This game will be more complicated than what's described there, as nearly everyone has some sort of 'special thing' about them. Doesn't mean everyone has a night power, but you never know...

3) You may NOT send a PM to anyone about this game unless your role explicitly says you can. This is cheating.

Night 0

A man sat behind a desk, looking through several files in front of him. There was something odd about all the names these files contained, but he couldn’t quite figure out what. It required further investigation, that was for sure.

They met at night and greeted each other with a hug. It had been far too long since the last time they had seen each other, especially after all they had been through. The conversation started light. The typical topics covered when two long lost friends first reunite. “How are you?”, “What’s new?” and other such pleasantries. But the conversation did not stay light for long. They knew there were much more important matters that needed to be address. Decisions needed to be made.

There was a rustle in the woods. There were no witnesses as to what made the sound, but maybe that is for the best. Any witness would not have enjoyed the sight they would have seen in front of them and, more importantly, probably would not have survived long enough to share what they had seen.

A round of applause could be heard that lasted for about a minute. Various whistles and cheers mixed with a sound of clapping. When it finally died down, the man smiled.
“Good evening, good evening, good evening and welcome!” he said, knowing things were just getting underway.

In a high school in the suburbs, a teenage boy stood alone in the auditorium. He had been given permission to practice after hours. His music could be heard, filling the room, as the stage came alive with his movements. He never understood why his team mates got all the attention and he was so often pushed to the background. He was at least as good of a dancer as they were singers and he intended to prove it.
As he danced, a cold breeze filled the auditorium. He stopped his movement and turned the music off. He could have sworn he had heard something. Someone. A voice.
“Hello?” he shouted into the darkness, but there was no reply. Figuring he was letting his imagination run away with him, he put the music back on and continued his routine.
There it was again. The voice. He turned the music off again and walked down the stairs of the stage into the seats of the audience.
“I know someone is here” he said, suddenly wishing he hadn’t dismissed his girlfriend when she asked if he wanted company while he practiced. The room was big and he was alone. Someone could easily be hiding from him.
Thinking this was crazy and he was being needlessly paranoid, he turned back to the stage.
*BAM*

The man examined the body. It didn’t make sense. A gunshot wound to the head. That was obvious. The angle made it seem self inflicted. But why? Why would he shoot himself? And if he had, where was the gun? You cannot dispose of a gun if you are dead. No, the scene wasn’t adding up. Something was wrong. He thought back to the files he had read earlier. Something was very wrong.

Magnito is dead. He was Mike Chang (http://images.wikia.com/glee/images/f/f7/MikeSeason2.jpg) (Town/Glee), extraordinarily talented dancer whose body is now lifeless.

With 23 active players, 12 is a majority.

I was actually eating cereal...er, healthy food...from the mug of my tv show when I got and was reading my role PM.

As the person who got Mags to watch it, I found it extra-humourous. :)

However, I strongly advise that if Mags likes a show, you give it a whirl (caveat: him and I have -very- close tastes when it comes to television).

But that's what a game like this is about: to broaden your horizons and try out something new, all while knowing that it comes from members of a community of people you respect and trust in their judgement and that we're here to guide you on that path.

I watched episode 1 of Suits today :) was actually pretty good...was worried about it a bit because I already watch Franklin and Bash(really good show btw) which is also a lawyer show. But it's Sunday so new True Blood episode :) Then tomorrow is Weeds and The Big C...nothing on Tuesday, then Wednesday I am out of town.

I keep trying to catch F&B but, other than the first episode, they all get pre-empted by spouse's set DVR recordings (and we have -two- DVR's!).

Rather enjoying "Suits", even if I keep wanting feeling like I'm watching a team-up between Doogie Howser and Val Kilmer. :)

F&B is pretty awesome, they did a good job of mixing the seriousness with the funny on that show...though I am disappointed they canceled Breaking In on Fox. I have only seen the first episode of Suits so far but it was enjoyable...and looks like Burn Notice is going to be picking up this week :)

I bought my wife the boxed set (all four paperbacks) for only $20 since she was digging the show so much. With deals like that around, hopeful that means you won't have to wait too long.

The various members of the town didn't seem to concerned about the apparent suicide of the talented young man. Despite the protest of one man, claiming it must have been murder, the others went about their daily lives as if nothing special had occurred.

Night 1 starts now. You have 24 hours

Music filled the room and the dance floor started to come alive. A cadre of people, dressed to impressed were filling the floor, moving their bodies to the rhythm of the beat. In the corner of the room, there were two that were not dancing but rather having a conversation instead. As they talked, they were so engrossed that they didn’t notice that someone was approaching them.
“Can I have this dance?” the man asked the first.
The two exchanged glances. “Go ahead” said the second, “I think we were done anyways”. The first followed the man to the dance floor while the second quietly left the club.

One of the more powerful beings in town was lost in thought. Something odd was happening, that was for sure. He couldn’t exactly comprehend what he had just witnessed, but he knew it required further investigation.

Tonight, they found what they were looking for. The target was alone, unprotected and they were drawn to him. The target didn’t stand a chance against the sheer number of them. There would be nothing left in the morning.

How could I have been so blind? The solution to my problems with the Glee Club were staring me in the face all this time. It came to me when I heard about the death of the dancing Asian, that no matter what I do, I could never be as effective as what they can do to themselves.

She stopped. She thought she heard a noise. A voice, maybe? She listened, but heard nothing.

Am I going crazy, journal? Now, at the mere age of 29, am I losing my last grips of sanity?

There is was again. The voice. Someone was in the school with her. Rising from her seat, she walked around her desk and opened the door to her office.

(Seriously though, they take -4- hours to teach you CPR/AED? That's got to be a required legal minimum or something as I'm figuring about thirty minutes worth of teaching, thirty of having you guys practice and thirty to test you.)

A dozen people. 3 dummies. Video + Book, and some mini-training.

Compression session. Breathing session. Compression+breathing. Final test with all of it together. I think my actual learning/test time was maybe 25 minutes.

She was just annoyed, more than anything. It seemed like a great waste of her time. He wasn’t telling her anything she didn’t already know. Still, he seemed satisfied after he had finished saying what he thought needed to be said. After he was gone, she simply rolled her eyes and carried on with her business.

The young man stood on the stage as the venue cleared out. It had been a good performance, all things considered. They weren’t nearly as terrible as he had expected them to be. His hair stood on end and he thought he heard a laugh. He took a sniff and couldn’t smell anything unusual. He continued working. There it was again... the laugh. He knew he heard it this time.
He took a step off the stage, putting down his guitar, and that was the last thing he’d ever do.

The young man’s body was found in the morning. He had been hit over the head. Hard. One solid strike with a blunt object had taken him down. There was no mistaking it. This one was not a suicide. The weapon was gone, but this time it was certain. It was indeed murder.

It's not likely that there's more than two RB, since you were blocked and you also attempted to block. And the second kill didn't happen. Which means either it wasn't attempted, or it was blocked. And assuming you're claiming town, that means that an ostensible third roleblocker would be mafia. Since it is highly unlikely they blocked their own kill, that leaves the second killer as either you or whoever a potential mafia RB targeted.

Am I overthinking this? I'm still not convinced you're clean, but I'll wait until morning to see if anyone has anything to add. Don't want the mafia jumping on a midnight train.

Nope, Veronica Mars has only appeared in S1. She was lynched early in the game, resurrected, then Nightkilled later. I think.
