Captain America is my favorite superhero! Bucky is not quite Cap, but if anyone else deserves to weild the shield, it would be him. So without further ado, I present the newest installment of Thugit, Inc. A thread dedicated to the many adventures of the new Captain America!

Captain America Sealed Tournament.
Only two of us were there (myself and my brother), so we just bought two boosters and took them home to play there.

My first move was to have Falcon carry Bucky, park in hindering with Bucky standing behind him. Widow ran into hindering and Guardian Stood behind Bucky. He moved Viper and the Hydra generic adjacent in hindering. Jack Flag grabbed a heavy object and moved into charging range of Widow, and Steve moved up behind Viper. I took a shot at Jack Flag, with Bucky, and missed. Passed with the others.

Jack chared Black Widow, critical hit, she takes 5. She outwits Jack's toughness, allowing Guardian and Falcon to take him out.

Viper and Steve took a few shots hitting Bucky down 1 and knocking down Red Guardian a few, after he KO'd Hydra Soldier. Falcon and Bucky had hit Steve down to his last click.

Bucky KOs Steve (didn't quite feel right), while Falcon and Guardian charge Viper, knocking her out of hindering. Next turn, Bucky pushes to KO Viper, winning the game.

No figures lost.

I am going to be out of town next week, so my brother and I just played a couple of games to get me through the week
First game: 500 points

I played a SHIELD team:

He played a Gotham City team:

I won map roll, to limit his stealth options. He made the mistake of moving Bane into Iron Man's range. Iron Man Running shot for 4, outwit his invulnerability. Bucky then perplexed his damage to 4, Running Shot onto his last click, rolled doubles, causing Bane to be knocked back into the Low gravity field. Kitty then carried Black Widow (now using Ultimates) into hindering, while sitting on the Gem.
Next turn, he TK'd Deadshot into hindering, who then hit Iron Man for 4. Batman then charged Black Widow, missing, with Batgirl in tow as Mastermind fodder.
A couple turns later, after Kitty had missed the Gem and Widow and Iron Man had hit Batman a bit, after Batgirl couldn't take any more. Bucky pushed to run in for the kill. Before being blasted by Deadshot.
After that Iron Man and Kitty based Green Lantern. Widow finally hit Deadshot, just in time for Bucky to charge in with a critical hit; KO.
Green Lantern Pulsewaved a couple of times, KOing Bucky, before Kitty taught him a lesson.
Second win.

He won map this time and chose the Graveyard.

This was my first time using Ms. Marvel and she didn't do much; Spider-Man, Iron Fist, and Wolverine did most of the work.
Iron Fist failed on the Gem while Bucky and Ms. Marvel took on Carnage. Both hit, but he ran back to Nurse and healed for 4. Bucky didn't do much for a while, his only contribution was perplex, until Anti-Venom made the mistake of basing him. Bucky was able to take him out a few turns later, knocking him into a wall. Scarlet Spider had pushed a couple of times to try to hit Ms. Marvel and Iron Fist, mostly failed, but he did manage to get Iron Fist onto his last click. Bucky pushed with a Running Shot to hit Scarlet Spider, critical hit; KOing him, right before Iron Fist defeated Nurse to win the game.

658 points in 3 games is incredible. In a couple of weeks, I will be able to play in a regular tournament and I looking forward to see how Bucky does.

500 points this week, Universe Specific, Modern Age. I will be using my New Avengers team: Bucky/Cap, Ms. Marvel, Wolverine, Spider-Man, Iron Fist, Nurse, and Gem.

First tournament and I cleaned house. Went 3-0! We played 2 regular games then had a big team battle, 2 on 2.

First game I played against:

Wait a minute... (checks calculator)... that is 518 points... That's okay, he didn't win any of his games.

I believe that I lost Nurse and Spidey, while the rest of my team took out his team. Bucky KO'd Deadshot and Joker after some one knocked them off of stealth.

Second game I played a veteran player, and a good friend of mine (he got me into the game), that I typically lose to, so this was a good day.

He played the "Bad Asgardians" (think about it and you will notice a clever, alternate spelling):

This one was pretty tough, Started off strong as Ms. Marvel outwit Frost Giant's toughness, letting Wolverine hit him for 4 with Blades, before Bucky perplexed his damage to 4 to finish him off with a running shot. Unfortunately that was all Bucky did that game, other that hit Ulik a few times, because Loki hit him hard enough for him to keep his distance the rest of the game. I lost Iron Fist, Spidey, and Nurse; but I defeated Loki's mastermind fodder, Fire Demon and Valkyrie. I never attacked Loki, I prefer to leave Mystics alone when I can.

Last game was the team up game. I teamed up with the "Bad Asgardians", and we played against the first guy that I played and some one playing:

I took on the DC team while my teammate took on the other, helping each other out along the way. After I finished off all of the DC characters (woo! Marvel) I went in and assisted by defeating Cap, it just didn't seem right having Bucky KO him, I will say that it is him under the Red Skull's control.

