Clix in Japan?

hey all -- i'm going to be moving to japan soon to teach and was wondering if anyone knew if they sold heroclix over there? i know i could just order online, but i like to support the local shops.

excellent. thank you. i'm hopeful. now if i can just convince my older brother (who already lives there) to let me teach him the game.... i've gotta have someone to play with! i'll teach him the intricacies of heroclix and he can teach me japanese. that sounds fair...

no. mito. to teach english. my brother and his wife are missionaries in mito.

i don't think so. i had the inside ticket through my brother. my girlfriend and i are both going over to replace the two who are leaving.... but i'm sure there are others out there!

Well, I checked... they've got at least 2, maybe 3 distributors there in Japan. Wasn't actually able to find any retail listings, but it seems they do have tourneys and the like there.

Well, the bathhouses are segregated... so you'll only see naked men. Eww.

There is a Mageknight/Mechwarrior championship being held in Tokyo so there should be contacts there. Here's the info from the WK site.

Mito is approximately 100 km from Tokyo so it shouldn't be too hard to get there.

I wasn't in Kyushu but I travelled from Tokyo down through Kyoto and Himejii. Lovely country. Don't be surprised to see men urinate in the parks and don't tip cabbies, they get insulted by it.
