What are you using for your Sasquach/Windigo mods?
I see the Thing as being your base fig for the two Sasquatch figures. Is that correct? Great job. Keep 'em coming
Very impressive! I don't know why I didn't think of that Cap conversions first.

I posted feedback on these mods when you had posted them in Costume changes but it bears repeating that these are THE BEST Sasquach mods to date and I highly doubt that Wizkids will top them.
Great job on all the mods.

The Upperbody, arms up to the wrists, face and part of the brow line are all a Thing. The body given 4 coats of gloss medium to fill in the crags.
The hands were swapped out for the hands and wrist bands of a Blob. The bands give the fore arms a little extra length that adds a kind of gorilla proportion.
The legs, hips and most of his "loincloth" fur are from a Gorilla Grodd. Everything else is glue and Games Workshop putty.

Thanks darkstorm, your comment made my day.

I have to agree - that sasquatch is the most impressive version I've seen yet!
And love the Cap - very, very cool.

Absolutely amazing Sasquatch. Ever think of selling?

My gawd, excellent work!
By the way, since you seem to have an excellent hand with the putty and burnisher, have you considered doing what I am about to do? Namely, custom carve a mod from scratch? No clues yet on who it's gonna be...

Wicked stuff
That Cap mod especially, so simple, yet so effective.

I haven't. It's very new to me and I think that modding existing figures is most likely to challenge but not over tax me. If you do I hope to see it posted here.

Thank You, he was made for a WW2 superhero RPG campaign. One of the players didn't like the Wizkids version and asked for a very specific Cap mod-" Charging in to battle, shield before him with his other hand in a fist ." At the time I thought he was nuts but once you look at the Flash it all falls in to place. Lucky.

I haven't but I've certainly done customs for friends and gamers in my group. Sasquatch came out very well but he isn't as tall as the character should be in scale, none the less I've done him five times for various people. I got the brow right on later versions.

I really do want one. What would you charge?

Things are getting busy at work so I'm not sure when the free time would be available, but, I'd probably only ask for the three figs to make him out of, Blob or Blastaar for the hands, a Thing for the upper bod, a Gorilla Grodd for the lower parts and a fair amount of patience.
I'd also have to say that I wasn't kidding about him seeming too small to be in scale with other clix. I'll see if I can't post a pic with him next to a reguler size clik for comparison.

I've put two new pics of the Sasquatchi besides other clix to give you some idea of scale. they should be at the end.

Some of them are Mods to make existing Marvel characters that Wizkids haven't gotten around to yet and others are from several superhero rpgs.
The one in silver is Box, a character from 80s Canadian supergroup Alpha Flight, basically a big robot that was inhabited by several people. He had a face in the comic but I haven't gotten around to redoing it after a abortive first attempt.
Doom's colors are those of Marvel's character Doctor Strange, kind of their Doctor Fate. Doom is wearing them becouse, in a Champions game I was running, Doom manipulated the Avengers in such a way that he could get in position to steal Dr. Strange's powers and objects of power. The figure would have been dropped on the table during a final confrontation. The campaign went on hiatus when some of players got called up with the rest of the local national guard.
The Birdguy in blue is from another superhero campaign, a World War Two one. In that campaign one of the players chr. is a Silverage Hawkman, essentially an alien cop, who is on Earth during the 1940s investigating the Golden age superhero of the same name and powers but of unrelated origin. We needed to be able to tell the two figures of Hawkmen apart so a repaint was made.

Thankyou and as far as I'm concerned feel free to copy it. No shame neccesary.
Dr. Doom as the Sorceror Supreme....
Awesome! All we need now is Dr. Strangefate to square off against him...

And if anything is left of Earth after that, Galactus can have a snack.

His ratio isn't as bad as you think... I understand he is supposed to be 12-14 feet tall, but the way you made it sound, he wouldn't be able to see over Wolverine or Puck on his tiptoes.

Well, you were asking about having one madeand I was thinking of you getting one and being disappointed. Now you've seen for yourself and if it isn't a problem then great. Just looking out for you.
I got an Xplosian Hulk last wedsnesday and put him next to my Vindicator, Sasquatch and IC Hulk. It looked right on the money for hight. If I can get another one I'm gonna try for a new sasquatch mod.
I also think Destiny would be a good start for a Snowbird, and Doc Samson might make a good alternate Thor or 70s Wonderman.
Lest I forget, thanks again for all the feedback everyone.

Thanks for the honest look, but I am impressed none-the-less... and that is coming from someone in the "biz" of the art world (as a former art director and someone who has worked at animation studios).
As soon as I get the guys you require, I will send them off to you... thanks for the offer, and I can't wait! I'd love to see your new take on the U Hulk.... I was actually wondering how the Sasquatch might work out on the old Hulk.
You da man!
