At 153 points, Silver Banshee is a dangerous lady to upset! Her early-dial Running Shot coupled with Pulse Wave is enough to give the hardiest of opposing figures pause, but her Wail of the Banshee special power really freezes her enemies in their tracks! The ability to use Incapacitate with three targets is plenty useful, but combined with the opportunity to deal damage equal to the number of tokens on her targets? When played correctly it is a deadly and effective power!

I think she's very comic accurate. Love the Running shot and pulse wave. There are a lot of uses for that. Nice values for the cost, though I would have liked to see her maybe 5 points lower. Nice sculpt. Very well done, WizKids.
This Superman set is setting up to be everything that DC75th wasn't. And, that's coming from a pretty big DC fan.
I got to have her she is on my list now for sure.

I think there is a misprint in the keywords Society should be the Society. I don't know why this mess with DC keywords, there are too many of them for the same teams, like: Justice League of America and JLA or The Society and Secret society of Super Villains, why not use the same keywords? or, at least give us an errata that unifies that keywords...
Regarding the preview, she is very cool and that multi-damage-incapacitate is really cool, this girl is really great!

That special power is neat, but her mid to end dial 16's then 15's seems a little poor at 153pts. I can see the applications in a sealed but I doubt she would be used, though of course, that would depend on your pulls.
In constructed, it would depend on her teammates and their ability to tie up your opponent while she incap/slap's them, hopefully to KO.

She seems a little stronger than in the comics, I've seen her beaten by quite lowbie heroes.
I'm wondering if there will be *any* low cost figs in this set, lol :cheeky:

very effective for her points. i give her 2 thumbs up. definitely a figure worth looking at twice in sealed... (perhaps even 3 times)

Why? She's got a dial full of pulse wave and psychic blast. If it's for the incap sp, save the points. Have her incap the smaller guys for the damage and multiple targets. Her incap isn't gonna matter against a tentpole (even with the built in "wobbly blow" 'cause it ain't stunning) and why would I incap them when I could potientially pulse wave or psychic blast them?
That being said, a dial full of reducers on a mystics piece is delicious. This banshee can wail for me anytime!

all that penetrating damage and you think people won't field her? I think she is almost an auto play. No worries about Imperv, Supersenses, ES/D, etc.
She is a giant slayer AND a swarm smasher.
Only ? I have is I thought she was a flier. No?

The difference is the cleanliness of the breakpoints. JLA actually shifted titles and was part of editorial efforts to encourage changes in reading habits. The big names had cameos but obligingly dropped in only to buoy the book as needed. These are easy cues for Wizkids to pick up on, even if it wasn't really necessary to subdivide. The Avengers on the other hand, became an ill defined melting pot for the shiny characters of the MU. Characters came and went but if they got so much as a cameo, they suddenly had everlasting membership in the reserves. It wasn't until the Civil War period that Avengers really started to splinter into different titles and by then two things were true... 1) The titles didn't last long enough or remain consistent enough to nail down a roster. 2) There was scarcely a member of any roster that hadn't also been a part of the main title... so subsets were meaningless.
Now on to Silver Banshee. I'd never heard of this character prior to her appearance in Public Enemies. I've wanted her ever since and the sculpt is close enough to that appearance to leave me quite satisfied. The dial also seems fun. My only dilemna will be determining which of the sound based characters (Klaw or Silver Banshee) to use for my Soundwave mod.

You are correct, I've seen her fly many times in the comics, but this piece is great...wish I had money to buy a case, or a brick :(

Yeah, my first thought was "huh, I thought she could fly."
I lie, that was actually my third thought.
My first was, "she looks awesome!"
My second was, "yay, she's only an uncommon."
Hooray for a non-remake Superman-themed figure that is long over due in clix form.
I suppose her lack of flight means that I can carry her around with Ghost Widow! :devious:

Wow, Superman set is going to be the set of the year. Can wait to play with those clixs.

Very nice for the points. But I'll save myself 3pts and play a much better Ursa on any team anytime over Silver Banshee.

I first heard about her back in the day when I was reading the original Firestorm series, when he was cool. Not the latest one with this mediocre version.

this would be the first LE that i would feel a need to have. Secret6 ftw!

In the animated series she flies and I thought she flew in the comics but this might not be the case.
Her dial is great and I plan on playing her against Superman. Too bad she doesn't fly
Sweet!! She's begging for stunning blow and Armor Piercing. Hit em for 3, minimum 1 and then deal more damage for the tokens placed which will also be penetrating with Armor Piercing.
She's great even without feats though....expensive but kewl!!

Hey, wait...When u use Stunning Blow, do you deal the FULL 3 damage to multiple targets, or do you divide it up?? If u deliver 3 to multiple targets, then man, have I been asleep! (embarrassed;)