Overall it was a good night, we all had fun and made a few trades; this was the first time we had all been together since Cap came out. I ended up trading my Kitty Pryde for the new Baron Zemo, hopefully I will get another Kitty at some point, but I would much rather have Zemo.

Unfortunately, I was unable to get to Gencon until saturday, so no Grinders or Worlds for me. I was rather fond of my team: Bullseye (w/T-Bolts), Captain America, Batroc, and the Question.

Cap didn't get a chance to be played, but I did get to play in a few King of the Hill games. I went 3-1; a whole afternoon of entertainment for $24 is pretty good in my opinion. I also pulled, the Chase Ice Cap and Maelstrom. I used Bucky in two of my games, he didn't KO many people (only Maria Hill, actually), but he did deal considerable damage to several characters.

Next week we will be playing that Call in the Calvary scenario and Captain America will definitely get a go then. Hopefully, I will be able to play one or two games before then.

Pretty much, it started out with Bucky and expanded from there. It's all in fun, and I'm enjoying it.

Went 3-0 again! Bucky/Cap has not failed me yet. No one ever seems to view him as a major threat, so they focus on Ms. Marvel or Shield throwing Cap, while Bucky takes everyone out. Double Base Cap did a great job and dealt a lot of damage, but everyone did their best to make sure that he didn't get the chance to do much.

So, first game I played against:

I was trying to be very careful with this one. I defeated Sinestro and spent the rest of the game trying to weaken the Guardian, so he wasn't a threat, without KOing him, but I could never hit him. He KOd Falcon almost immediately and eventually got Bucky, bringing in Iron Man/Warmachine. At first, I made the mistake of thinking that he had Quintessence, but I realized my error quickly. The Iron Duo and Cap spent five turns slowing getting the Guardian down his dial, my dice were not very good this game. I finally KOd him about two minutes before the end of the game, not giving my opponent enough time for his calvary to do any damage.

This one went pretty quickly. Falcon spent several turns working Green Lantern down his dial (this was also, the only game that Falcon wasn't one-shotted), while Cap and Bucky were working on Guy, and SHIELD Agent based and wounded R'Hamey a bit.
The last turn was absolutely amazing. Bucky shot Guy, KO, Falcon hit Green Lantern, KO, and Cap charged R'Hamey Holl, KO.
The Judge had ruled that the Calvary came in at the beginning of your next turn, so if you lost all of your figures at once, your calvary couldn't come in, so that was the end of that game.

Not sure when I will get to play again, as I am moving into my College dorm, about an hour away from home, so I won't be able to play at my usual venue. Hopefully, I can find a good place to play. What a way to end an era, though.

It was amazing! The Avengers lost about half their team, but ended up defeating the entire Justice League in just under an hour. It took forever for Cap to get in the game, but when he did, he was able to successfully work Superman down most of his dial, after being softened up by Herucles, while the rest of my team took care of everyone else.
It ended with Cap's Vibranium/Adamantium shield hitting Supes in the face and knocking him out as he had just watched all of his teammates be defeated.

The Super Soldier triumps again!!

New place, new people, and new figures. Everyone at my old venue rarely used figures earlier than HoT, since that is where a few of us started and the others came back, so playing against a bunch of the old figures threw me off.

Scenerio stated above, Silver Age, 600 points, themed.

Went 2-1

First game, Street Fighter:
I am not familiar with the characters enough to tell you what the entire team was. I do know that Ice Cap KO'd Ryu and Bucky/Cap KO'd Akuma. Ended up KOing his entire team, losing only Black Panther.

Next game was Monster, and it didn't go as well:

I was able to defeat Atrocitus with Ice Cap and Doppelganger KO'd himself with a push. Bucky helped with Perplex, but Crit Missed his first attack and it was down hill from there. I believe that I ended up with 4 critical misses, compared to his 3 critical hits.

Third Game, Rogues:

This game was pretty close for a while, I only lost Iron Man, but all of my figures were at least halfway through their dials, by the end of the game. That Zoom is amazing, you have no idea how happy I was to see him miss his roll for the Crimson Gem. His team very slowly disappeared. First off with Bucky getting Abra Kadabra, several turns later with Bucky on his first charge click, he defeated Trickster and Pied Piper. Then Grodd, fell to Ice Cap after Spidey and Black Panther softened him up a bit. It finally came down to my team, minus Iron Man, and Zoom, hiding behind Dr. Alchemy. Ice Cap KO'd him swiftly, and I was going to push Bucky (wish I had now, so that he could beat 2,000 points), but then I realized that Black Panther had range and used him to KO Zoom.

I got to play a couple of friendly games over the weekend. I recently aquired WoS Deadpool and was excited to play him, but I let my brother use him the first game, as he is a big fan as well.

