...she came out alright...the sash (which didn't come out due to positioning of pic) was a pain. it worked in the end though.

these two were simple repaints for the most part, although I have a long ways to go on my painting skills. heh

I dunno, they look pretty good to me. Dove and Nightwing are surprisingly versatile for mods and repaints.

Wow oh did i say wow already if not wow warbird is nice but NOVA RULEZ ive been a fan since New Warriors first came out all those many yrs ago if im wrong tell but thats a magneto head and constrictor body if so finally a good constrictor:)

magneto was the head, which I was lazy on...didn't sand down the raised sections. for the body I used nightwing.

the red star burst is just a piece of plastic from a coke bottle...cut to form. only went with 3 rays versus five as the two middle ones would have been so small you wouldn;t have really noticed them....in addition, I was lazy and I wanted my Nova immediately.

agreed. nightwing is a very easy fig to mod. hawkman is another and doc strange is pretty good for those cloaked flyers. on the female side I would go with wasp and dove as my favs to mod/repaint. I have one in the works that uses elektra but lord knows when I'll sit down and finish her...but then I have a whole "bits box" full of partial conversions. LOL
one day I will finish my Moon Knight....batman? who's that? ;)

Nice work. Nova rocks. He's going to be one of the next one's I'm doing as well. I thought with explosion there would be a new untapped well, and there is, but the scale is larger than the previous releases on most of the figs, so it won't be as easy to "frankestien" these with the old ones. I may have to start a whole new body banks box with the new scale figs. Anyway keep 'em posting as you crank 'em out.

yuppers, the new figs are a tad larger but for the most part that shouldn't be too much of a prob.

my current project is Storm with the mohawk. I just need to finish of the 'hawk to my satisfaction and she'll be ready for the paint...
