with the Stealth and Quasar getting tokens removed from both Nigma and Fury...GLA was in dire straights.

So game starts out(had to pick junkyard map as all others were gone), and I move my team up. He moves up Flash and Quasar next to the compactor. Following turn I take a wild shot in the dark and Flatman pulls out his inner Batroc and flies across to get a shot at Flash on a push...Crit Miss....this is going to go well.

Flash does his thing and tags a couple of my figs the next few turns. Wade gets a shot at Flash and connects for 3. My damaged Cap gets a shot at Flash and Crit Misses...

Flash takes off back to his starting area and Quasar decimates my team for 5 every turn thanks to carrying Nigma(who was taking tokens) or Nick would move and take tokens.

Wade took out the Gotham City Detective, but Quasar got his shot for 5 and I rolled a 1 on my regen trait. Flash came in to finish off everyone, including another 1 on my trait....

Game 2 was against our judge Charles. He was playing a Masters of Evil theme team....

We both move up to near the conveyor belt. He has Moonstone carry Eel take a running shot at Cap, fortunately misses. Following turn, Cap returns the favor and tags both for 3, using up all theme team rolls in the process. I have Monkey Joe start working his way up the compactor.

Next turn, best KO of match. Charles uses Klaw to Pulse Wave the rodent. Goodbye Monkey Joe. Bertha had found a Foom Finger in the trash, so she clobbers Fixer with it. My dice were rolling hot in this one, as they owed me quite a bit after the last game. Only missed two shots the entire game, one being another Crit Miss from Flatman. No KOs for Deadpool in this one, as Cap and Bertha stole the show. A returning Monkey Joe did take out Fixer though.

Yikes, another Quasar. And Maelstrom to boot. Not to mention that his thugit figure is running around with a 12 attack...

I move up slow. Pool ends up grabbing the Gem, he in turn has Quasar successfully grab his. He phases Maelstrom in and gets a shot at Cap, but his dice crap out on him with a Crit Miss. Cap returns fire and I start basing him with people. Next turn, Maelstrom Crit Misses again and Wade finishes him off.

Quasar presses the attack and destroys Cypher. Sabretooth isn't far behind and he gets into the Melee. Poor Bob takes one slash to the gut for 3 from him. I send Doorman to go take out the medic, only to be taken down from Quasar. Pool gets a good shot in on Creed, as he takes 4.

Bob falls next from Sabretooth...it's a bloody mess. Wade follows up a single damage from Mr. Immortal and down goes Creed. Then I send the Squirrel after the medic. Only to be taken down by Quasar too. Finally Flatman gets to her and takes her out...finally he did something right.

Quasar put up a heck of a fight, but Cap was on fire and Deadpool was angry after only one fig in two games, as he finished the game by taking out Quasar.

Deadpool KOs: 3(Maelstrom, Sabretooth, and Quasar)

Flatman KOs: 1

So overall, 2 and 1 with the GLA this week. Not a horrible showing in the least. Best part is, they are a ton of fun to play. Next week is sealed 300pt team up. Can't wait for this one.

Battle started off slow. For humor's sake, I carried Bob to the Hammer with Archangel, but he missed the next turn. Couple turns later, Wade missed too. No luck. I ran Caliban and Wolfsbane right into base contact against Wolverine and Juggy. Due to Outwit from both Beast and Professor X, Caliban was dropped in a hurry.

Wolfsbane held her own for quite a while. Going toe to toe with Wolvie. Zephr, tried his wits out to take her out, but couldn't drop her. She in turn took out Wolverine.

Domino fell hard to Beast and Juggernaut. Pete showed his Orange Awesomeness by hitting a Crit Hit Energy Explosion on Wildchild, and catching the lame Deadpool with the Splash. LamePool rolled a 1 on his Regen trait causing him some serious harm. Maverick took to the buildings and got a shot on my Wade. Nightcrawler grabbed X23 and brought her to base my Deadpool, whom she had called her trait on. Super.