First Game was 400 points, so I played:

Bucky didn't deal much damage throughout the game. He did hit Cage with a heavy object and offer some perplex help. Spider-Man crit hit Steve Rogers, then with knockback damage, for 4. The cool part was when Thor charged and KOd Bob, allowing the Invisible Woman to hit Deadpool, rolling double 5s. Deadpool then rolled a 1 on Ridiculous Regeneration, taking 4, then another 2 after being knocked off of elevated. He promptly regened for 4. Before Thor came in and defeated him.

Second game was 300 points. This team isn't really thematic, but I really like it and think that I will have to take it to a tournament soon.

Batroc took on Kilowog, while Deadpool went after Heimdall. If I had thought about his special, I would have done that the other way around. Unfortunately, Deadpool didn't do much of anything the entire game. He crit missed his first attack. He did roll a 4 the first time Heimdall hit him, but rolled a 1 the next. He was able to regen for 2, right before Heimdall KOd him. Hopefully, he will work better in the future.
Bucky did almost all of the work, with a little help from Batroc.

This wasn't a structured tournament, as we won't have any more prizes until Superman releases, so there was no order to anything.

I started off well. Quickly chasing down Tomar Re with Batroc, and having him and Bucky slowing take him down. Green Arrow, then, quickly defeated both Bucky and Falcon, allowing the Iron Duo to come into the game. Electra made swift work of Domino and Researcher as Iron Man/Warmachine made their way up the board, in order to take out Green Arrow.
Batroc nearly wet his pants, when Young Superman and Hawkgirl appeared right infront of him, but he quickly recoverd. He kicked into the fight, working Hawkgirl down her dial before being destroyed by Superman. Bullseye made quick work of Electra, leaving only the two man Army to fight for my cause.
They didn't dissapoint. Superman and Hawkgirl fell quickly, but Bullseye never gave up. He was able to knock them off of their first click, as he hid in hindering with stealth. Unfortunately, he didn't realize what was coming.

Batroc tackled (with his feet) Dr. Strange, giving him a great deal of trouble, as Bucky came to help in the effort. Meanwhile, Falcon and Electra took on the Riddler. They failed, horribly. The Riddler's outwit and perplex, as well as some attacks by Dr. Strange proved to be their undoing, causing Iron Man/Warmachine to come in.
Bucky had finally defeated Dr. Strange, as Iron Man/Warmachine caught up with an exposed Riddler, who quickly masterminded the damage to Black Cat, allowing Bucky to finish her off and causing his calvary to come out.

Bullseye ripped through Batroc as Iron Man/Warmachine finished off the Riddler and Roulette. Bucky based Cable, while Iron Man/Warmachine wounded Bullseye, knocking them onto pulsewave due to mystics. Bucky hit Cable over the head with Anti-Monitor's leg as Iron Man/Warmachine pulsewaved another stealthy Bullseye. They were able to outwit Cable's regen as my team passed, then finished him off with a duo attack.

While we were waiting for the conclusion of other games, my previous opponent and I played a quick 300 point game, very quick.

MODOK absolutely destroyed Batroc and Bucky, before moving on to Deadpool, who rolled a 1. I blame Bob. He fought back for a while, regenerating a couple of time and rolling 4s for a while, but was finally defeated. I dealt absolutely no damage the entire game. It was horrible.

I have been watching the Avengers cartoon on Netflix, and I must say that it is absolutely amazing. This has inspired me to make a team based off of the show. So I made a 1000 point team:

He went first, so he moved everyone up. This allowed Black Panther and Yellow Jacket to move up and outwit, so that Cap could running shot and hit both Loki and Red Skull. Thor was able to take care of his fellow Asgardians, as Iron Man focused on Crimson Dynamo. Wasp shot Madame Hydra off of stealth, allowing Hawkeye to finish up, as Black Panther defeated Red Skull, directly before being tag teamed by Loki, Enchantress, and Baron Zemo. Hulk threw Bob at Zemo, allow Cap to finish off the Baron as Hawkeye defeated Bob. Hulk then used Close Combat Expert on MODOK, getting him to Energy Shield, allowing Cap to charge in and finish him off.

This week's scenerio was... different. It was called "Battle at the YMCA." Essentially, all of your figures had to be the village people, but it was rather liberal:

This game lasted for quite some time, but I eventually was victorious. Unfortunately, Thor acted mostly as a tie up piece, as he couldn't hit many attack rolls, after his first hard hit to Bonebreaker, and was taken almost single handedly down by Crossbones.
Bucky's perplex is absolutely invaluable in my games. He ended up defeating 3 figures tonight: Bonebreaker, Steel, and the Crimson Avenger.

Unfortunately, the scenerio for this week did not allow me to use Bucky. Also, with Superman coming out, and several scenerios involving it, it may be several weeks before I can use him. But worry not, Bucky will make his triumphant return, after a few weeks of vacation. He deserves a rest.

The past few weeks we have played nothing but Superman/DC only. It will be that way for the next two to three weeks. Rest assured that Bucky will return soon.
