Newbie with a question

Hello everyone. I had a question for the expert players in here. I am a newbie and have only played against my son. What I was wondering is this. Is there any difference in getting all versions of a figure other than the obvious power totals? If that is the case, should I only try to obtain V & U clix?

In addition to the power levels, different versions often have different team abilities (especially villains!) and it can be advantageous to have "lesser" versions for their cheaper point cost. Although most teams are built around 1 or 2 main characters and then support, you will invariably find yourself asking, "How can I fill in these leftover 36 points?" Sometimes you only need a particular version because the others are less efficient for the points spent. I choose E She-Hulk over V everytime because you don't really add much for the extra cost. R Black Panther is perfect for support with Stealth and Outwit. etc. etc.
