Beautiful job, I think these are the best mods I have ever seen. were you the one who did the Fin Fang Foom sculpt?

Thanks man. I did make a Fin Fang Foom mod but I cant take credit for the sculpt, as it was made from a Toybiz action figure with minor sculpting modifications and an extensive repaint. However, Steven Davis did sculpt his own Fin Fang Foom from scratch and it's a great representation of the character's classic look (swim trunks and all).

Ok, here's a clue...

The figure used to make Dorno came from the HyperTime set.

Any guesses?

They all are just staggeringly awesome.

So when I actually went back and read....D'oh! How long did the custom sculpts take?

Zandor's base figure is a Shield Trooper. I shaved down all the surface details on his chest, back, hip, and boots - then repaced his arms with a pair from Hawkeye. The sling shot, shield, kilt, hip pack, hair and tiarra (SP?) were made from scratch.

Each of the Herculoid beasts were made from scratch with sculpty and took between 5-10 hrs each to make (the exception was Gloop and Gleep who took more like 3-4hrs).

Ding Ding Ding Ding - you are correct Sir. Dorno = one reposed Checkmate Agent minus breasts and the big gun. I think this could be the first female to male conversion ever done. Sure it may be a little emasculating but after a thorough search, only Unique Wasp and the C. Agent had the type of pre-pubescent body I needed to make a young kid.

Unique Wasp is actually a little smaller than Checkmate agent and would probably make a good base fig for a Franklin Richard's mod (since he is younger than Dorno). Hmmm, someone should try that...
