HCRealms Member Dinner @ GenCon!

We are two weeks away from GenCon and all of the Clix goodness that brings. Last year began the first of many HCRealms GenCon gatherings with a raid of Mug N’ Bun ... which saw many of our brethren fall to the Monster Challenge. Due to rides and distance we have moved the venue to The Old Spaghetti Factory which is within walking distance of the Con. Here are the details of the dinner:

WHEN: Thursday August 4th, 2011 @ 8 p.m. ***
WHO: All are invited (including children)
RSVP: Please notify GauchoKing by either posting a comment or by PM no later than Sunday July 31st.

NOTE: The first 20 people to show up will get free Raffle tickets for prizes at the HCRealms.com After Hours Battle (http://www.hcrealms.com/forum/showthread.php?t=321976) (AKA. Dweez’s Event).

HCRealms will pay for some appetizers. The meal that you pay for includes: coffee, tea, iced tea, milk, bread, salad, the entree ... and ice cream! You will be able to choose from either Chicken Marsala,
Spaghetti with Meat Sauce and Mizithra Cheese, or Fettuccine Alfredo. Again YOU are responsible for your own drinks and meal.

(sorry for shouting I wanted everyone to hear :-)) As far as distance, it is east of the con about 2-3 blocks. With the new convention center layout you can exit the building onto Georgia street and walk two blocks and the building is on the corner of Meridian and Georgia

This is my first time at Gen Con though, so I might want to take advantage of the time there to get in as many games as I can so I'm not sure I can fully commit to this at the moment. I'll have to see what else might be going on and/or if something I am playing will be running during this time.

I also assume it's going to be like a wedding reception too. If you send out 300 invitations, you'll probably get RSVP's for about half of what went out. Out of those RSVP's you can assume that about 25% of them won't actually show up. Not being pessimistic, I just know that people have to cancel at the last minute or things come up that are beyond their control.
