A thought about SPOILERS

When I heard there was gonna be another Marvel Expansion in March, I was pretty excited. I love new expansions! I got into the Game with HT, and Eagerly anticipated CT before it came out. I checked their website every wednesday.
Then I discovered HCRealms. It's a great place to listen to other players and occasionally make some observations of my own (like this one). It's also THE best place for early info on the new sets! Which is GREAT! Or is it?
I read the Pineapple. I saw the previews. And when that convention hit, I saw the rest of the figures.
And now with the release less than a week away, I find the excitement has all but dissapeared. I know I'll go buy them, and it will be fun, but the magic is gone. I find myself wishing i hadn't read the pineapple, or seen the convention photos. I feel like I ruined it.
I came into the game with Hypertime, and I'm a big DC fan, MUCH moreso than Marvel, so natch' I hit the roof when I saw those truly amazing COSMIC JUSTICE pics. But what do I do? I don't want to ruin this one! I'll definitly NOT look at any lists that pop up, but unless I want to give up HCRealms, I'm gonna be exposed to every picture that gets leaked.
I doubt I'll be able to resist the weekly previews, and frankly I don't wanna miss them. I find they really add to my excitement. But what about the other stuff, like the convention photos?
I'm not asking HCRealms to stop posting pics like that, but would it be possible to post them with a spoiler warning on them, instead of just slapping them up on the main page?
I'll probably look anyway, but shouldn't I have the option not to?

That's a decent idea. Maybe just have a text link to a thread with all the pictures or whatever. The Sneak-Peeks are fine but any other info.......

I admit that the hype over Xplosion is kinda low at this point. After all the Megacon news......what else is there but to get the figures for yourselves? You've seen them, seen their stats, everything. Sure once people get them in their hands and start playing figures the hype will skyrocket again (as well as people who need trades) but when I got my IC and HT sets I didn't know of this site and I was nuts over them. Especially DC as I didn't expect a lot of the characters who made it into the set. I had started collecting CT before I was lurking around here so I didn't really lose too much enthusiasm for CT either. But Xplosion.....well I have my case coming in but I have a feeling the thrill I got opening that first DC case won't be as high.

Oh well. Such is the problem of great journalism. Double edged sword analogy at its finest.

How many times are you going to say that today? I think that has been your reply to the last 10 posts; and only two of them had the word pineapple in it. Ooopps. I just said it. Are you going to reply by saying there isn't one? j/k :)

I agree that the convention ruined it. All the stats were leaked. All the pictures were leaked. And a month early to boot!

The "LIST" was okay. It made me preorder the case. Now that I know everything, I'm not really sure I still want a full case. The con was way too early to pass out the boosters.

Seriously, that "there is no Pinapples, only Zoul" thing is getting old.
