I am sure a thread like this has probably run, but couldn't find it so thought I would get your opinions. I have played a few games here and there( Warhammer, AD&D, battle tech, and a few other tactic games) and have learned that a good set of "Shock Troops" to wade in and do damage and tie up the opponent so you can hit where they ain't works really well. Looking at the figs that are offered right now, not including xplosion, the best one for my points is the veteran vampire lackey. She has B/C/F for 2 clicks and then energy drain, then regenerate, allowing her to withstand some pretty tough opponents and even go toe to toe with a few of the big guys.
Use a TK fig to move em in quick and let them rip through the front lines of your opponent. and they only cost 20 points!
Anyone have a better fig for the points, let me know. I have been devastaing my buddies with them for awhile.

My favs are R Quicksilver, any Toad and R Ock. They have free move, are cheap, and speedy. Which one I use depends on whether I need speed, first strike or leap climb/willpower.

I like R Quicksilver, R Doc Oc, and V Vampire Lackey. I also like E Quicksilver. For 6 points more than the rookie, still cheap at 24 points, you get 1 more on your movement and the potential to do 4 clicks of damage in one turn and he still has the free movement. He's great for killing medics. You move him over to the medic with his 13 movement for free. Next turn you push him to attack. Most of the time he'll kill the medic, with his two flurry attacks. Another one I like is the V SHEILD Sniper. For 18 points you get a range 10 attack that does two points of damage plus the shield team ability. If he gets based he's useless, but he's cheap, can command a large portion of the battle field with his 10 range, and most of the time your opponent can't afford to ignore him.

The V Vampire Lackeys are also great to use with your mastermind figures. You transfer your damage to them then the regenerate.
