WizKids is happy to announce that Print & Play is now 100% supported on the HeroClix.com website!
Recently, Wizkids began a dialogue with Team Mobilehorror with the goal of bringing PnP officially to HeroClix.com. Team Mobilehorror’s contribution to PnP over the years is proven and they’ve become a trusted name to HeroClix fans everywhere, and we’ve enjoyed working with them on this project.
Together, we have uploaded all of the Print & Play content originally found on their website to HeroClix.Com (http://heroclix.com/downloads/) [Downloads Section]. That’s right! All HeroClix sets, ranging from the feats and battlefield conditions introduced in Mutant Mayhem through the latest character cards found in the Thor Fast Forces set, are available for download in a convenient pdf format.[...]

Soooooooo....THAT'S why it was down!
I'd like to thank all you guys at mobilehorror for keeping all that available through the dead times to now. It was always great to know the info was still out there. I'm so glad they kept your format, makes it real easy to center the front and back of the cards.

I guess that explains why Mobile Horror was not coming back on line. They have done an awesome job on this. I did notice that some of the special markers aren't there(IE Sinestro barrier markers etc.) Is that due to liscensing?
I was wondering if this was why the site was down given the timing and update to the Heroclix website. It took a few years, but it looks like WizKids is doing the right business thing and centralizing the support for their products.
Hopefully this will help new players ease into the game if all the rules and support are in one place.

This is great! I have been a fan of mobilehorror and was worried, apparently for naught, when it was down. I love things that make playing this game easier. Nice to have it back!
And there was much rejoicing!

That's awesome. It doesn't look like they have any of the custom stuff. I never printed off any of the Orange Lantern tokens for Larfleeze :(

With the original 3D listed there (dumpster etc.) are those legal to print and play then, or do they fall under the 3D object category and are those cards now only available as reference?

Yep, the cards are only for reference.
It is a lot more convenient to house-rule them with P&P though.

Well, I give congrats to Blue Atoll and can't wait to rep him for making it to the big leagues. His voluntary support to this game is spectacular.

Agreed.
It's been a pleasure to work with the entire MH team these last couple of months to make this happen.

I have to say that it has been fun working with the folks at WizKids. We all share a common vision of where we would like to see Heroclix going.
We are already hard at work updating old card sets with cleaner graphics and are getting ready for new stuff, like the Captain America set, to come out. Our goal is to have all Print & Play elements for a set ready for download within 24 hours of a set's release. We also plan on continuing to update the wording of cards, including Feats and BFCs, based on rulings in the Player's Guide.
We are always looking for ways to enhance the Heroclix play experience so if you have any ideas of what you'd like to see in Print & Play, let me know.

This is great!
I hope they're being smart and just giving you their digital files for anything from HoT on. You shouldn't have to scan anything for which they have the print masters after all. :cheeky:
Thanks as always for your hard work!

They are very, VERY, large files. You need to save them locally to your machine and wait until they have completely downloaded before opening them. For example, the Web of Spider-man zip file is over 79Mg in size.
You must open them locally, not directly from your browser.

I tried both. I've downloaded DC75, but the message says the files are invalid.

Just curious if this was actually tested before it went live? I.E. did you try multiple versions of IE, Firefox, etc?

Intensively.
Best leave it to Blue Atoll or Batman1970 to take care of this. PM either one of them.

Just tested 75th and GSX, desktop download, about 5 minutes each, both opened just fine. I'm using Firefox.
What are you using?

When I use my Windows XP machine at work the zip files won't open after downloading. When I use my Windows 7 laptop at home I have no problem at all. What OS are you using?

I tried with the dc75th in firefox on an xp machine. Worked fine, though I'm not sure why so many have a red border around them.

If you are having issues with opening a downloaded zip file, especially if you are using Windows XP, you may want to refer to this Microsoft Knowledge Base article (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/308090) to see if it can remedy the problem.
We extensively tested the zip files before we went live with the download page and hope this resolves your issues.

Just to let everyone know, we removed the .zip file character cards from the downloads page that some people were having trouble opening and replaced them with straight .pdf files. Since some of these files are HUGE, we want to stress that you should save the .pdfs locally rather than try and open them up in your browser. You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader (available for free) to read these files.
Cards for Captain America will be posted tomorrow when the set releases.

Just wanted to announce that as of 12:45am EDT today (day of release) all of the Captain America character cards, bystanders, and 3-D objects are available for download on the WizKids download page for Print & Play.