Luckily the first attack of Flurry missed and the second that would have been for 5, was negated to 1 thanks to a 4 on Wade's regen trait. Next turn, Archangel dropped Little Miss "Wolvie Clone". Wildchild returned the favor with a charge, 6 damage on Pete and he was gone.


Maverick got off another shot and missed. But Wade returned fire getting him to his final click where Mr. Warren Worthington III finished him off. Weapon X was off missing everything or when he would hit, it would be for 1 or 2 against Juggy's Invlunerability. Wade finally got the helmet off Juggy with a 3+RCE shot.

Marrow made it to Professor and took him out thanks to a Crit Hit and some misses from X. Nightcrawler was having trouble connecting but was hitting Super Senses like crazy.

Sabretooth finally made it to NC and gutted him nicely. Then a couple turns later took out Juggernaut. Wade got his one KO of the game, taking out Weapon X.

Game came down to a damaged Sabretooth against my Bob, Elixir, and Deadpool. Elixir got a shot in and so did Bob. Sabretooth rolled a 2 for regen allowing Bob to use Willpower and finish him off. GO BOB!!

Slugfest!! I chose Ultimates for Thunderbolts. Both of us were rocking Stealth and both had Stealth busters. Right off the bat(pardon the pun), I grab Owlman with Nightcrawler and bring him back to the Hand Ninjas and Vega. He doesn't last long.

We took turns manuevering. Supes took a shot at Question and Pool, luckily with a well timed Prob, only hit Question...destroying her. I sent Cammy to play with the Batmen and they took her down quickly after she caused a little pain. Thanks to her and Bullseye, got rid of two Protected on the OoTS. Vega got to Deadshot to block LoF. And hit him enough to hurt him. A pog was pushed to death to help heal Deadshot up a bit.

Deadpool gets into the action by KOing an OoTS Batman. Still two on the board but only one with Outwit. Time is called and I win on points 180 to 150.

This one had me worried. I knew I couldn't pick Ultimates because he would use Cypher on it. So I chose Hydra....not thinking he would choose Batman, thank you Nightwing....jerk.

So now I can't see anyone. Well Deadpool goes off to the side and tries to pick up the Key...SUCCESS!! World of good that does me on the Crash Site map.

He shoots out some walls and places Magneto on the rubble. Akuma gets a shot at the hammer....6. Not good. I get an opening and grab his Deadpool and whisk him back to my side and Psylocke and Vega light him up. Cammy deals the final blow on the impostor Wade.

Next turn I use my Contingency Plan tokens and push Nightcrawler to grab Magneto. Bring him back to my waiting Hand Ninjas without tokens. He hangs in for a bit. But eventually falls to Cammy too. Deadpool makes his presence felt and tags cap, allowing Bullseye to finish him off.

Problem is I leave Pool out in the open. Akuma with a Perplex from Cypher hits him for 6...roll a 1 on Regen trait. Deadpool has been one shotted.

Ken and Ryu get taken out by the Psylocke and Hand Ninja combo. Time is called, and a lucky win.

Bullseye got a quick shot on Scarlett Witch, hurting her. I sent Nightcrawler over to grab Steve Rogers and brought him back to the Ninjas. And Wade polished him off. Moonstar tried sneaking in but Question and Nightwing were ready. After a couple turns, she fell hard.

Aaron stack tried the same, but was met with a shot from Bullseye, followed by Question and Nightwing. He tried basing Vega, but Vega must not have liked that idea and Bladed him for 5.

He based Pool with Nick Fury and Nick Fury LMD. I used Nightcrawler to steal Nick and got him diced up. I then tried finishing off the LMD with Dhalsim, but he lived. Deadpool went ahead and took him out. Time was called and the win.

Overall, a ton of fun. I knew these figs would work well together, but didn't know my dice were going to be this hot. I think I only missed 3 total attacks all night. It was insane.

Got Gabriel Jones as the prize, which I needed. So a great night.

And yeah, Armor Piercing on Nightcrawler would have been money. Couldn't figure out how to fit it on there. Was wanting Auto Regen on Wade, but same thing. Though the good thing was, he never saw regen. Got blasted past it once, but otherwise never got close. Would have wasted 12 points.
