Reckon you have a full set including LE's?
Think again!

Why does clobberin time start with figures from 1 - 96 and then the LEs start at 100.
Where are the missing 4 clix, CT 97, 98, 99 and 100.

Can you enlighten me?

From what I've heard Nightcrawler and Nick Fury were supposed to be R/E/V and not uniques. Supposedly they changed them last minute. They were to lazy or to late to change the LE's.

You think that's bad (LEs starting at 101 when the Uniques end at 96), in X-plosion the LEs start at 201! WTF???

perhaps the 101 and 201 are a new nomenclature - starting LEs at a number independant of the main series. this type of system is very common in other items. rather than start at 97, the LEs have their own #1, but to delineate it from the #1 of the main set, they start it in the hundreds. the fact that xplosion starts at 201 could indicate that they have made LE numbering not only independant of its set, but independant of the line as a whole, the LEs being their own set in a sense. Clobberin time the first to use this system (quite possibly because it was the first expansion) so it starts at 101, then xplosion being the second starts at 201. i will not be surprised at all if next expansion starts at 301. the next main set that replaces IC would either fall in place with this system as x01 or perhaps would just stick to sequential numbering, then with the next expansion after it picking up at the next increment x.

Actually, they do exist.

097) - LE Peter Parker

098) - LE Ben Reilly

099) - LE Clark Kent

100) - LE Kal-El

JonL made these for LE's for himself. They are rarity 10 - meaning only one was made, and he owns them. Eventually I'll break into his house and make them mide. Wahahahaha....

I applaud the effort, but I don't think there's any rationale.
Besides, the IC LEs are already #ed in the 100s: 151-173.
That would make the CT LEs come before IC's.
