I spent enough time typing this response, then the thread was deleted so I thought I would still post my response in case he/she was still interested.
house rules, tell me what you think
1. perplex last until the beginning of your next turn
Nope. This would make Perplex even more powerful. you could perplex your big hitters D and make him unhittable. It is supposed to be your fig acting in an unpredictable way to throw off your opponent. Once your turn ends, your fig is done acting up, perplex ends.
2. if there is two figures in the range of a pulse wave attack, and one of those fig is stealth, pulse wave does a damage to the stealth person if the attacker is successful and since it is not a direct attack (unless it is only targeting 1 fig) toughness, inv., imper., and ss can't be used. the way i looking at it is that pluse wave is like a pluse blast. it just hits everything in its range unless there is blocking terrain.
I agree that "common sense" would say that the stealthed figure would be able to be hit, but that is about it. Damage reduceing powers should still be used.
3. hovering can move through opposng characters without stopping.
Nah, if you are flying at me if you are low to the ground, I will try to stop you. I like this the way it is.
4. soaring can hit grounded fig. there range is half, rounded up and plus 1. ex. ultron with 10 range is soaring and wants to hit bullseye, ultron maxium range in soaring mode is 6 (10/2 = 5 +1 = 6).
Yes it does not make sense that Green Goblin cannot throw Pumpkin Bombs just because he is in the air. But they have to do this for playability. If it just came down to Green Goblin vs Hulk, all GG would have to do is stay in Soaring and take shots while the Hulk with no range couldn't do anything.
5. knocking a hovering fig off a building will cause 2 clixs of damage and stops in the square where s/he fell. if s/he is hovering and takes a blow and is knockoff a building they are in too much pain to fly before hitting the ground. or the hovering fig can roll a dice, if it is a 5 or 6 then the fig hovered just in time before hitting the ground.
No again. Flyers are often thrown off building in comics, only to right themselves and fly off. They shouldn't take damage.
6. telekinesis can knock opposing guys to blocking terrain and pushed off building, but must make a successful attack. if you the fig have two arrows s/hit can tk two adj opposing fig together for a clix of demage (toughness, inv. .. applies) and has to be place next to each other within the tk range.
I can see this one.
7. if there is a fig behind a stealthed fig, you could target the fig behind the stealth, but the stealth fig takes the damage. cuz the stealth fig is in the way.
Nah, not much to say, but it just doesn't sit well with me.
8. super strength can drop an object anywhere and it is optional to use in close combat.
I agree they should be able to drop it, but if you have it in your hands and engage in close combat, you have no choice but to use it.
9. like if a person is on the ground and he/she wants to shot a person on a roof, he/she could as long as he/she has clear line of fire and no one is adj. to his square in front of the target he is trying to shoot.
If this was made it would have to also have the stipulation of being at half range to still give the elevated fig some advantage. Right now, the only advantage they have is grounded figs can't shoot back with there is anyone if their path.
10. on a successful attack with super strength, that fig can pick up only one adj. opposing fig and throw s/he four spaces in a straight line with clear line of fire, the fig being thrown may roll a 5 or 6 on a dice to prevent 1 clix of demage if s/he in thrown into open space on the same level terrain, toughness and others applies. only 1 damage against a wall, roll does not apply. 2 damage off a building, lands in the square adj to the building in the straight line of the thrown fig.
Maybe some rule to allow throwing of figs (yes I too am jonesing for a Fastball Special), but maybe not all this.
11. medics can heal themselves.
If you allow this, it should only be like MK and only 1 click at a time. Anything more than that would be way too much and unbalance the medics (think of how the paramedics are already going to rule)
