What is a dink?
If it's what I think it is, I've seen a lot of people including moderators throw around a pretty rude insult. I thought this site was supposed to be welcoming.

Why did they call you a dink?

No one called me one, but after viewing numerous threads, I've seen others throw it out there just because someone asks a simple question. Or if someone questions a judges ruling.

Sigh... a jerk, or a goof. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dink)

Also, an Emmy-nominated Dinosaur. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dink,_the_Little_Dinosaur)

Sure, it can also mean something else in England or Canada, but the mods aren't British or Canadian, for the most part, so don't know what it means there. I wouldn't worry too much.

i always thought it meant Double Income No Kids.

but on the realms it means "Someone who tries to argue the intricacies of the rules (and the English language) to exploit a game mechanic, rather than just play the game as obviously intended."

Its a tinny little thing left on your car after it's hit by a shopping card.
They mostly hang out at Wall-mart parking lots.

I never took it as mean-spirited but I also didn't know it was that harsh in countries outside of the US- interesting. I always took it as a goof, maybe a "nicer" jerk.
