This is not "Clix for the Cure" that benefits the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer foundation, This "Clix for a Cure" that benefits the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and blood cancer research.
** Horsemen, Wonder Woman and Moonstone/MsMarvel Convention Exclusives for this event, they will be used as prizes/raffle/silent auction.**
I am a 20 year Leukemia survivor and want to celebrate that with a Heroclix event to raise money for the LLS and blood cancer research. Please visit my website clix4acure.com for more information.
The event takes place September 17, 2011 at All Fun and Games in Apex North Carolina(just outside of Raleigh). The cost is $40 and there will be two main events and a final event for the top sixteen players.
Doors open and registration starts at 9am, first event starts at 10am.
(I have room for 72 players so please sign up if you plan to attend)

($30 will be donated to the Walk and the other $10 will be put toward costs, you also receive a drink, food, and two packs of heroclix for sealed event with entry)
$1 Probability rolls, you may buy a probability roll for a $1 at anytime during the day. You may buy one for your game or even someone else's game you may be walking by or watching! All money collected this way will be donated in honor Bobbie McRae!

Event #1 400pts Sealed
Two boosters provided to make a 400pt team.
Three rounds and top eight make the finals
**prizes will be awarded for 1st and 2nd place**
Event #2 400pts Constructed
Silver Age: All figures are legal, no BFC/Feats/Pogs.
(Just superhero clix, no SF, GOW ect)
You may use ATA's and Special Objects.
Three rounds and top eight make the finals
(If you already are in finals next closest players gets the spot)
**prizes will be awarded for 1st and 2nd place**
Final Event 300pts Constructed: Modern Age
(Just superhero clix, no SF, GOW ect)
Top eight players from Sealed and Constructed event.
Winner gets prize of their choice from prize pool
**Did not make top 16 for the final event, Grab Bag Battle Royal Events will be available all day every time four players want to play**
