Explosion Uniques!

Hey Everyone, I have a question
My friend is going to offer me any one of his Uniques from his Explosion set that he is soon to buy. He is giving me the pick of the litter expect for Elektra and Soulran(I dunno who this is, so oh well).
Who do you all think that I should pick? Who is the best??

Take Deathbird or Green Goblin.

Deathbird is overrated. The combination of powers just doesn't mesh well. I would take Goblin. He's a great taxi, can hold his own in battles, and willpower is just an awesome power.

definately Green Goblin or Sauron.

Green Goblin being (in my opinion) the ultimate (har har) taxi. Willpower so he can keep moving, a decent attack with Super Strength, and perplex.

Sauron is another great taxi. Charge and BCF is great. perplex his range up one and he can charge for 6, BCF, drop someone else off and beat on them some more. Fun fun stuff. His toughness and steam energy will keep him kicking for a long time aswell. Last but not least is his Mind control. While I doubt I'll use his MC as much as his other abilities it certianly thows another option into the mix (first click of MC has a 10 attack, so he'll be pretty good at it).

Ya I was thinking about Phoenix. She is awsome.. Hmm.. but so many ppl have said Goblin... hmm.. tough decisions... agh!!

I wouldn't count on it. With the Hulk and X-Men movies coming up in the next 3 months, I expect the characters related to those movies will get the most buzz. Playability doesn't always translate to prices. Just look at U Elektra. She's more playable than Thanos, but he's consistently higher-priced.

Couldnt, again, disagree with you more Melkoloran. But I do have to agree Phoenix, Apocalypse, and Hulk will be up there. Not the tops.

With Sauron and Elektra excluded, the best to pick from would be:

1. Deathbird
1A. Green Goblin
2. Phoenix
3. Spiderman
4. Shadowcat
5. Apocalypse

Apocalypse is pretty darn good. He hardly ever drops (the numbers are the same on his first three clicks!). Very potent if used right. Oh and there's the cool factor of having one of the nicest sculpts in this set.

i can tell you that i have the green goblin and his playability is great. i will be using him often for only 62 points. willpower, good attack, and perplex to start off is great. he lasted the battle the first time i used him and was the key piece in my stragety. i would take the goblin for low points and great uses. not to mention superstenght as well. i think apocolypse is looking great too, and for 133 points, he has great use as well. take the goblin. i used jean grey to tele him in to use willpower and perplexed his damage to 3 hitting some good guys on the other teams on the same turn.

I totally agree.

I think you should pick

Shadowcat for playability
Green Goblin for playability
Apocalypse because everyone will try and get him like Nightcrawler (IMO)
