We continue our look at the Secret Warriors with a pair that has both speed and strength on its side. Today’s preview begins with the heroic daughter of the villainous Griffin; Yo-Yo Rodriguez, better know as Slingshot! [...]

At only 50 points, Slingshot is a great harasser piece to use against your opponents behind their front lines! What she lacks in strength, she makes up for in speed! And if strength is what you’re looking for, look no further than the son of Absorbing Man and Slingshot’s teammate, Stonewall! [...]

Stone wall is much more useful in my opinion.

P.S. the restriction of having to return Sling shot to where she came from means she will get alomost no play except in fun theme builds

Agreed. While comic accurate, it does reduce her usefulness. However, I love Secret Warriors, so I'm sure I'll be using her.

I actually like that limitation - it's comic accurate, and yet the designers give the OPTION to have her stop someone else and take a click.

Of course, I'm mostly playing "fun theme builds", so my opinion may be colored by that...

Ugh... Neca really doesn't want my money for this set. Once I get a Batroc and MODOK, I'm done.

Could someone repaint Stonewall for me to look like the Freedom Force one?

This is the first I've heard of either of these characters. So, what are they saying? Crusher Creel had a son, who inherited his power to absorb the properties of whatever he touched? How old is this kid supposed to be??

marvel and dc have a lot of paternity age issues due to their sliding time scale

Actually, Crusher Creel has a bigger problem with the sliding timescale than an overage kid. He was supposed to have been wearing his ball and chain when he escaped from a prison work gang, and was found an empowered by Loki. How many decades has it been since that cruel and unusual form of punishment was used in America?

What's with all these grown kids of old supervillains? What is this, the M2 universe? What's next, Plantman's daughter Cutting? The Eel's son Elver? Cobra's daughter Sister Hisser?
